This study aims to determine the relationship of loneliness with problematic internet use on boarding students on Silaberanti street in Siantan jaya Opposite Ulu 1 Palembang city. Research subjects numbered 220 people using random sampling methods. Data was collected using a 60 item problematic internet use scale and a 60 item loneliness. Realibility is generated on scale of problematic internet use of 0,955 and loneliness of 0,946.Hypothesis testing uses product moment correlation analysis techniques. Hypothesis test results showed a positive relationshif between loneliness with problematic internet use on boarding students on Silaberanti street in Siantan jaya Opposite Ulu 1 Palembang city r= 0,684 with a significance level of 0,000 (p<0,01). Loneliness in this study made an effective contribution of 46,8% to problematic internet use which can be seen from the coefficient of determination (r²) that is equel to 0,468.

Objectives: In this study, we sought to determine the prevalence of problematic Internet use (PIU) among high school students and identify demographic and socioeconomic factors related to PIU. Methods: Using a cross-sectional design, we conducted this study between November 2017 and January 2018 of 1412 students attending high schools in the Silivri District of Istanbul in Turkey. We administered a questionnaire inquiring about sociodemographic information, Internet use, and Young's Internet Addiction Test to participating students. Results: Among participants, 18.5% (male = 17.2%; females = 19.8%) were found to show PIU. PIU rates were higher among those with a high household income and lower among those who studied in science high schools, performed physical activities at least 2 days a week, and read at least one book a month. PIU rates were also higher among those who had their own bedrooms, phones, smartphones, Internet connections at home, and social networking accounts. Conclusion: The prevalence of PIU among the participants was 18.5%. Female sex, high household income, low physical activity, grade level, school type, reading fewer than one book per month, and Internet use experience were risk factors for PIU. PIU is considered a significant public health concern across the world, including in Turkey.

OHI-S is a state of oral and dental hygiene measured by a debris score and calculus of a person's teeth. Gingiva is part of the outer periodontal tissue. Self-confidence is a positive attitude of someone who enables him to develop a positive assessment of himself and his environment. The aim of the study was to determine the relationship of OHI-S status and gingival health to self-confidence in class VII adolescents at Unaaha 2 Public High School. Type of correlative analytic research with cross sectional approach. Data collection techniques are questionnaire and examination. The sample amounted to 103 people. Analysis techniques with the SPSS program and statistical tests using chi square. The test results of the relationship of OHI-S status to confidence with the chi square analysis test. The value of ρ-value = 0.00 <α = 0.05 thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so that there is a relationship between the status of OHI-S and self confidence in adolescents of class VII at Unaaha Public High School 2. The test results on the relationship of gingival health to self-confidence with the chi-square analysis value ρ-value = 0.00 <α = 0.05 thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so that there is a relationship between gingival health status and confidence in class VII youth at Unaaha 2 Public High School.

<p>This study aimed to determine whether problematic internet use and healthy lifestyle behaviors among high school students varied by gender, grade level, academic average, and school type variables and to investigate the relationship between problematic internet use and healthy lifestyle behaviors. The sample of the study consisted of a total of 310 students enrolled in three different high schools in Giresun province in Turkey, including 159 females and 151 males. The study employed the relational screening model. The data collection tools used in the study were the Problematic Internet Use Scale (PIUS), the Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors Scale (HLBS) and a Personal Information Form. Independent group t-test, one-way variance analysis, and Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient were utilized in the analysis of the data. The results of the study indicated that problematic internet use varied by grade level, academic average, and school type variable, it did not show a difference according to gender and whether parents live together or apart variables, and that healthy lifestyle behaviors did not show any difference according to any variables at all. In the study, a low negative correlation was found between problematic internet use and healthy lifestyle behaviors.
