The Organizing Power of Harmony in the Chinese Tradition of Thought

Early and later Confucians, known in Chinese as the “ruists” school of ancient origins, perceived the idea of “harmony” as a fundamental concept that lies at the basis of self-cultivation, society and governance. In modern times this idea still plays in one or another form a dominant note in Chinese politics and social life. The article attempts to search for causes of the significance of “harmony” by focusing on analyzing two pivotal Confucian texts compiled in the Han dynasty, namely, Records of Music [Yue ji 樂記] and Divination of Music [Yue wei 樂緯]. The analysis shows that ruists belonging to Zhou dynasty’s imperial class of music officials, gradually developed the aesthetics of music into a complex idea of "harmony" that contains the highest aesthetical way—“Dao”—which guides both the whole universe as well as the evolution of human society.

<p>Social life is an inevitable necessity for human beings and order, security and justice is required for social life. In this regard, everything that can be effective social life of for human beings should be seriously considered. Law is among these phenomena that people can benefit from social life in its light in addition to benefiting from their natural rights. Therefore, it can be said that the strength and cohesion of any society is paying attention to the law and obeying it. Obviously, this religion in order to convey its purpose should have a plan for them. Therefore, God, as the drafter of this religion sent the Quran to people which is full of solutions and values and a better life for them. In Islam and Quran, the condition of salvation and happiness of a society depends on adherence to God's laws and regulations in all facets and social arenas. The results of this study show that in the shadow of respecting law and order the possibility of planning, implementing and guiding in human society is done. A society can only be lawful by fulfilling God's commandments in Quran.</p>

Human dignity, and respect and commitment to it, is considered as one of fundamental principles of divine religions and international instruments on human rights. Benefit from valuable moral and theological virtues in order to provide of human growth and development exclusively is in the light of fundamental rights and the principle of preserving human dignity. Accordingly, today the concept of human rights and commitment to follow it in the international and national legal systems has a very important position. Rejection of all forms of exploitation humiliation and torture is one of the first underlying layer of human rights which known as negative human rights or social Don'ts. Although as the interpretation of the famous French philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau in the eighteenth century, human is born free but in the process of social life and adapting to social situations in different ways to be distracted from their pure nature. Countless people in the world today are subject to oppression, even are subject to varying degrees of slavery instances including humiliation and degradation and prostitution. This research attempts to analyze the irreparable consequences of this phenomenon on human society, and also to look beyond national and transnational criminal measures and policies on this phenomenon.

Al-Mu'tazilah is a portrait of the Egyptian society which lived at some point in time. As described by Thaha Husain in order to show the disparity in the social life of people who need assistance and attention from the government or the authorities. Although the society lived in modern times at that time, not few other inhabitants still remained in underdeveloped education and social life. Through his work Al-Mu'tazilah, Thaha Husain highlights a range of social dimensions of society. This is the central issue to be addressed in this study. To reveal this social dimension, the sociology of literature theory is used, which focuses on the discussion of the sociology of both the author and the literary works. Primary data relevant to the topic were examined using a qualitative method in order to obtain an objective and scientific analysis. After all course, this study is of interest to the academic community in particular, and to other communities. The benefits are to mimic the social attitudes that can be enforced in today's life. In addition, people may refrain from doing things which might harm the social environment, such as isolating someone from another society.

Huainanzi is both the honorific name of Liu An, the second king of Huainan and the title of the philosophical work for which he was responsible. The most important surviving text of the academy he established at his court, it consists of twenty-one essays that form a compendium of knowledge the Daoist ruler needs to govern effectively. In this work, the universe is a well-ordered, dynamic and interrelated whole, interfused by the unifying principle of the dao, that develops according to patterns and processes comprehensible to self-realized human beings. The ruler must cultivate himself fully so that he comprehends these patterns and processes and must establish human society in harmony with them. Embracing the best ideas of earlier philosophers within a Daoist framework, the Huainanzi represents the fullest flowering of the Huang–Lao thought that dominated the early Han dynasty.

Social life including economic life should evolve in harmony with live world ecology. The economy, as human society product should harmonize with the exigencies of “the health of whole living entity”. However, the realities of the present lived at local and global level reveal: inhuman social inequalities, frustrating consumerism, systemic pollution, poverty in the middle abundance, science without humanism, wealth without honest work etc. generated by negative human behaviors. The transition towards healthy development defined by the win-win principle, assumes that everything healthy for the natural environment is also healthy for man-created environment. This complex and long process is based on the re-spiritualization of the current educational model based on skills with the educational model in the cause of life.

