Abstract This paper researches on the hydraulic servo system by using ordinary on-off valves. The mathematic model of an asymmetric hydraulic cylinder servo control system is built, and its characteristic is analysed here. To reduce the static and dynamic characteristic differences between forward and reverse motion of asymmetric cylinder, and improve system’s performance, a self-tuning linear quadratic gaussian optimum controller (SLQG) is designed successful. In the end, an asymmetric hydraulic cylinder servo system of paint robot is researched. The result shows that the above method is effective.

This thesis is according to the pitching part of airborne radar servo system. The electromechanical coupling model and optimization model which includes structure parameters and control parameters are built up based on model of mechanism transmission system and electricity control system. The dynamics model of mechanism transmission system includes the nonlinearity of backlash and is considered the influence of parameters for dynamics properties in structure of the mechanism transmission system. The method of integrated structure and control design is applied on the optimization model using GA. Simulation is done based on MATLAB/SIMULINK. Simulation results show that the method of integrated structure and control design is feasible and effective in servo system.

Feed Unit

Positioning accuracy of servo feed unit makes an important effect to processing precision in CNC machine tools. The effects in positioning accuracy mainly are the precisions of mechanism and servo system. And the actions of tuning controller gains should directly affect the servo system precision. This paper, a servo system model and its P/PI controller has been formulated and simulated, using an AC servo feed unit as a tested. Through tuning gains of P/PI controller, analyses and control the effects for the feed unit positioning accuracy. Ultimately, experiments have been carried out to test feed unit by laser interferometer. Its shows that tuning gains of P/PI controller, which given in paper, has effectively improved the positioning accuracy of servo feed unit.

A type of pneumatic force servo system is discussed in this paper. In this system, output pressure depends on pressure difference between two chambers of cylinder; by controlling pilot-operated reducing valve will get different cylinder chamber pressure. Dynamic mathematical model and control Strategy of this system is founded in this paper. By mathematical model and control Strategy, the digital simulation results show how system performance with different gas source pressure and rodless cavity size..
