ERP systems widely used in manufacturing companies, as manufacturing order and costing become a key component in the core business process. In order to increase the management effectiveness in the company, raw material usage in the manufacturing process becomes essential data to be discovered by the company, as the production cost derived from the usage of the raw material itself. SAP ERP can be customized and tailored to meets the business process needs as the leading software company in providing end-to-end ERP Systems. This research uses the UML diagram in the module design process, and the module application itself built under the SAP environment. With the outcome of ERP system module design from this research, the company could discover manufacturing process efficiencies by utilizing a set of system modules.

In TFT-LCD manufacturing process, the ACF is an essential material. To make the driving circuit conductive, the ACF attach process is used in bonding process. Since the total manufacturing cost becomes lower year by year, the ACF material occupies a great deal of manufacturing cost. The boding technology has been changed from the conventional long bar type into short bar type to save the material usage. The parameter setting of the short bar type machine was not initially optimized. The NG rate of short bar type ACF attach process is higher as compared to the long bar type. The rework cost and material cost may increase in the short bar type process. Therefore, the parameter optimization for the associated short bar type ACF attach process becomes an essential problem. The response surface method is adopted to model the problem. The yield rate is selected as objective function for study. In the analysis of response surface method, the plasma clean speed, ACF peeling speed and ACF cutter spring setting are selected three key factors for discussion. Results reveal that the yield rate can be improved up to 99.35%, which is very helpful to improve the manufacturing process.

The microelectronics industry is heavily tasked with minimizing contaminates at all steps of the manufacturing process. Particles are generated by physical and/or chemical fragmentation from a mothersource. The tools and macrovolumes of chemicals used for processing, the environment surrounding the process, and the circuits themselves are all potential particle sources. A first step in eliminating these contaminants is to identify their source. Elemental analysis of the particles often proves useful toward this goal, and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) is a commonly used technique. However, the large variety of source materials and process induced changes in the particles often make it difficult to discern if the particles are from a common source.Ordination is commonly used in ecology to understand community relationships. This technique usespair-wise measures of similarity. Separation of the data set is based on discrimination functions. Theend product is a spatial representation of the data with the distance between points equaling the degree of dissimilarity.

SummaryThe introduction of low molecular weight heparins has added a new dimension to the pharmacological management of thrombotic disorders. Because of different chemical and pharmacological characteristics, due to the manufacturing process, each LMWH should be considered as a distinct entitity and only be used for its given indication. A list of commercially available LMWHs is included. The mechanism of action of the LMWHs and their use in various disorders are discussed. Available laboratory tests for monitoring LMWHs are presented and their limitations pointed out.
