An interconnected series of the blood management is called blood supply chain management (BSCM). The stages of BSCM consisted of blood collecting, production, inventory, and distribution. The main challenges in BSCM are related to shortage, outdate, and supply chain cost which needed to minimize. Naturally, problems in BSCM are complex, it is not an easy task to find the solution. This complexity brought by several factors as follows: its inflicted risk, the uncertainty of supply and demand, blood nature as perishable commodity, demand uniqueness, and cost occurred. This research purposes was to review of various research related to BSCM and highlight opportunities to develop further research in blood supply chain (BSC). The result of this research is a suggestion on various possible future research to be explored in BSC, for example, developing an adaptive inventory model to support blood supply chain management that could be responsive toward demand fluctuation and developing collecting strategy to minimize shortage, outdate and incurred cost in supply chain level.

Blood supply chain management is very complex system. By considering blood’s demand that characterized as stochastic, therefore information and communication among stakeholders are considered as important cycle in supply chain. This research is objected to design interactive communication model based on information technology with android as platform to create effective customer-supplier relationship to support Customer Relationship Management or better known as CRM. The methods that suggested in designing its information system are Quality Function Deployment (QFD) approach, Kano Model and Morphological Chart. From mentioned methods, attributes of design and specification priorities of purposed android system technology design are established. Attributes of design will be adjusted with customers’ requirements derived from customer voice that will further be integrated with technical responds in QFD. Technical responds will provide priorities on each design’s attribute of android information system and will be forwarded to the specifications determination by using morphological chart. Later, work flow of design system will be generated by using Data Flow Diagram (DFD). The result of the research will demonstrate the design of information system technology based on android that already adjusted with the requirement of donors as means of communication between suppliers and customers in blood supply chain.

Food is the main basic needs for human that must be fulfilling at all times. The right to obtain food is one of human right, as it stated in the article 27 of the 1945 Constitution and in the Rome Declaration (1996). The aim of this study is to find out and analyze the development of supply chain management models that are used to maximize rice production in order to improve food security and security in Demak Regency. The methodology that used of this study is descriptive qualitative with the data collection method used in-depth interviews and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and literature study. The result of this study indicate that it can increase rice production and increase the rice fulfillment ratio around 12% at the end of the 2032 period and the scenario with the efficiency of the rice supply chain can reduce the logistics costs between farmers and rice traders around 14.3%. The conclusion of this study is to increase the ratio of rice fulfillment and creates the efficiency in supply chain management. This shows that based on parameters changes by increasing the value of crop agro-input and extensification scenarios which can increase the rice production per year and rice fulfillment ratio, while scenarios with rice supply chain efficiency can reduce the logistics costs between farmers and rice traders around 14.3%. While the rice prices were also affected and had a price reduction ratio of 3.75%.
