In order to select database managmeent tool (i.e., DBMS) for information system developed for Valjevo Business School, testing of two available options (i.e. MS SQL and MySQL) was performed. Instead of using available benchmark software, simple software to test features relevant to the system was developed. The tool was developed using the same technology as the school’s information system and was designed to test only relevant features. The aim was not to provide general evaluation of the tested DBMS but to evaluate specific features and to determine option more relevant for the specific situation and environment. This paper describes applied methodology and displays realized results. In the first part of the paper the technical and organizational foundation is described. Then there is a description of possible solutions to the problem with the justification of the applied methodology. The first step in realization of the research was to determine testing domain and investigation framework. The features and requirements of the technical environment are shown. The conceptual design and features as well as user interface and available options of the testing tool realized for the purpose of this research are described. Finally the results and conclusions are presented.

IIS*Case is an integrated CASE tool that supports the automation and intelligent support of complex and highly formalized design and programming tasks in the development of an information system. IIS*Case, as a tool from the class of domain oriented design environments, generates relational database schemas in 3rd normal form with all relevant data constraints. SQL Generator is an IIS*Case tool that generates the implementation specification of a database schema according to ANSI SQL:2003 standard. The generator may also produce a database schema specification for Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle DBMSs. The paper describes SQL Generator's traits, considers aspects of its application, and shows its use in the implementation of a complex database constraint using procedural mechanisms of a particular relational DBMS. SQL Generator is implemented in Java and Oracle JDeveloper environment.

When presented with an accounting information system based on a reliable system, it will certainly produce objective information as well. Inventory management and computerized goods reports are very beneficial for the company. J-Mart, which is a minimarket which still relies on Ms. So that data processing of reports cannot be fast and accurate. This study uses data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. This application is designed to use Visual Basic.Net with SQL Server as the database. The output result obtained from this system is the inventory report. With the creation of this inventory system, it is hoped that it can make it easier to carry out the process of recording inventory, avoid input errors and can streamline the time of inputting and counting stock items in the warehouse.

Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) is one of the e-catalog information technologies applied in libraries. OPAC is a library information retrieval system that can be accessed online. State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta has been using OPAC since 2012 and OPAC users are increasing from year to year. An information system will be used by users if it suits their needs. The successful implementation of OPAC raises questions about the factors that influence this success. For this reason, this study aims to determine the factors that influence users to use OPAC. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is a multivariate statistical technique which is a combination of factor analysis and regression analysis (correlation) which aims to examine the relationships between variables in a model. Processing using SEM will be carried out to find the relationship between the variables to be tested, which variables are interconnected, and are there any unrelated variables. The results of processing the variables using SEM can show what variables attract users to use the e-catalog. Acceptance of information systems can be measured by several evaluation models that have been developed at this time. There are many evaluation models used to measure. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is the appropriate model to use for this study, because this study is about the acceptance of a system. In addition, several previous studies used by researchers as references also used TAM as their study method to assess user acceptance of a system. This study modifies TAM, which is used to determine user acceptance of an information system, by adding three exogenous variables, information quality, perceived enjoyment, and user interface. Results of this study proved that information quality, user interface, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and behavioral intention to use, are all factors that influence the actual use of OPAC. Perceived enjoyment is a variable that cannot be proved affects the actual use of OPAC.

This paper deals with the basic structure of computers (hardware and software) and some of the software applications now offered by technology; these applications can make medical work easier. Some features of advanced software applications are presented here, such as expert systems, case-based reasoning technics, image management, and also call tracking systems and user interface systems. The aim of this paper is to offer an overall view of the opportunity of setting up an efficient information system inside a health structure.