The article comprehensively investigates the phenomenon of play and its relationship with cultural and social categories such as ritual, ritual, customs, and traditions based on folklore and ethnographic materials of the Kazakh and Turkic peoples. Game culture as the most active means of cultural and social interaction in society, deeply rooted in all spheres of human life, is an integral element of the development of modern society. Folk customs and traditions are reflected in religion, arts, crafts, politics, science, military sports games, education, upbringing, economics, and entrepreneurship. The game, reflected in public life, affects socio-cultural activity, diversity in diversity, the transformation of concepts, and the future development of society. The article defines the ontological meaning and archetypal basis of the interaction of games and socio-cultural processes of our time, identifies the general attributes and originality of games. The manifestation of ancient beliefs in the games of a shaman is illustrated, their role in a specific ritual is revealed, the integration of play elements in the ritual complex, the versatility of the shaman's personality, the relationship between play elements and rituals are traced. The origins of the gaming culture go back to ancient beliefs, magic, cults, family rituals. For example, the youth games "Shivering Baba Baba", "White Storm" and "Hand Trap" recreate the opposition of winter and summer, old and new, young, the relationship between a girl and a boy. Mostly "summer", "new" and "young", "guy" win and win. These game elements, which were once an integral part of the ritual complex, were later combined and separated into a separate game. Each subsequent time they deviate from the original ritual. This tendency can be traced in many national games, the origin of which dates to the period of ritual folklore. The game "Kokpar", extremely popular among the Turkic peoples, is a national equestrian game. The name of the game comes from the "blue wolf" totem. The author of the article conclusively states that during a long hunt, a young man kidnapped a killed (wounded) wolf, the other participants in the game tried to catch him. As a result of the study, it is important to conclude that ritual and play are multifunctional, multilingual, differ not only in their symbolism, but also in how beliefs, religious motives and everyday life are reflected in them. Their ontological, epistemological, and axiological significance and ambivalence are great. The game has always been and remains a universal way of interacting with reality. Traditional ceremonies, games and holidays reflect the cultural component of the people, reveal the nature of the world. The game promotes cultural and moral priorities in the social environment, stereotypes related to age, gender, profession. Today, the game goes beyond the strictly limited framework of traditional ethnocultural phenomena, reflecting the socio-cultural situation, the system of relations and values, changes in human consciousness in the postmodern era. The game is cosmopolitan, sometimes artificial. The game culture, thus, is undergoing radical changes and is experiencing a crisis, which actualizes the need to increase moral values, moral foundations, preservation of the historical roots, and socio-communicative potential of the game culture. This, in turn, contributes to the stability and vitality of human and social life. When studying human society, Karl Marx affirmed that all changes in social life, in the end, originate from the transformation of the productive forces. The development of productive forces is expressed through the conquest of the nature of men. Productive forces reflect the actual capability of men in the process of creating wealth for society and ensuring human development. In any society, in order to create wealth, both workers and means of production are needed. Without instruments for the labor process, men cannot create wealth. That development provides us with more convincing practical evidence to continue affirming Karl Marx’s precise view of the productive forces, and at the same time requires us to supplement and develop his view on this issue inconsistent with reality. In the current context of globalization and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, it is essential to clarify all the practical capabilities used in the production process of the society over the world’s development periods to promote social development. Therefore, this article clarifies the basic arguments to analyze Karl Marx’s view on the productive forces and see the need to refresh and supplement Karl Marx’s theory in the current situation.

Throughout in the history, women have been made significant contribution towards the growth, development and sustainability of human society as a whole. Women constitute almost half of the population in the world. However, their enjoyment of rights equally with that of men is far from satisfactory. In every society from ancient to modern times, women are considered as the property of men to serve their interest in both society and domestic front. The position of women always plays a significant role in the growth and development of any society in the world. Assam is a land of numerous tribes having different ethnic and linguistic background since the time immemorial. Among them, the Bodo/Boro are numerically and sociologically one of the most important aboriginal tribes in Assam. Role of Bodo women were confined to her being a wife and a mother as has been depicted in the inscriptions. Yet the historiography on that period confined the study the Status of Bodo women in her society in a various concern areas. The paper is made a humble attempt to highlight the importance of the status of Bodo women or their normal position in the field of socio-cultural, economic, and religious perceptions in the society in the colonial period.
