In this article, we present a new class of numeration systems, namely Semantic Numeration Systems. The methodological background and theoretical foundations of such systems are considered. The concepts of abstract entity, entanglement and valence of abstract entities, and the topology of the numeration system are introduced. The proposed classification of semantic numeration systems allows to choose the numeration system depending on the problem being solved. Examples of the use of a two-dimensional number system for image compression problems and computation of a two-dimensional convolution are given.

Two new methods have been developed to analyze for organic pollutants in water. The first, two-dimensional gas chromatography, using post detector peak recycling (PDPR), involves the use of a computer-controlled gas Chromatograph to selectively trap compounds of interest and rechromatograph them on a second column, recycling them through the same detector again. The second employs a new detector system, a thermally modulated electron capture detector (TMECD). Both methods were used to demonstrate their utility by applying them to the analysis of a new class of potentially ubiquitous anthropoaqueous pollutants in drinking waters- -haloacetonitriles. These newly identified compounds are produced from certain amino acids and other nitrogen-containing compounds reacting with chlorine during the disinfection stage of treatment.

Traditionally, the teaching and learning of algebra has been addressed at the beginning of secondary education with a methodological approach that broke traumatically into a mathematical universe until now represented by numbers, with bad consequences. It is important, then, to find methodological alternatives that allow the parallel development of arithmetical and algebraic thinking from the first years of learning. This article begins with a review of a series of theoretical foundations that support a methodological proposal based on the use of specific manipulative materials that foster a deep knowledge of the decimal number system, while verbalizing and representing quantitative situations that underline numerical relationships and properties and patterns of numbers. Developing and illustrating this approach is the main purpose of this paper. The proposal has been implemented in a group of 25 pupils in the first year of primary school. Some observed milestones are presented and analyzed. In the light of the results, this well-planned early intervention contains key elements to initiate algebraic thinking through the development of number sense, naturally enhancing the translation of purely arithmetical situations into the symbolic language characteristic of algebraic thinking.

The textbook examines the theoretical foundations of business process management of a modern enterprise, presents a practical approach to the identification, classification of processes and implementation of process management, which can be applied in practice in the activities of organizations in the context of innovation and digital transformation of business. At the end of the chapters, there are questions, test and practical tasks for the purpose of self-control on the development of the material. Meets the requirements of the federal state educational standards of higher education of the latest generation. It is recommended for use by teachers, undergraduate and graduate students and students of MBA programs studying in economic disciplines, management and management activities, as well as specialists of economic, consulting, innovation, and planning departments of enterprises.
