In order to promote the application of two dimensional barcode on mobile phone, this paper uses the popular Android technology, and researches QR code format and the decode process of the QR code; and then designs 2D bar code recognition system based on the decode library Zxing. After testing, it is proved that the system has good generality and low resource consuming, and the software of itself is only 140 K.

Abstract In order to solve the problem that the salesmen need to scan the bar code of commodity price one by one in supermarket settlement system, a commodity settlement system is proposed. The system hardware includes smart phone, PC and LCD. The image information is obtained after the smart phone scans goods, then the acquired image is uploaded to the upper computer, which identifies commodity and obtains the unit price of goods through the image, finally, the payment QR code is displayed on the LCD screen. Without scanning the cods again at the checkout counter, the payment could be accomplished in a manner that saved time and manpower cost.

The article evaluated the control of Stencil in the subprocess of Printing of the SMD line of a company located in the Industrial Pole of Manaus (PIM), to provide subsidies to develop a computerized system. With computerization, the focus of employees will be directed to the activities of production and quality of manufactured products, also, the collection of process data, done in real-time, will allow managers to better monitor and take actions in the process. To this end, a case study, bibliographic research of articles, dissertations, and theses involving the theme, and documentary research (forms, records, etc.) with the sectors involved were used. The descriptive statistics method was applied, quality tools were used, aimed at identifying and solving problems such as PDCA, Pareto, Ishikawa Diagram, flow chart, and 5W2H. A study of the activities related to the control of the Stencil was carried out, of the documentation used in the process, as well as of the factors and causes related to the effective Stencil control. Among the results, 24 causes affect the performance of the Stencil control, concluding that the main failures were human, due to the prioritization of production goals by the employees, leaving the other activities in the background, which is why the 24 guidelines proposed for the computerization of this process become relevant, some of which are: defining means to identify each Stencil using a bar code or QR code; do not allow the use of the Stencil if one of the activities unfinished in the process; stop production when an activity is not performed; digitize the documents used in this process; create an automatic notification to those responsible, when an action is necessary, etc.

A mosaic method of based on rotational scan sequence cylindrical barcode which is suitable for metal parts is put forward, which combined the hardware and the software. Firstly, extract the feature points of each serial image based on scale-interaction of Marr wavelets. Then, get the optimal match of feature points with improved image local entropy. Lastly, complete the natural splice of the defect 2D bar code images through the algorithm of three interpolation and multi-resolution spline. The experimental results show that the algorithm could extract the feature points of consistent relative position and quantity after the processes of rotation, brightness, blur and nose, at the same time, assure the splicing efficiency and measurement precision of image mosaic. The method can also better finish the defect bar code recovery caused by curvature deformation.

In order to realize the tropical fruit quality safety traceability, the paper proposes that using two-dimensional bar code (QR Code) technology constructs the tropical fruit quality safety traceability system. On the basis of the study of the two-dimensional bar code (QR Code) technology in Manufacturing Environment, author analyzes the elements involved of tropical fruit production and circulation, uses HACCP, FMECA and other technical methods, puts forward the key elements of the quality and safety of tropical fruit, uses country and industry relevant coding standard, and constructs tropical fruit quality safety traceability system based on two dimensional bar code (QR Code). Application shows that the tropical fruit companies or production bases by using the system improve the tropical fruit production safety management level, realize the tropical fruit quality safety traceability, promote tropical fruit industrialization and standardization management.

The article develops multi-pattern formation exchange using A* searching algorithm, and programs the shortest motion paths for mobile robots. The system contains an image recognition system, a motion platform, some wireless RF modules and five mobile robots. We use Otsu algorithm to recognize the variety 2D bar code to classify variety pattern, and control five mobile robots to execute formation exchange, and present the movement scenario on the motion platform. We have been developed some pattern formations according to game applications, such as hook pattern formation, T pattern formation, L pattern formation, rectangle pattern formation, sward pattern formation and so on, and develop the user interface of the multi-robot system to program motion paths for variety pattern formation exchange on the supervised computer. The supervised computer programs pattern formation exchange according to the image recognition results, and controls mobile robots moving on the motion platform via wireless RF interface. In the experimental results, mobile robots can receive the pattern formation command from the supervised computer, and change the original pattern formation to the assigned pattern formation on the motion platform, and avoid other mobile robots on real-time.

QR Code is an abbreviation of Quick Response Code. QR Code has been developedby Denso Corporation since 1994 that was first used as an identifier vehicle manufacturingsection. Along with the development needs, QR Code replaces the use of Bar Code in someareas due QR Code can be read only with digital cameras and even webcam and cameraphone. In addition to the use of QR Code as one document security device and QR Code is one of thefast recognition method. So in this study the author tries to take advantage of the QR Code asfast reading and recording of student attendance. The one of the reasons is that the presence ofstudents in each meeting is becoming one of the points of assessment, and the use of digitalcameras have become widespread in many ways, digital camera also embedded built in everylaptop which used by teachers, lecturers and instructors so that presence can be easily done byutilizing the integrated webcam in lapotop. The results of this study is, the application which can utilize QR Code image as the presencecard of students that can be read and recorded using teacher’s, lecturer’s or instructor’slaptop webcams so the process of recording attendance done easily and directly uploaded onacademic information systems
