The globalization of the modern economic system, the scarce nature of the resources used, the depressive and stagnant nature of the current processes, the increasing complexity of the geopolitical situation and the deterioration of the environmental situation, etc. predetermine a serious transformation of the functions of accounting services and the role of accounting in the modern management system. In these conditions, the need to study the impact of environmental factors on the nature of the enterprise activity and the mechanism for the development and adoption of managerial decisions are especially relevant. It is indisputable that the accounting organization system in a crisis situation should be different from its management in a sustainable development environment; this determines the need to improve managerial accounting methodology in conditions of unpredictability and instability of the external environment. An analysis of the specialized literature suggests that there are insufficient studies of many aspects concerning the methodological content of the anti-crisis model of managerial accounting, the construction of its categorical apparatus, and the provision of a managerial accounting model in crisis processes in the economy, etc., which predetermined the choice of the topic of our study.

ABSTRACT In this paper, I offer personal insights based on my experiences (thus far) in an evolving academic accounting career model. While I value all aspects of an academic career responsibilities (teaching, research, and service), this narrative focuses primarily on the role of accounting scholarship and, broadly, the impact of diversity on the same. I offer these perspectives and personal experiences from the unique vantage point as an African American woman, focused first on contributing to top-tired accounting scholarship, and more recently on roles as an administrator of an accounting department and business college. While my academic journey is unique by objective measures (often dubbed “trailblazing” by others), I offer suggestions that may be useful to any academic who is dedicated to success in our field. Given the evolving accounting model and challenges ahead, my overriding goal remains to encourage junior accounting colleagues to persevere, as an accounting academic career is richly rewarding.

The digital development of the economy opens up new horizons for accounting. On the one hand, dissolution of accounting in corporate management systems takes place, on the other hand, the accounting functions for managing economic information remain relevant. This article uses the accounting modeling method. We offer a five-blocks accounting model of the decision support system. The model is formed by such blocks as the interface for collecting primary data on company transactions in the context of the formation of financial, managerial, strategic accounting accounts, ETL (extract, transform, loading) of processes for combining credentials from various sources within the framework of a structured work plan of accounts; predicted accounting iterations, having a synergistic, reorganization, reorganization, immunization, hedging and other areas; express audit of the management decision, which consists in assessing the impact of the management decision on the effectiveness of the company, which includes such elements as tax and legal expertise; SWOT analysis; reporting visualization tools that allow you to generate different types of reporting: financial, managerial, statistical, not just in tabular form, but using digital visualization methods; accounting and analytical indicators of managerial decisions, which can be described as a system of indicators reflecting the financial and economic situation of the enterprise under the influence of managerial decisions; the state of its financial stability, profitability, solvency, liquidity; the size of the property of the founders. The introduction and use of this model will allow generating relevant accounting information based on the needs of management, supporting the adoption of management decisions at a scientifically sound level that meets the criteria of business efficiency and protect the interests of owners.

IntroductionUnderstanding of the role of contextual factors in determining the real value of health technologies is one of the major challenges for the use of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) methodology within hospitals. Moreover, the responsibility of assessing hospital performance is problematic. Although a number of managerial tools are available to appraise outcomes, there is little evidence on the role of contextual variables and how they might contribute to hospital performance.MethodsBased on three extensive literature reviews, a pragmatic framework has been developed to understand interactions between organizational factors and health technologies on hospitals’ performance. Three main causal relationships emerge: (i) direct relationship between contextual factors and performance; (ii) an effect of contextual factors on the capability of technologies to “produce value”; (iii) an influence of organizational factors on clinical evidence-based decision-making. This pragmatic framework was designed within the IMPACT HTA EU Horizon 2020 Research Project.ResultsThe contextual dimensions are ascribable to five domains: organizational structure; managerial accounting tools; information, communication and technology (ICT) tools; human resource management (HRM) tools; hospital-based HTA procedures. The impact of contextual factors on technologies’ ability to produce value is highly overlooked in literature. Some effort in this sense exists only in the analysis of health information technologies. Moreover, among the contextual dimensions, only HRM tools have inspired a lively debate. The definition of hospital performance is amenable to multiple domains: accessibility, appropriateness, efficiency, safety and patient centeredness (continuity of care).ConclusionsAlthough hospital performance is a pivotal topic in the healthcare sector, a deep understanding of how contextual factors may affect it is missing. The theoretical framework developed provides a tool to understand the multiple dimensions able to affect hospital performance. On one hand contextual dimensions may provide a direct effect on hospital performance. On the other, they may affect the extent to which technologies are capable of producing value.

The article terminates the author's series of publications on the impact of system of stereotypes of behaviour – "success formula" - on the development of phases of the life cycle of the socio-economic systems [7-11]. The author argues in favor of the view that lifecycle of any object of management is a complex spiral consisting of 10 phases, each of which, in turn, can be regarded as a separate life cycle. Because of the stereotypes of behaviour, prevailing during previous lifecycle phases, a change of lifecycle phases often leads to a crisis and is accompanied by painful correction of exchange proportions. The author motivates his conclusion that the modern economic crisis is caused by the distortion of exchange proportions. The indexes of changes in exchange proportions are proposed to use as an indicator of stability of the world market. Proposals on overcoming the crisis are made.

The concept of inclusive leadership tends to be understood from different perspectives and contexts. However, there is a consensus that inclusive leadership has proven to be one of the effective leadership styles for ensuring sustainable development. Clearly, this is embedded in the leaders’ ability to recognise bias, demonstrate an open mindset, and most importantly have the ability to acknowledge and empower others, especially those at sub-managerial level who are mostly in touch with the realities of policy implementation within an institution. While studies have proven the impactful role of middle-level management towards organisational performance, it was clear that the middle-level management at the universities are those set of leaders that are usually in full engagement with the university community including lecturers and students, thereby making them wholly responsible for the implementation of university policies at micro level. However, this class of leaders seems to be excluded or not fully recognised in deliberating and taking managerial decisions in the university leadership. Consequently, the intention of this paper is to critically conceptualised the six empirically acknowledged concepts of inclusive leaders and leadership framework by Bourke and Dillon which are courage, commitment, cognisance of bias, curiosity, cultural intelligence as well as collaboration and fully contextualised them in higher educational institutions with respect to straightening the relevance of middle-level management in leading universities.

The organization of current assets accounting and presentation of information about them in the financial statements of an enterprise is complicated by the uncertainty and constant changes in the legal acts. In order to accurately present the inventory accounting of the enterprise, the accountants should timely show the economic operations on the receipt and movement of current assets in the primary accounting documents. Taking into account the direction and documentary registration of operations on the receipt and retirement of stocks, we have developed the chart of inventory behaviour at the enterprise, which clearly shows the formation of information of the accounts. The analysis of the current assets presentation in the financial statement of the enterprise has been carried out, taking into account the impact of changes since the date of the entry into force of the National P(S)A No. 1 “General requirements to financial statements”.
