This paper provides an analysis of family and everyday life of twonuclear Serbian families living in the territory of the municipalityof Severna Kosovska Mitrovica. The families in question belong tothe working class and low-middle class respectively, the former beingurban, the latter rural. The paper aims at viewing, by means ofthe method of qualitative analysis – case study and problem-centredinterview, mutual interdependence between the quality offamily relations, living space standard, and the overall quality oflife in the area concerned.

This chapter aims to discuss the knowledge management in the travel services, since it has mobilized a variety of fields that seek to uncover the complexity of the process and the application contexts. In the era of globalization in which we live, the main factors that differentiate the companies and organizations depend increasingly on the quality of human capital management and knowledge management quality. This chapter analyzes how an organization of tourist services manages its knowledge. The methodology used was a qualitative analysis by applying an interview to a case study.

Kata kunci: analisis kualitatif; komunikasi matematika; matematika realistik This article aims to describe the quality of mathematical communication skills of students who are given learning with Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach on rectangular material, square and rectangular subject matter. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive case study. The subjects of this study were students of class VII(6) of SMP Negeri 15 Medan totaling 40 people, then the subject was analyzed qualitatively from the aspect of capability indicators (high, medium and low), Error aspects and empty answer aspects. The research instrument consisted of mathematical communication skills test and interview guide sheet. Data analysis techniques included data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that students' mathematical communication skills were 22.5% in the high category, 37.5% in the medium category and 40% in the low category. Furthermore, through qualitative analysis, it was concluded that: 1) Students with high abilities are able to communicate mathematically well; 2) Students with average abilities are less capable in communicating mathematically; 3) Low-ability students are not able to communicate mathematically; 4) Student errors occur in understanding problems, using concepts and steps needed to solve problems; 5) In the empty answer students are not able to understand the problem solving steps, students are less able to use and apply the counting operation, students are not able to understand the concepts in solving problems. Keywords: qualitative analysis; mathematical communication; realistic mathematics

This study investigates issues and challenges facing the inner suburban neighbourhood of arkham and Lawrence in Scarborough – Toronto’s east end. Like many other mature suburbs throughout North America, Markham-Lawrence has begun to see decline and deterioration that has resulted in lower quality of life and the flight of the middle class. Recognizing the importance of healthy, well-balanced communities for Toronto’s future, this case study aims to better understand challenges in the Markham-Lawrence area and proposes a series of recommendations for community improvement that are capable of expanding the life chances of impoverished residents, re-establishing a strong middle class, and spurring greater economic development.

In this paper, entropy, coupling coordination degree, spatial auto-analysis, LISA time path, and other methods have been used to analyze the coupling coordination degree of urban resilience and urbanization quality of 14 cities in Liaoning Province from 2009 to 2019. The results show that: 1. The number of highly resilient cities accounts for 14.3% of the total number of cities in Liaoning Province, and the overall resilience degree is low; the spatial distribution shrinks along the Shenyang–Dalian Economic Belt toward both sides, with obvious “core-margin” characteristics. 2. The average score of urbanization quality increased from 0.0574 to 0.0966, showing a fluctuating upward trend; the regional difference was significant, and the “dual-core” characteristic was prominent. 3. During the study period, the 14 cities of Liaoning Province were in a state of imbalance, and there was a positive correlation between the coupling degree and the coordination degree. Moran’s I decreased from 0.237 to 0.220 and the spatial agglomeration characteristics also weakened. Further analysis of the spatial and temporal linkage characteristics of the coupling relationship shows that the relative length of LISA time path presents characteristics of protrusion in the central region and shrinkage on the East and West sides, and the curvature presents characteristics that are smaller in the North and larger in the South.

The purpose of this study is to look at the effect of critical thinking and creative thinking on family welfare through intervening variables of quality of life in women workers in Surabaya. The concept of a research framework is built on understanding existing theories about critical thinking, creative thinking and reconstruction of family welfare through the quality of family life. This study consisted of 305 samples of female workers in Surabaya who had school-age children. Data obtained from questionnaires distributed to respondents. Using Structural Equation Modeling statistical modeling techniques, with Stata 14 Software. Critical thinking and creative thinking are needed for women workers to be able to do time, mind and energy management for office work and household chores so that a better quality of life will ultimately lead to family welfare. From this study the results were obtained the first model Y = 0.51 X1 + 0.47 X2, which means that exogenous variables consisting of critical thinking (X1) and creative thinking have a positive and significant effect on intervening endogenous variables, namely quality of life (Y) The Second Model Z = 0.93 Y which means the quality of life variable (Y) has a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable namely family welfare (Z). All latent variable indicators have a positive and significant effect with z values> 1.96. This research illustrates the importance of critical thinking and creative thinking for women workers in fighting for the quality of family life in order to achieve a prosperous family. This cannot be formed quickly, it takes time to continue to enrich themselves with new knowledge and insights.

The idea of family impact statements came from participants in the 1973 Senate subcommittee hearings who recognized that government policies, or the lack of them, affect families in unintended and often harmful ways. Both the structure and the quality of family life are powerfully influenced by inflation, unemployment, health care, housing, and income security—all areas in which government makes policy without specifically considering its impact on families. The goal of an impact analysis would be to identify, document, and make public the effects of federal policies on families. The process of preparing and publicizing the statements would at best encourage legislation and programs that enhance family life. At the least, family values would be balanced against other goals as, for example, environmental impact analysis often balances environmental values against economic growth.
