Air transport industry is one of the very important businesses worldwide. The global recession in the years 2008/2009 and regional economic crisis in the countries of Southeast Europe have caused domestic demand weakening for air travel. At the same time, high increase of competition on the air transport market in the period 2008-2016 made positive influence on flows of people, goods, capital, technology and ideas. State of the economy and air transport industry in the Southeast Europe countries has been analyzed in all-important segments including airlines, airports and air navigation services. Air transport regional market is still undeveloped with relatively weak connections within the region. Financial achievements for selected dominant airlines in the Southeast Europe region are showing negative result and questionable sustainability of the business models in the future. Analysis of air transport infrastructure within the Southeast Europe region shows relatively low level of performance indicators compared to 136 countries worldwide in the year 2017. Implementation of different restructuring measures and strategy improvements are necessary for the future surviving perspective of air transport Southeast Europe regional market.

Community detection in a complex network is an ongoing field. While the air transport network has gradually formed as a complex system, the topological and geographical characteristics of airline networks have become crucial in understanding the network dynamics and airports’ roles. This research tackles the highly interconnected parts in weighted codeshare networks. A dataset comprising ten major international airlines is selected to conduct a comparative analysis. The result confirms that the clique percolation method can be used in conjunction with other metrics to shed light on air transport network topology, recognizing patterns of inter- and intra-community connections. Moreover, the topological detection results are interpreted and explained from a transport geographical perspective, with the physical airline network structure. As complex as it may seem, the airline network tends to be a relatively small system with only a few high-order communities, which can be characterized by geographical constraints. This research also contributes to the literature by capturing new insights regarding the topological patterns of the air transport industry. Particularly, it reveals the wide hub-shifting phenomenon and the possibility of airlines with different business models sharing an identical topology profile.

The development of air transport industry in Indonesill will have impact on the national (llJUltionbusiness. The air transport is really needed to mave passengers and goods. At some airports cargoservices have been subjected to cargo service charge (CSC) to improve service and security. Theresearch used WfP (willingness to pmj) method through questionnaires and interoiews to 16 forwarderat Ngurah Rai Airport. The results of the study showed that the fonvarder willing (wi1lingnessto pmj) to pay cargo seruice charge with a range of value of Rp240, - to Rp395, - and 54.55% ofservice users to judge the level of service (level of service) provided biJ the management of cargo hasthe good criterill. It is recommended that the establishment of CSC refers to the futuring poliaJ tomake it enforceable and CSC's revenue at Ngurah Rai Airport can be used to imprave cargo services. Keywords: willingness to pay, Cargo Service Charge, forwarder
