A carbonyl compound-linked conjugated microporous polymer (PT-BTA) is synthesized and applied as an organic cathode material for lithium-ion batteries, which exhibits superior electrochemical performance and stability compared with the monomer (PT).

Here we synthesized a 2D π-conjugated microporous polymer NGA-CMP. Heated sample NGA-CMP400 is used for the first time as an anode for LIBs and shows high capacity lithium-ion storage with excellent cycle performance at high current density.
