Background: The study and revision of postgraduates syllabus are very important aspects to promote the level of effectiveness of postgraduates' educations. Owing to the requirement of syllabus reform, especially when the speed of useful life of information in the world is less than a decade, it is a serious aspect for the educational programmers. Objectives: This study aimed to determine the view of biostatistics graduates on the syllabus of the courses, the achievement of learning aims, job requirements, and understanding their educational problems. Methods: The number of graduates was 245 in the levels of Master of Science (MSc) and PhD of biostatistics from Tehran, Iran, Shahid Beheshti, Tarbiat Modares University of Medical Sciences, and University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences. The participants were graduated from 2011 to 2020. The data were collected by a questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS software. Results: Of PhD and MSc graduates, 48 (57.1%) and 70 (43.5%) participants declared, respectively, that they received the necessary theoretical and practical skills that they needed for their job. Also, clinical trial courses in both MSc and PhD periods were chosen by the graduates as the most significant courses, and one of the most applied courses in job requirements. Furthermore, statistical methods at MSc level and longitudinal data analysis at PhD level were chosen as the next important courses by the graduates, respectively. Conclusions: The findings show that the syllabus meets less than half of the graduates' job requirements, so it is not enough and is necessary to reform the contents of educational programs according to their job requirements.

The most unexpected pandemic global outbreak is COVID 19 which is a newly discovered viral infection which originated in Wuhan, China and it caused the outbreak of pneumonia in the rest of the world. Dental practitioners are more susceptible to COVID 19 infection as their work is related to the aerosol formation during various procedures through which the virus spreads. The aim of the study is to create awareness about precautionary measures against COVID- 19 exposure among dental practitioners in Tamilnadu. A Survey based questionnaire was formulated with questions related to the various precautionary measures to be adopted by dental practitioners which would be effective to prevent Covid-19 exposure. A questionnaire with a total of 20 questions was circulated among dental practitioners and the responses were collected by google forms SPSS software statistical analysis was done. The overall awareness of dental practitioners against Covid-19 was above average. The dental practitioners were relatively well aware of the precautions to be adopted while treating the patients, but the implementation in practice is lacking due absence of hands-on experience in using various kinds of PPE. There is a gap between knowledge and attitude and practice among the participants of this survey. It is therefore essential to plan for organising training sessions and hands-on workshops for the use of PPE and public training of the general population regarding Covid-19 to improve the knowledge among the patients visiting the dental clinic as well.

UNSTRUCTURED Utilizing an electronic portfolio (e-portfolio) is an effective means of enhancing the learning experience in educational settings. In the present study an e-portfolio framework was designed for medical education at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. The objective was to assess learning progress in a medical course that provides instructor feedback via e-portfolio and promotes self-reflection among the students. The results indicate that using e-portfolio stimulates self-reflection in students and increases their active participation in the learning process. Integrating e-portfolios in educational programs can remarkably improve the academic performance in the fields of medicine and healthcare.

The competences for the International Accreditation of the Educational Programs in Computing and Information Technologies is addressed. Based on the fundamentals, we move through the academic programs and some accrediting bodies taking as their axis, in both cases, the competences until their identification in the international scenario within the framework of the Seoul Accord. As it is known, the development of competences focuses on specific situations and problems, which is why a teaching by competences provides the opportunity to ensure that learning is acquired in a timely and accurate manner, in terms of personal, academic and social significance. In all cases, the concept of competence indicates both the process and the learning outcomes, which will be the spearhead to apply the skills in the world.

The global program to eliminate Lymphatic Filariasis created by The World Health organization in 1997 is based on mass administration of single annual doses of diethylcarbamazine ( DEC) plus albendazole in non African regions and of albendazole plus ivermectin in Africa. The usual side effects of DEC treatment include fever, chills, arthralgia, headaches, nausea, and vomiting. Albendazole is associated with relatively few side effects consisting of occasional nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, headache, reversible alopecia, elevated aminotransferases and rarely leucopenia and rash. We report a case of polyneuropathy in a young individual following DEC and albendazole during mass drug administration. Keywords: Albendazole; DEC; Polyneuropathy. This study aimed to compare the efficacy of rituximab versus Cyclophosphamide on active secondary progressive multiple sclerosis (SPMS). The randomized clinical trial was performed from 2015 to 2017 in multiple sclerosis (MS) clinics affiliated to Isfahan MS society (IMSS). Patients were randomized to two groups, and one of them received Rituximab that was repeated every six months in case of medical indication. The other one received a monthly pulse of methylprednisolone plus cyclophosphamide (Endoxan, Baxter, UK) until two years. Expanded disabilities status scale (EDSS), clinical, and MRI findings were assessed every six months. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS software. 39 patients in the Rituximab group and 30 in the Cyclophosphamide group with similar age and gender distribution were entered for analysis. At baseline, the mean number of attacks in the Rituximab group was significantly more than the Cyclophosphamide group (P=0.0001). After 6, 12, and 18 months of treatment, the rate of attacks was similar between groups although it increased significantly in the Rituximab group (P=0.030) after 24 months of treatment. EDSS was increased in the Rituximab group more than the other group at the end of the study. Both drugs were well-tolerated by patients. The EDSS was increased in the Rituximab group but the disability score did not worsen in the Cyclophosphamide group. Both therapies were associated with a reduction in disease attacks and improvement in radiologic findings in a two-year period of follow-up. © 2019 Tehran University of Medical Sciences. To face free trade, Indonesia's antivirus software industry must be able toknow its position in the minds of consumers, especially domestic consumers. In this research, Smadav will representthe antivirus software industry from Indonesia. In this research want to know how the position of smadav comparedwith its current competitors, namely Avast, Avira, AVG, Kaspersky, McAfee and Norton. This research is only done tomap antivirus software based on similarity according to respondent's perception. This research uses Multidimensionalscaling (MDS) method through SPSS software program version 23. The results showed that there are three groups ofdifferent antivirus software based on similarity level according to the respondent's perception. On the two-dimensionaland three-dimensional maps Norton antivirus software, Avast and Avira have similar resemblance according to therespondent's perception, because the location is closest and is in the same quadrant. Smadav differs according toperceptions of respondents. AVG, McAfee and Kaspersky have similarities according to respondents' perceptions.
