Marine environment provides a basic space for human survival and social sustainable development. The study of tribological problems and mechanism of marine engineering materials in the sea extreme environment has become one of key technologies to be developed urgently in the field of marine engineering. This review summarizes and analyzes the tribological research of key friction materials in marine environment, focuses on tribological properties of ceramic, polymer and metal, emphatically introduces the current situation and development trend of tribological research in marine environment, such as metal and metal pairs, ceramics and metal pairs, polymers and metal pairs, polymers and ceramic pairs, and aims to provide a tutorial reference for the selection and application of friction pairs of marine engineering equipment.

A monitoring system used in marine sink-float safety device is introduced. The ARM Cortex-M3 is the core of microcontroller in this system, and the hardware and software architectures of the monitoring system are designed. The designed monitoring system can multi-point monitor marine environment around sink-float safety device, by doing this, the safety device can take marine equipment to escape from harsh marine environment by submerging a certain depth. So we can make sure marine equipment safe and normal. The experimental results show that the sink-float safety device can work normally in the harsh marine environment with the monitoring system. The acquisition of multi-point environment monitor as well as data management is achieved effectively. The reliability and safety of equipment are guaranteed by the sink-float safety device.

Small marine equipment works in the marine environment which are enduring the erosion of the big storms over a long period of time , this environment seriously affects the normal operation life. Designing a secure system can be widely used in the working process of small marine engineering equipment, the security system mainly uses sinking buoy as floaters which can sink and float in the sea. When bad weather comes, the system is sinking by the buoys to drive the marine equipment to avoid the adverse environment. Analyzing the stress of the secure system in water by using hydromechanics knowledge can improve the feasibility of design further, to ensure stable operation of secure system for the small marine equipment.

With the over-exploitation of global resources and the increasing cost of developing land resources, marine resources have become the new choice for coastal countries to address resource problems. The development and utilization of marine resources encourages the growing of marine engineering equipment manufacturing industry. In this paper, we take Guangdong Province as the studied area, which has a natural advantage for the development of shipping and marine equipment industry, applying the mainstream industry competitive advantage theory – “diamond model” to build evaluation index system. And we calculate combining weights by AHP and variation coefficient method, as well as giving a comprehensive evaluation from the perspective of quantitative analysis for development of marine engineering equipment manufacturing industry in Guangdong Province. The results show that although Guangdong marine engineering equipment manufacturing industry achieves rapid development in recent years, the total scale amount of industry is small, shipbuilding industry development is slow, and professional technical personnel is inadequate. For these problems, this paper provides some suggestions for marine equipment manufacturing industry in Guangdong Province.

In recent years, 5G photonic technology has gradually gained increased attention from scholars. However, studies on 5G photonic technology have mostly focused on technological discussions or market development research, but have failed to identify the relevant key technologies from a comprehensive perspective. In particular, 5G photonic technology is an interdisciplinary technology that could create considerable potential business opportunities in the future, therefore, identifying related key technologies is crucial. Accordingly, the patents of 5G photonic technologies were used as the basis for analysis in this study, and a patent technology network for such technologies was constructed using network analysis. The results showed that the key technologies of 5G photonic technology are mainly related to optics, nanostructures, semiconductors, and material analysis, indicating an interdisciplinary feature instead of focusing only on one specific technological field. Additionally, the relevant technologies that have seen active development in recent years are mainly related to optical elements and semiconductor devices. Finally, a patentee analysis demonstrated that information technology companies were the key players in the development of 5G photonic technologies, and the semiconductor industry will have a crucial role in the development of such technologies. In this study, a patent technology network model was constructed to explore the development trend of 5G photonic technologies, thereby providing a reference for the government to promote these emerging technologies.

Marine fishery is an important part of China’s economic development. Marine fishery is not only related to the development of marine economy, but also the marine ecological environment. It is very important to promote the competitiveness of marine fisheries, protect marine ecology, and explore the sustainable development of marine fisheries. In this regard, this article analyzes the development trend of marine fisheries, analyzes the current problems in marine fishery governance, and explores effective countermeasures for the development of marine fishery governance, hoping to provide some ideas for promoting marine fishery governance and enhancing the benefits of marine fishery development.
