The role of marketing communications is to advance the bottom line and the public good – and not necessarily in that order. Giving back is an integral part of the New Normal. And there has never been a better tool to accomplish this mission than social media.But healthcare marketing –and particularly of the regulated variety --is between a rock and a hard place. On the one hand, marketers understand the importance and opportunity in social media. It’s where the people are. It’s where the action is. But then there are all those pesky regulatory concerns.As Walter O’Malley –the man who moved the Brooklyn Dodgers to Los Angeles once commented, “The future is just one damn thing after another.”

The foundation of periodicals in Turkestan during the Tsarist Russia, the role of Jadid journalists in disseminating information, the tasks of the press in Uzbekistan during the rule of Bolsheviks, the essence of authoritarian, totalitarian views (theories) on information and their consequences have been analyzed in the article. The item entitled “Short Stories from the Life of Russian Tsars, Local and Other Types of Information” pointed out in the charter of newspaper “Turkiston Viloyatining Gazeti” (Newspaper of Turkestan Region) is considered to be the first official source on the theory of authoritarian publications in the current research, with particular emphasis on peculiarities of highlighting the information provided in it. The newspaper reports, particularly, the events related to Dukchi Eshon’s rebellion in Andijan in 1898, being an important milestone in history, have been utilized for several purposes. The information on availability of inevitable severe punishment for those who tried to rebel against the Tsarist colonists and rewarding those who knew, felt, and reported or resisted those milestones has been studied as a rule of authoritarian theory. It has been proven in the article that Jadid publications of the early twentieth century (“Taraqqiy”, “Khurshid”, “Shuhrat”, “Samarkand”, “Turon”, “Sadoi Turkiston”, “Sadoi Fergana”, “Tujjor”, “Hurriyat”, “Najot” newspapers) were aimed at achieving independence by informing the oppressed people of the colony about various events taking place not only in Turkestan, but also around the world, as well as spreading enlightenment and development among the nation. The article analyzes the views of the enlightened (Jadid) journalists and editors on the dissemination of trustworthy information to the public as promoting the idea of freedom, their attitude towards information and their practice to our today’s national democratic journalism. The concealment of information as of the one of the flaws of the Soviet totalitarian theory of the press, the historical roots of the process, Bolshevik’s policy, the decree on the press signed by V.I. Ulyanov (Lenin); the press, which became a weapon of repression during Stalin’s time, the removal of providing breaking news in 70 years of totalitarian society, the repression of all journalists who acted in this way as they wanted to hide the actual information from the people in order to keep them in a state of fear, and the collapse of such a society have been closely studied.

<p>For the last two decades, social media has increasingly dominated our day to day interactions. We have evolved into digitized creatures able to communicate on a daily basis to a broad and varied audience, comprised of people we know, people we hardly know, and people we have never met. Through images, tweets, status updates and posts, everyone has an ability to view and harness a variety of opinions, emotions, stories and ideas at a moment’s notice. It’s in those instances when a person resonates with a certain moment or place they are in, that they create a narrative through a caption or a hashtag that’s attached to an image which allows everyone who views it to read a story of someone’s experience. This digital/virtual age poses new questions for interior architecture, a practice that generally orients itself in the realm of physical, built space. It is the intent of this research to offer a new kind of design approach, more relevant to our current digitized lives, to see what it might offer for urban interior speculations.  Through exploring ways of tapping into this narrative and ‘flipping the script’, we can explore a new kind of design tactic that brings forward the power that social media narratives can have on the built environment and interior strategies. The city of Los Angeles will be used as a testing grounds for narrative urban interior tactics, to see how it could offer the city whimsical and outlandish interventions that respond to the people currently interacting with certain sites in it. As a nod to George Orwell’s 1984 future speculations, this project is a counterpoint that offers an optimistic, open and free speculation tool by providing a constant dialogue between the public and designer through the forum of Instagram.  This project teases out the ideas that narrative can create instinctual, intuitive and thought-provoking designs that can be spectacles, attractors, events or counterparts that open up a potential to talk about interior in a new realm, where it can contribute on larger scales like the urban setting. Urban interior tactics provide outcomes that even in an exterior setting can still create moments of interiority around them as well as within them that bring together two conditions in a propositional manner as opposed to being opposites.  In order to translate the narratives into conceptual design outcomes, drawing and model making will be used as the primary exploratory tools. This offers the audience different means of perception to be gauged through putting it back out into the forum it was derived from, allowing for three final outcomes that respond more accurately to how people react to open narrative as a design tool.</p>

In this study, the author studies the role of Christian religious education in combating hoax on social media. This study begins with the author's empirical observation where these days hoax on social media becomes the main news that is endlessly discussed in public. As a result of many hoaxes on social media, there are many divisions between the people as expressed in this empirical study. If it is carefully observed that the main problem is not in the development of science and technology globally, but the problem is there are every person who uses the technology irresponsibly because humans are too spoiled with various facilities of technological sophistication so that there is no control when someone is free to express opinions in social media. Ironically this freedom is exploited to explore personal and group interests, without seeing the consequences of this dishonourable behaviour. By looking at these various facts, this study presents an effort to provide understanding and education to the public to participate in combating hoax on social media. The purpose of this study is to invite all Christians to contribute and care for the social problems that are troubling society today. Therefore it is time for the role of Christian Religion education to be applied through lifestyles by communicating honestly and get used to using ethics when surfing on social media. Tulisan ini merupakan kajian terhadap peran pendidikan agama kristen dalam memerangi berita hoaks di media sosial. Kajian ini berangkat dari pengamatan penulis secara empiris dimana hari-hari ini berita hoaks di media sosial menjadi berita utama yang tidak habisnya dibicarakan di publik. Akibat dari mewabahnya berita hoaks di media sosial maka tidak sedikit terjadinya perpecahan diantara masyarakat sebagaimana yang diungkapkan dalam tulisan ini seacara empiris. Jika diperhatikan dengan teliti bahwa unsur persolan sebenarnya bukan terletak pada perkembangan ilmu dan teknologi secara global, tetapi persoalannya adalah ada pada setiap oknum yang memanfaatkan teknologi tersebut karena manusia terlalu dimanjakan dengan berbagai fasilitas dari kecanggihan teknologi tersebut sehingga tidak ada kontrol ketika seseorang bebas mengeluarkan berpendapat di media sosial. Dengan melihat berbagai fonomena ini maka tulisan ini hadir sebagai upaya memberi pemahaman dan edukasi kepada masyarakatuntuk ikut berpatisipasi dalam memerangi berita hoaks di media sosial. Tujuan kajian ini mengajak seluruh umat Tuhan untuk berkontribusi dan peduli terhadap persolan-persoalan sosial yang sedang meresahkan masyarakat saat ini.

