Product quality control is an important factor for the industrial world because good quality control and carried out continuously will be able to detect abnormal production results quickly, so that anticipatory action can be taken immediately. Quality is a major factor in consumer decision making before buying goods / services. The problem that occurs at this time in manufacturing companies in Indonesia is how the statistical quality control process can be applied properly. The purpose of this statistical analysis is to find out the statistical quality control process that is applied to manufacturing companies in Indonesia using bivariate control charts with copula. Copula is a function that combines a multivariate distribution function with a uniform one-dimensional marginal distribution function, in this condition the Copula used is the Archimedean Copula group. The method used in this data collection is a simple random sampling with the sample used are three manufacturing companies in Indonesia which covers the areas of Jakarta, Bandung and Makassar. The implementation of Copula in this control chart results in Frank Copula being the best Copula, this supports that the use of Copula in the quality control process has a good role

Abstract : Quality control of production is an important thing that must be done by manufacturing companies to be able to produce products in accordance with customer orders. Quality Control (QC) is the department that is responsible for maintaining the quality of the products produced in accordance with predetermined standards. This research was conducted at PT Megah Mas Prima, currently the company still uses conventional methods in the process of creating reports on the results of printing and embossed production. The process of entering the recapitulation data of QC results using Microsoft Excel application, this is very difficult for QC staff because there are many criteria and material codes that must be entered so that the process of making reports requires quite a long time and the level of human error is also high. This research has produced an information system that can assist quality control staff in entering QC data, create QC reporting and accelerate the process of delivering data to QC managers and to other parties who need it.

The concept of quality has gained increasing importance over the last decades. Regarding the production process of a company, the quality control implementation allows companies to offer a higher quality product, which has positive influence on customer satisfaction. This paper aims to reflect the importance of statistical methods for quality control. Based on the two broad areas of statistical inference, parameter estimation and hypothesis testing, we demonstrate the usefulness of such methods in problem solving when the proportion of defective items is considered.

In the railway sector, on the prototyping phase of product made by composite materials, it is necessary the implementation of a strict quality control using the instrument First Article Inpection (FAI). In this paper some of the most important steps in quality control implementation of FAI for composite parts at the prototyping parts made of composite materials in the railway field are presented. Thus, the necessary steps for developing FAI and the process diagram are given. Also, the method FMEA process is presented in order to eliminate the risks of errors and defects during the development of the technological process for obtaining the composite piece.

The issues of robotization of dairy cattle feeding and fodder quality control with the use of Fourier spectrum analyzers have been discussed. Feeding systems by different manufacturing companies have been studied in detail.  Differences in design of robots and their operating principles have been found. Self-propelled robots equipped with devices for loading feed ingredients eliminate the need for additional utility space and a number of devices for weighing and loading feed. Robotic feed pushers and constructive differences between them have been studied. These robots have 2 types of working bodies: a screw conveyor and a rotating body. The issue of fodder quality control has been discussed. Carrying out an analysis of the Russian market of analytical devices for an express-analysis of fodder quality, the authors have found two Italian companies, specializing in the production of such devices. It has been established, that express-analyzers operate on the principle of spectrometry and allow for assessing 7 nutritiousness parameters of feed: the content of dry matter, crude protein, crude fat, starch, ash, acid-detergent and neutral-detergent fiber. The data from the devices can be saved to a flash drive. Their use allows for a faster solution of cow diet optimization problem, and also for the use of analyzers in fodder harvesting in order to observe changes in newly stored feed.

Kaizen is a Japanese culture that means continuing to improve and improve quality in the workplace. This culture is applied by many Japanese companies in the world, especially manufacturing companies. ISO 9001 is a quality management control system (Total Quality Management / TQM) issued by the Internatinal Organization for Standardization. ISO 9001 emphasizes for organizations starting from top management to lower level in carrying out continuous improvement and improvement of work quality. The auxiliary tool used in this research is Quality Control Circle (QCC) which uses the PDCA concept and 7 tools. The QCC method is a method that can be used to control product quality and reduce the number of defective products. The results of this study are that the Kaizen work culture has not run effectively even though the impact on productivity and employee performance is very influential and from the results of this QCC it is evident that with the change in the new Operational Procedure Standards it can reduce the total percentage of defective goods compared to the previous periodKeywords: Kaizen, ISO 9001, Total Quality Management, PDCA, 7 Tools, Quality Control Circle
