The test researched the influence of layered coke charging, sandwich clamping coke charging and central coke charging with edge delaminating on the development of carbon solution reaction in shaft and the reduction of the iron-bearing burden on the condition of the same proportion of high and low reaction coke. It showed that the reduction degree of the layered type coke distribution is the best, and the loss of carbon solution is the minimum using the same proportion of high reaction coke and low reaction coke. Compared with the other two type coke distribution, the layered type coke distribution is promising to increase reaction efficiency in blast furnaces and decrease the energy consumption of blast furnace melting.

Rhodium-catalyzed C–H allylation of acrylamide derivatives with various allyl acetates was reported. The use of weakly coordinating directing group resulted in high reaction efficiency and excellent γ-selectivity. This reaction displays broad functional group tolerance, which opens a new synthetic pathway for the access of functionalized 1,4-diene skeletons.

Rh(III)-catalyzed C–H activation features mild reaction conditions, good functional group tolerance, high reaction efficiency, and regioselectivity. Recently, it has attracted tremendous attention and has been employed to synthesize various heterocycles, such as indoles, isoquinolines, isoquinolones, pyrroles, pyridines, and polyheterocycles, which are important privileged structures in biological molecules, natural products, and agrochemicals. In this short review, we attempt to present an overview of recent advances in Rh(III)-mediated C–H bond activation to generate diverse heterocyclic scaffolds with sp3 carbon centers.

A smart Pickering emulsion catalytic system is first constructed, which not only exhibits fivefold reaction rate enhancement effects in comparison to the conventional biphasic reactions but also can be demulsified by tuning pH at the end of reaction, allowing for in situ recycling nanoparticle catalysts.
