An important premise of Natural Computing is that some form of computation goes on in Nature, and that computing capability has to be understood, modeled, abstracted, and used for different objectives and in different contexts. Therefore, it is necessary to propose a new language capable of describing and allowing the comprehension of natural systems as a union of computing phenomena, bringing an information processing perspective to Nature. To develop this new language and convert Natural Computing into a new science it is imperative to overcome three specific Grand Challenges in Natural Computing Research: Transforming Natural Computing into a Transdisciplinary Discipline, Unveiling and Harnessing Information Processing in Natural Systems, Engineering Natural Computing Systems.

Based on extensive experience of establishing and teaching new mechatronic systems engineering courses and M.Sc.-degree program since 2006 at Lawrence Technological University, this paper concentrates on the integration of education and engineering research processes. The paper analyzes challenges such as the content of each academic course and cross-lists all the courses to provide the continuity of education/research process in the mechatronic systems engineering program, selection of modeling and design techniques, usage of software products in the courses and research projects, different educational degrees (including students with PhD degrees) and professional backgrounds of mechatronics students, domestic/international student ratio, and part time/full time student ratio. Based on the analysis of the challenges, a key plan for the education-research integration was developed and implemented. Details are in the paper.

This scientific work concerning an examination on automatic speech recognition (ASR) frameworks connected with the home automation and to express the importance of this academic work, an itemized investigation of the engineering of speech recognition frameworks was completed. Our goal in Information Systems Engineering Research Group ofAbdelmalekEssaadi University is to choose a speech recognition programming that must work in remote speech conditions and in a rowdy area. The proposed framework is using atoolbox called Kaldi, which must correspond as aclient created by an advanced programming language, with any home automation framework.
