A series of titled compounds were prepared and analyzed their purities by literature method. The infrared and NMR spectral group frequencies of the compounds were assigned and correlated with Hammett substituent constants, F and R constants using single and multi linear regression analysis. From the results of statistical analysis, the effect of substituents on the above spectral frequencies was discussed.

Some substituted 1-thiocarbomyl pyrazolines including 3-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-5-(substituted phenyl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole-1-carbothioamides using solvent-free preheated fly-ash catalyzed cyclization between chalcones and thiosemicarbazide microwave irradiation. The yields of these thiocarbomyl pyrazolines are more than 80%. The purities of these synthesised pyrazoline derivatives are checked by their physical constants and spectral data earlier reported in the literature. The spectral data of these 3-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-5-(substituted phenyl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole-1-carbothioamides had been correlated, using single and multi-linear regression analysis.

This research aims to explore the impact of service quality towards the satisfaction of taxpayers who use the services of Howard Tax Consultant. Dimensions of the service quality that are used as independent variables are flexibility, reliability, assurance, tangibles, and responsiveness, meanwhile the dependent variable is taxpayers’ satisfaction. All members of the population are taken as the sample of the research, with total of 50 respondents, among those are 35 individual taxpayers and 15 corporate taxpayers. Data was collected through questionnaire with 24 indicators with Likert scale, and was analyzed using multi-linear regression analysis. The result of multi-linear regression analysis shows that flexibility, reliability, assurance, tangibles, and responsiveness are significantly and positively correlated to the satisfaction of taxpayers who use the services of Howard Tax Consultant, and therefore it is concluded that all the hypothesis in this research are upheld.

Current study focus on using method of multi-linear regression analysis and logistic regression analysis, and discuss about the condition and scope of multi-linear regression analysis and logistic regression analysis. A modeling method has been introduced keeping in the basic principles of multi-linear regression analysis and logistic regression analysis. The modeling method and two forms of analytic methods have been analyzed, based on two clinic test data of diabetes and Model-2 diabetes as objects of study in combination with the analytic methods of multi-linear regression and logistic regression. Analysis result indicate that glycosylated hemoglobin, glycerin trilaurate, total cholesterol of serum and blood sugar concentration present obvious positive relation (P < 0.05), whereas insulin and blood sugar present negative relation(P < 0.05); body mass index (BMI) and relative factors are dangerous; physical excise and relative factors are protective. In conclusion, multi-linear regression analysis and logistic regression analysis respectively have their own emphasis; for example, multi-linear regression analysis emphasizes on analyzing linear dependent relation with an dependent variable and multiple independent variables, whereas logistic regression analysis emphasizes on analyzing the relation between probability of occurring an incident and independent variables.

A series containing eleven benzofuranyl flavonols have been prepared by cyclization of 3-hydroxybenzofuranyl chalcones with 30% hydrogen peroxide in the presence of sodium bicarbonate. The synthesized flavonols were characterized by their physical constants, analytical and spectroscopic data. The infrared spectral νOH, CO stretches(cm-1), NMR chemical shifts of OH, CO(δ, ppm) of these flavonols were assigned and correlated with Hammett substituent constants, F and R parameters using single and multi linear regression analysis. From the results of statistical analyses, the effects of substituents on the above group frequencies were discussed.

A series of some aryl hydrazides have been synthesized. These hydrazides purities were analyzed by physical constants and spectral data. The assigned spectral group frequencies were correlated with Hammett substituent constants and Swain-Lupton parameters using single and multi-linear regression analysis. From the results of statistical analysis, the effect of substituents on the spectral group frequencies has been discussed
