Наведено результати історичного аналізу та еволюції зелених насаджень курортного парку у смт Брюховичі, площею 10 га, закладеного на зламі ХІХ-ХХ ст. під керівництвом головного садівника Львова Арнольда Рерінга. Встановлено, що колишній курортний парк на сьогодні не є цілісним об'єктом та не має жодного природоохоронного статусу. З'ясовано, що територія парку зазнає значного антропогенного впливу, що позначилось на його фрагментації, деградації планувальної структури та поширенню забудови. Водночас спостерігається інтенсифікація його неконтрольованого заростання. У процесі історичного аналізу дендрофлори виявлено, що соснові насадження на території парку є зразком антропогенної сукцесії, яка розвивалася значно швидше, ніж лісова, а особливо в її третій стадії, коли в парку вже на початку ХХ ст. з'явилось багато листяних видів. За архівними та літературними джерелами проаналізовано планувально-стилістичні риси об'єкта та його дендрофлору. З'ясовано, що під час закладання парк формувався у пейзажному стилі, однак його видовий склад не оновлювався впродовж багатьох років, що призвело до втрати естетичності та декоративності. Виявлено, що сучасну дендрофлору парку формують 28 видів дерев і кущів, що належать до 13 родин. Встановлено, що вікова структура паркових насаджень є нерівномірною. Молоді і середньовікові особини охоплюють у середньому 20 % насаджень. Виявлено вікові особини Quercus petraea Liebl., Quercus robur L., Pinus sylvestris L. та Fagus sylvatica L., які потребують охорони. Вікові особини Quercus petraea, разом з молодими особинами формують унікальне для Львова оселище. З'ясовано, що на території парку місце декоративних видів зайняли лісові: Sambucus nigra L., Corylus avellana L., Euonymus verrucosa Scop. та E. europaea L., види роду Rubus L. Проаналізувавши дендрофлору за біоморфологічною структурою, виявлено, що панівною є група дерев – 20 видів. Із загальної кількості групи дерев переважають листопадні – 17 видів; вічнозелених є тільки 3 види. Група кущів – 8 видів, серед яких переважають листопадні (6 видів). Рівень збереженості цього парку оцінено на два бали. Об'єкт потребує подальшого моніторингу зелених насаджень та розроблення проєкту відновлення, впорядкування території та надання відповідного охоронного статусу.

The paper deals with the occurrence, development and harmfulness of Deporaus betulae (L.). The majority of field studies was carried out at Training Forest Enterprise (TFE) Masaryk Forest in Křtiny (District Brno-venkov) in 2010 and 2011. In addition to this, the species was studied in detail also in a laboratory. It occurred mostly on Betula pendula and Carpinus betulus. Rarely, the species was found on Alnus glutinosa and Corylus avellana and only sporadically on Fagus sylvatica, Quercus petraea, Tilia cordata and T. platyphyllos. In the studied area, larvae and pupae hibernate. Beetles occur on trees from the end of April to the beginning of July, sporadically later. Females lay on average 2.5 (in the laboratory 4.4) eggs into rolls on B. pendula, on C. betulus 2.2 eggs. During two months, they damage on average 5.3 cm2 leaves creating 14 rolls and laying 35 eggs into the rolls. Larvae consume only 1.7 cm2 leaf blade. The development of the species takes three to four months from egg laying to the departure of larvae into soil. On leaves of B. pendula of an average area of 14.2 cm2, females roll up the same area (about 11.2 cm2) as on leaves of C. betulus of an area of 21.7 cm2. Into the rolls, they lay on average the same number of eggs. The average number of eggs in rolls increases with the increased area of B. pendula leaf blade. Trees partly compensate for the reduction of assimilatory area also by the growth of the area of neighbouring undamaged leaves (on average by 12.7 %).

3-PG: ein physiologisches Waldwachstumsmodell Ertragstafeln waren die ersten Waldwachstumsmodelle, die in Europa entwickelt wurden. Diese empirischen Modelle sind für die Anwendung unter zukünftigen klimatischen Bedingungen, für Mischbestände oder für die Abschätzung der Effekte neuer waldbaulicher Systeme ungeeignet. In den letzten Jahrzehnten wurden zunehmend Alternativen zu Ertragstafeln entwickelt, unter anderem prozessbasierte Modelle, die auch Zustände ausserhalb der Beobachtungsdaten abbilden können. Solche Modelle berücksichtigen Wachstumsdaten, aber ihre Formulierungen basieren meist auf physiologischen und allometrischen Prinzipien des Pflanzenwachstums. Zu dieser Modellfamilie gehört 3-PG (Physiological Processes Predicting Growth), das in Australien und Nordamerika für gleichaltrige Reinbestände von immergrünen Laub- und Nadelbäumen entwickelt wurde. In einer kürzlich erfolgten Weiterentwicklung (Version 3-PGmix) können auch Wechselwirkungen zwischen Bäumen verschiedener Grösse, verschiedenen Alters und verschiedener Arten simuliert werden. Der Artikel beschreibt das Modell, das aus sechs Untermodellen besteht und trotz seiner physiologischen Grundlagen Kenngrössen liefert, die für die praktische Forstwirtschaft von grosser Bedeutung sind. Zwei Beispiele von Anwendungen von 3-PG für die Schweiz werden vorgestellt. Im ersten Beispiel wird die Veränderung des Wachstums in Mischbeständen aus Waldföhre (Pinus sylvestris) und Buche (Fagus sylvatica) aufgrund des Klimawandels dargestellt. Dabei wird gezeigt, dass das Wachstum der Buche durch erhöhte Trockenheit wesentlich stärker eingeschränkt wird als jenes der Waldföhre, die zwar ebenfalls durch die Trockenheit stärker limitiert wird, aber gleichzeitig vom geringeren Konkurrenzdruck durch die Buche profitiert. Im zweiten Beispiel wird 3-PG angewendet, um den klimatischen Stress für die Buche als Funktion der Standorteigenschaften schweizweit zu quantifizieren. Beide Beispiele zeigen, dass 3-PG standortspezifische Informationen liefert, wie die Waldwachstumsdynamik durch Klima, Artenzusammensetzung und Waldbau beeinflusst wird.
