: The most common tachyarrhythmias in fetal cases is supraventricular tachycardia (SVT); atrioventricular nodal re-entrant tachycardia (AVNRT) type. Premature delivery, neonatal complications, and mortality following fetal SVT are high, and therefore, require proper management. Hereby, we introduce an AVNRT that was diagnosed in the fetus and adenosine infusion, and propranolol tablets were initially administered, but arrhythmia was not controlled; eventually, the tachycardia was controlled with flecainide tablets. She was discharged with the prescription of propranolol and flecainide tablets. She is currently 18 months old and under follow-up.

Introduction: Electrical burns range from 4 to 7 % of the total burn accidents and many of them affect primarily children biting on a live wire. Great confusion exists in the literature about the proper management of electrical burns to the mouth in the acute and late phases. Case report: 14 year results are shown in a severe electrical burn sustained in a 1 year 2 months old girl, involving 90% of the lips and commissures, tongue, alveolar ridges and teeth (primary central incisors and permanent dental germs). Two weeks after she was out danger, an active splint expansion device was built and used for 8 months to prevent secondary microstomia. Later, a new active splint device was used for a year after lip plastic surgery. At age 13, orthopedics and orthodontics were accomplished with a lip tattoo completed at age 15. Conclusion: No matter how good the final esthetic and occlusal results are, prevention is always the best option.

Perforation is a procedural accident that occurs during root canal treatment, creating an artificial communication between the root canal and the supporting periodontal apparatus. Iatrogenic root perforation is a major complication of endodontic and restorative treatments, leading to impairment of tooth prognosis. Successful management of root perforations is dependent on early diagnosis of the defect, location of the perforation, choice of treatment, materials used, host response, and the experience of the practitioner. This case report presents the successful management of an iatrogenic lateral root perforation in a tooth with radiographic evidence of periodontal healing over one year follow-up.

The interrelationship between pulpal and periodontal disease primarily occurs through the intimate anatomic and vascular connections between the pulp and the periodontium. The purpose of this case report is to present the treatment of two cases of mandibular first molars displaying endodontic-periodontal lesions with and without the use of regenerative bone techniques. The endodontic treatments were performed under an operating microscope in two appointments. Later, periodontal therapy was performed with a non-surgical approach in one case and with guided bone regeneration in the other. A 12-month radiographic and clinical follow-up showed periapical and periodontal healing in both cases. The present case report demonstrates that an interdisciplinary approach can help improve the prognosis and maintain natural dentition. Moreover, periodontal regenerative therapy can be performed to guide the wound healing towards the regeneration of lost periodontal structures.

Aim: Epidural anaesthesia which is preferred in most of the prolonged and painful procedures can be dreadful when the catheter breaks inside. In this case report we report accidental breakage of epidural catheter and its successful management. Presentation of Case: 47 year old male patient was posted for arthroscopic Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and Posterior Cruciate Ligament (PCL) repair under spinal and epidural anesthesia. Epidural catheter got sheared while securing it. It was managed by surgical removal to avoid further complications. Discussion: There are different causes for epidural catheter breakage including technical error and manufacture error. Catheter should be checked for any manufacturing defect or kinking. If there is resistant while inserting the catheter careful removal of catheter along with the needle should be performed to avoid breakage of catheter. Conclusion: Epidural catheter breakage can be disastrous for any anaesthesiologist, so it is important to be vigilant while securing epidural catheter. If accidentally epidural catheter is retained it should be discussed with the patient and surgeons, and it is either removed since it is a foreign body or if left in situ. Serial follow-up for any neurological symptoms should be done.

AbstractSuccessful management of furcation perforations poses a challenge for a clinician. The perforation can result from iatrogenic causes, caries or resorption. It is advisable to repair the perforation as soon as it is identified, since any delay allows the bacterial ingress leading to a complicated endodontic–periodontal lesion and ultimately in the treatment failure. This case report describes successful management of a furcal perforation in a mandibular first molar, which was repaired using Biodentine. The endodontic treatment was completed and the tooth was coronally restored with composite followed by full coverage restoration. Two years follow up of the case showing absence of pain; periradicular healing of the lesion, along with functional tooth stability indicated a successful outcome of endodontic treatment and sealing the perforation using Biodentine.
