A coupled numerical simulation of magnetic field and flow field was conducted basing on Φ250mm bloom during continuous casting with electromagnetic stirring.The distribution of the flow field was analyzed in different current and frequency.At the same current,the velocity first decrease and then increase as the frequency increase along the casting direction.At the same frequency, tangential velocity is dominant in the radial of EMS center,velocity increase with the current. Considered the results of numerical simulation,the optimized EMS parameters of Φ250mm bloom are the stirring current of 480A and the stirring frequency of 3Hz.

Flow field uniformity in the process of pressure pre-cooling can ensure fruit and vegetable pre-cooling effect. Flow field of pre-cooling packing boxes under 5 different opening modes were calculated through numerical simulation, including velocity distribution, temperature distribution and pressure distribution. The simulation results were also verified by experiment. Both theoretical and experimental results showed that the greater the external covering opening ratio, the faster the cooling. Temperature of the measure points away from the pressure fan side with a small opening ratio reduced more rapidly than that with a big external opening ratio. The opening ratio of the external covering should be lower close to pressure fan side than that away from it. Therefore in actual pre-cooling work, the opening ratio close to pressure fan side should be lower than that away from it. The diameter of the openings distributed at the lower part should be smaller than that of the openings distributed at the upper part of the external covering and this can overcome pre-cooling non-uniformity between upper and lower layers.

Software FLUENT is used to carry out the numerical simulation of SCR reactor for studying the influence of the guide plates.The results show that the flowing conditions of the flue gas in the SCR system have a significant influence upon the actual effect of the denitration reaction based on a 330MW coal-fired power plant.In order to improve the performance of the device, choosing the solution that can satisfy the requirement of design which σ (uneven speed value of the first section upon the catalyst) is less than 15%. In the optimal decision,σ is 14.4% and the system pressure drop is 134.43Pa. The appropriate arrangement of the guide plates has a positive impact on the denitration reaction and the workinglife of the catalyst.
