According to the standards of higher education, a graduate of a pedagogical university is obliged to conduct a pedagogical study and draw it up in the text of the final qualification work. However, analysis of the works shows that for many future teachers, writing a scientific text causes significant difficulty. The questionnaire revealed typical difficulties and reasons for their occurrence, which are due, on the one hand, to the lack of experience in writing in the process of studying vocational training disciplines. On the other hand, it is not the willingness of students to reflect on the process of speech activity and its products, and also not to own ways of organizing independent work. Typical mistakes in the creation of the text of the graduation work were revealed: the lack of a communicative task, the lack of compliance with the logic and relationship of parts of the text, the inclusion of unprocessed materials from primary sources, the lack of own judgment on the topic being studied. Directions in teaching written scientific speech in the preparation process at the university are indicated: inclusion of tasks in all disciplines of training, programs of pedagogical practices involving writing a text of a scientific style, the use of educational technologies focusing on the use of written text as a result of training. It is concluded that training in the writing of the text of the final qualification work involves the consistent involvement of students in the mastery of the culture of written scientific speech, as well as the experience of the research activity of the teacher.

The present work aims to describe the process of training teachers in the municipal teaching network of a city in the state of Pará in the development of digital games through the Scratch platform as an instrument for learning ludification, allowing teachers to enhance the skills and competences of their students in an interactive and enjoyable way. This action made it possible for teachers who did not use computer tools in the classroom to incorporate games of their own authorship and of a regional context in their pedagogical practices. As an initial result of the Extentionist project, it was possible to generate a portfolio of eight educational games, demonstrating the importance of games education as a tool for guiding new educational technologies necessary to leverage learning in elementary schools in the interior of the State of Pará.

Teaching online in higher education is a complex integration of educational technologies, good pedagogical practices, and content knowledge.  Concerns and resistance by instructors may be fueled by lack ofunderstanding and resources, to which faculty administration can respond with targeted, ongoing communication and education.  A faculty intranet initiative within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta was created to support instructors amidst their efforts to prepare and deliver online, remote versions of their courses for the Fall 2020 term.  The intranet infrastructure was well-suited for the relevant, timely, and tailored digital resources specific to engineering content and circumstances.  Beyond the COVID-19 pandemic, it is intended for the intranet to grow into a collaborative virtual space where users can share their knowledge, experience, and insights to build a community of practice.

The article aims to give visibility to discussions on inclusion in the interdisciplinary context from the Universal Design for learning-DUA and its technologies in the actions developed under the International Project on Multiformat/ Multisensory Books from a scientific exchange between Brazil and Portugal with financial support from CAPES. The qualitative study (Martins, 2004), of a bibliographic nature with a methodological framework for reviewing the literature and the current educational legislation, including the Brazilian laws and guidelines, CF/88, LDB/96 (Brazil, 1988, 1996, 2008, 2015) , Guidelines of the Ministry of Education of Portugal- Decree-Law No. 54/2018 and international guidelines such as Unesco (1990, 1994, 2000, 2016) and UN (2015). The theoretical backing is based on the studies of Alves, Ribeiro & Simões (2013); Castelini & Quaresma da Silva (2018); Freire (1987); Gatti (2011); Nunes & Madureira (2015); Rapp (2014); Sousa (2012, 2018); Yunes (1995); and others. We found that the DUA approach and its technologies are facilitating resources for inclusion, because they promote affordable and inexpensive pedagogical practices that use different educational technologies. Actions developed in the project were socialized that allow the expansion of access to reading with more flexible and personalized approaches, making it possible to adapt them according to the educational context.

This study explores Habermas’s work in terms of the relevance of his theory of the public sphere to the politics and poetics of the Arab oral tradition and its pedagogical practices. In what ways and forms does Arab heritage inform a public sphere of resistance or dissent? How does Habermas’s notion of the public space help or hinder a better understanding of the Arab oral tradition within the sociopolitical and educational landscape of the Arabic-speaking world? This study also explores the pedagogical implications of teaching Arab orality within the context of the public sphere as a contested site that informs a mode of resistance against social inequality and sociopolitical exclusions.

The purpose of this presentation is to show elements associated to the study and analysis of pedagogical practices used by mathematics teachers, taking into consideration different approaches and conceptions derived from theories related to the role of the math teacher. The project highlights the need to use different strategies to analyze the processes occurring in the activities and tasks organized and implemented by the teacher. One of the main tasks in teacher training is to promote the capacity to noticing on the pedagogical activity, where noticing is understood as an inherent process to improve the quality of classroom management. In addition, different analysis models should be compared using examples and experiential practices and the different theories and research projects developed in this field related to this type of analysis. Knowing what happens in the classroom is a task inherent to the math teacher. For sure, if the teacher does not understand or is even able to perceive what is happening in the class, improvement actions are very difficult to implement. Consequently, math teachers must develop the capability of analyzing their pedagogical activity and the related elements. It is not about isolating variables and looking for causal relationships, but rather about understanding the teacher’s activity as the center of the multiple situations occurring in the classroom, which may be known more in depth, if the attention is focused on the organization, ordering, and execution of the tasks planned by the teacher. It must also be understood that the competence of analyzing mentioned here is not an isolated activity without an effect. Such analysis must be approached from an active perspective where scenarios are generated to mitigate complex situations or to value an approach different than the one happening in the classroom. Being aware that there are many aspects to analyze (most likely almost everything that happens is analyzable), we must take a stand on which situations are highly related to what happens in our classroom and which could eventually happen. With such a wide spectrum, some questions that need to be addressed are: What is important in the math education activity and who defines what is important? What elements are of interest to math teachers? How does the analysis conducted relate to the different models of the teacher's knowledge? How does our previous experience influence the assessments we make? How do we distinguish elements of interest to analysis? What is the relationship between reflecting and analyzing? At what stages of the teacher’s activity is an analysis required? What is the ultimate purpose of analyzing teaching activities? What competencies or skills are related to the analysis? What types of analysis are appropriate (content, cognitive, media, among others)? How can we balance the actions derived from the analyses we conduct? From all these questions the most important one that can guide the study of this reflection would be: What should be assessed in pedagogical activities and what is the objective of analyzing such pedagogical activities in math education?
