the issue of the water crisis is rising day by day, due to global warming and other environmental effects. That is not only the issue for India, but it is also for the entire world. However, the solar-based water distillation plants are not much efficient but we can use this method for producing pure and drinkable water. In this paper, we proposed to design a solar water distillation plant using the single slop method. In addition to that for monitoring and measuring the performance of the distillation plant a data mining based prediction system is implemented. The experiments are performed on the real-world implemented single slop solar water distillation plant-based observations. The observations are collected using the IoT (Internet of things) device for each five-minute time difference for each sample collection. The data samples are collected between 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM for 7 days. Additionally by using the collected samples the data mining model is trained and tested on the prepared syntactic dataset. The experimental results demonstrate accurate predictions for the solar distillation water plant. After this implementation and system model, the future directions of the research are also provided.

70% of the earth is covered with water but not all the available water is drinking water. Among only 3-5% of water is drinkable. In addition of due to global environmental changes and effect of global warming researchers are motivated to find the alternative sources of water purification. In this context the water distillation plants are helpful for providing the pure drinkable water. The proposed work is an effort for designing the solar distillation plant. Among them double slop water treatment technique is efficient as compared to single slop water still plants. Therefore the proposed work is intended to design a double slop distillation plant. In addition of to monitor the plant performance a predictive technique using the liner regression is proposed. The proposed technique usages the temperature attributes and corresponding obtained distillated yield and instantaneous efficiency. According to the obtained experimental results the proposed technique found superior as compared to traditional predictive techniques.

Abstract:A computer model of cardiovascular control has been developed based on the response characteristics of cardiovascular control components derived from experiments in animals and humans. Results from the model were compared to those obtained experimentally in humans, and the similarities and differences were used to identify both the strengths and inadequacies of the concepts used to form the model. Findings were confirmatory of some concepts but contrary to some which are firmly held in the literature, indicating that understanding the complexity of cardiovascular control probably requires a combination of experiments and computer models which integrate multiple systems and allow for determination of sufficiency and necessity.

In the article, the electrical and thermal processes in the LED lamp with varied parameters are investigated. Voltage and current measurements on all LEDs of the luminaire are carried out in the nominal operating mode. The power allocated to each LED is determined. The calculation of the LED crystal temperature was carried out using the developed thermal LED model based on the results of the measurements and by using “Multisim” program. It has been established that the temperature of the crystals of individual LEDs in the luminaire differ significantly, which leads to unfavourable thermal conditions for them and an increased likelihood of premature failure.

Broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica), a popular vegetable crop, has one of the most exacting climatic and cultural requirements, which limit its commercial production to a few favored locations. A field experiment was conducted at Mizoram University, Tanhril, Mizoram during winter of 2013/2014 to find out the effect of time of sowing on plant performance and yield of broccoli. Six sowing time was done viz. 17 October (T1), 24 October (T2), 31 October (T3), 7 November (T4), 14 November (T5) and 21 November (T6) with plant spacing of 45cm x 45cm. Yield and yield contributing characters were significantly influenced by the planting time. Highest average weight of marketable curd per plant (199.20 g) was obtained from T2, whereas lowest average weight obtained from T6 (75 g). The influence of planting time also showed significant difference on the calculated yield (tonnes per hectare) of broccoli, in which T2 showed highest marketable yield of 9.83 t/ha.

Abstract A method for determining the effect of suspension dynamics on tire wear has been developed. Typical city cycle maneuvers are defined by instrumented vehicle testing and data in the form of forward velocities and steer angles are used as an input to an ADAMS computer model of the vehicle. A simulation of the maneuvers generates a tire's operating environment in the form of normal load, slip, and camber variations, which contain all the subtle effects of the vehicle's suspension, steering, and handling characteristics. A cyclic repetition of the tire's operating environment is constructed and used to control an MTS Flat-Trac machine. In this way, accelerated tire wear can be generated in the laboratory which is directly related to the design features of the vehicle's suspension and steering systems.
