Abstract Present study shows the species and thallus structure diversity of Chlorophyta in shore platform of Dwarka, Gujarat Coast. Chlorophyta were surveyed based on systematic random sampling for two years: April 2013 to April 2015. Total 27 species of Chlorophyta were identified through intensive fieldwork survey based on line transect and quadrate based methods. This study identifies four orders, nine families, 13 genera and 27 species among the green macroalgae population inhabiting the rock shore platform of Dwarka. Total 27 species of Chlorophyta have been found with major nine thallus types and 19 sub types of thallus structure. Ramiform and filamentous types of thallus structure are most common in this study.

This study aimed to determine if capital market training, on-line facilities, social environment, and a minimum amount of investment affect Indonesian and Malaysian university-students’ decisions in investing in the capital markets of each country, as they are potential smart investors. Based on 229 respondents from both countries, a survey was conducted comprising 24 questions. Respondents were selected using they random sampling method. The results found that capital market training and on-line facilities were not factors that influenced university students’ decisions in Indonesia and Malaysia in making investment in the capital markets. The other two variables, social environment and a minimum amount of investment proved influential. The mediating variable, investment interest partially influenced the relationship between social environment and a minimum amount of investment-to-investment decision, but did not mediate capital market training and on-line facilities to the investment decision. Keywords: capital market training, on-line facilities, social environment, minimum amount of investment, university-students

Abstract This paper reports microhabitat preferences of Phaeophyta from the shore platform, Dwarka, Gujarat coast, India. Macroalgae distribution was tagged with shore platform’s zonal morphology. Macroalgae (Phaeophyta) were surveyed based on systematic random sampling for two years (April, 2013 to March, 2015). Total 21 species of Phaeophyta were identified through intensive fieldwork/in situ survey based on Line Intercept Transect and Quadrate based methods. Five groups of Phaeophyta were identified as per their zonal preference on the shore platform. On family level, most of the Sargassaceae showed a ubiquitous distribution on the shore platform while Dictyotaceae showed preference towards the subtidal and intertidal mixed zone of the shore platform.

This ex post facto research, conducted at SDN Gedong 06 Pagi, Gedong village, East Jakarta in August 2013, aimed to obtain empirical data of the influence of the intensity of playing on-line games towards the aggressiveness of grade II SD. Samples were taken using the technique of cluster random sampling and simple random sampling. The data were collected using question form and analyzed employing one way analysis of Variance (ANAVA) and t-test. The results of the testing of hypotheses using ANAVA indicate different aggression of the children in the three groups of intensity playing on-line game. T- test indicates all H0 rejected but Ha accepted. The implication of this research result is the intensity performed by the children in playing on-line games could contribute to their aggression against the environment. The role and efforts of teachers and parents in providing the children with educational games, can develop pro-social behavior and positive character of the children.