Islamic banks are present in the community as financial institutions whose activities are based on the principles of Islamic law for the benefit of the people. This study aims to determine the strategic role of Islamic Banks as financial service institutions, the importance of the existence of Islamic Banks and Islamic-based markets and financial instruments in them. In its development, Islamic banks have a role as institutions that turn on public funds, channel funds to the public, transfer assets, liquidity, reallocation of income and transactions. In the Indonesian economic system, the existence of Islamic Banks is important as an alternative solution to the problem of conflict between bank interest and usury. Islamic financial markets and instruments provide a free society of interest and follow a different set of principles. The covid-19 resulted in broad range of spread throughout the world in which India has also became a prey of it and in this situation the means of media is extensively inϑluencing the mentality of the people. Media always played a role of loop between society and sources of information. In this epidemic also media is playing a vital role in shaping the reaction in ϑirst place for both good and ill by providing important facts regarding symptoms of Corona virus, preventive measures against the virus and also how to deal with any suspect of disease to overcome covid-19. On the other hand, there are endless people who spread endless rumours overs social media and are adversely affecting life of people but we always count on media because they provide us with valuable answers to our questions, facts and everything in need. Media always remains on top of the line when it comes to stop the out spread of rumours which are surely dangerous kind of information for society. So on our side we should react fairly and maturely to handle the situation to keep it in the favour of humanity and help government not only to ϑight this pandemic but also the info emic.

Background: Chikungunya is a vector-borne disease, mostly present in tropical and subtropical regions. The virus is spread by Ae. aegypti and Ae. albopictus mosquitos and symptoms include high fever to severe joint pain. Dhaka, Bangladesh, suffered an outbreak of chikungunya in 2017 lasting from April to September. With the goal of reducing cases, social media was at the forefront during this outbreak and educated the public about symptoms, prevention, and control of the virus. Popular web-based sources such as the top dailies in Bangladesh, local news outlets, and Facebook spread awareness of the outbreak. Objective: This study sought to investigate the role of social and mainstream media during the chikungunya epidemic. The study objective was to determine if social media can improve awareness of and practice associated with reducing cases of chikungunya. Methods: We collected chikungunya-related information circulated from the top nine television channels in Dhaka, Bangladesh, airing from 1st April–20th August 2017. All the news published in the top six dailies in Bangladesh were also compiled. The 50 most viewed chikungunya-related Bengali videos were manually coded and analyzed. Other social media outlets, such as Facebook, were also analyzed to determine the number of chikungunya-related posts and responses to these posts. Results: Our study showed that media outlets were associated with reducing cases of chikungunya, indicating that media has the potential to impact future outbreaks of these alpha viruses. Each media outlet (e.g., web, television) had an impact on the human response to an individual’s healthcare during this outbreak. Conclusions: To prevent future outbreaks of chikungunya, media outlets and social media can be used to educate the public regarding prevention strategies such as encouraging safe travel, removing stagnant water sources, and assisting with tracking cases globally to determine where future outbreaks may occur.

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in an avalanche of information, much of it false or misleading. Social media posts with misleading or dangerous opinions and analyses are often amplified by celebrities and social media influencers; these posts have contributed substantially to this avalanche of information. An emerging force in this information infodemic is public physicians, doctors who view a public presence as a large segment of their mission. These physicians bring authority and real-world experience to the COVID-19 discussion. To investigate the role of public physicians, we interviewed a convenience cohort of physicians who have played a role in the infodemic. We asked the physicians about how their roles have changed, how their audience has changed, what role politics plays, and how they address misinformation. The physicians noted increased audience size with an increased focus on the pandemic. Most avoided confronting politics, but others found it unavoidable or that even if they tried to avoide it, it would be brought up by their audience. The physicians felt that confronting and correcting misinformation was a core part of their mission. Public physicians on social media are a new occurrence and are an important part of fighting online misinformation.

Foundations, as permanent funds established by a certain legal act, can serve manifold purposes, but often pursue charitable goals. As such, they play an important role for the public good. Therefore, states always had an interest in fostering foundations by providing a pertinent legal framework. In Austria, this topic has not yet been the focus of scholarship. Through this study some light is shed on the implementation of the law on foundations in the Habsburg Monarchy. It focuses on the role of the state and its legal system regarding the regulation and supervision of foundations from 1750 to 1918. This period is characterized by the sovereigns’ endeavor to regulate the position of foundations via extensive legislation. In particular, a system of oversight for foundations was created in order to guarantee the attainment of their charitable goals. In fact, this system prevailed until the end of the 20thcentury.
