Civil liability is a responsibility, which exist against damage caused and made causing damage to compensate. Civil liability means a liability to pay damages. So wherever someone is responsible for compensation against other one, there is civil liability. Civil liability laws enacted in 1960,there is no definition about responsibility and responsibility of the person has brought based on intentionally or fault of the natural or legal person including ordinary people or government employees and doesn’t say a word of Cairo forces in the realization of civil responsibility of states. There is a special relationship based on the civil liability between prejudicial and injured which is the same compensation. So, civil liability in a general and extensive sense covers contractual liability and tort liability because for both important issues to discuss about compensation. But the basic difference between these two back together the presence or absence of a contract between the parties. The scope of civil liability begins where is not present any contract for the fulfillment of the obligations between the parties. In this paper, the history of civil liability in relation to crisis management and its evolution, as well as the duties of the Supreme Council of the crisis in the form of materials and auxiliaries which have been approved are briefly discussed.

The book of Jeremiah reflects a particular period in the history of Judah, certain theological perspectives and a particular portrayal of the prophet Jeremiah. Covenant theology played a major role in Jeremiah’s view of life and determined his expectations of leaders and ordinary people. He placed high value on justice and trustworthiness, and people who did not adhere to this would in his view bear the consequences of disobedience to Yahweh’s moral demands and unfaithfulness. The prophet expected those in positions of leadership to adhere to certain ethical obligations as is clear from most of the nouns which appear in Jeremiah 5:1–6. This article argues that crisis situations in history affect leaders’ communication, attitudes and responses. Leaders’ worldviews and ideologies play a definitive role in their responses to crises. Jeremiah’s religious views are reflected in his criticism and demands of people in his society. This is also true as seen from the way the people and leaders in Judah responded to the prophet’s proclamation. Jeremiah 5:1–6 emphasises that knowledge and accountability are expected of leaders at all times, but in particular during unstable political times.

The second part of the translation has three segments. The first is dedicated to the history of Delhi from the time of the Mahabharat to the periods of Anangpal Tomar to the Mughal Emperor Humayun as also Sher Shah, the Afghan ruler. In the second and third segments Mirza Sangin Beg adroitly navigates between twin centres of power in the city. He writes about Qila Mubarak, or the Red Fort, and gives an account of the several buildings inside it and the cost of construction of the same. He ambles into the precincts and mentions the buildings constructed by Shahjahan and other rulers, associating them with some specific inmates of the fort and the functions performed within them. When the author takes a walk in the city of Shahjahanabad, he writes of numerous residents, habitations of rich, poor, and ordinary people, their mansions and localities, general and specialized bazars, the in different skills practised areas, places of worship and revelry, processions exemplifying popular culture and local traditions, and institutions that had a resonance in other cultures. The Berlin manuscript gives generous details of the officials of the English East India Company, both native and foreign, their professions, and work spaces. Mirza Sangin Beg addresses the issue of qaum most unselfconsciously and amorphously.

Abstract:This article reviews the history of defamation cases involving Africans in Southern Rhodesia. Two precedent-setting cases, one in 1938 and the other in 1946, provided a legal rationale for finding defamation that rested on the ability of litigants to prove they had been shamed. The testimony and evidence of these cases, both of which involved government employees, tracks how colonial rule was altering hierarchy and changing definitions of honor, often to the bewilderment of the litigants themselves. Importantly, both cases concluded that African employees of the state deserved special protection from defamation. The article then traces how the rules and ambiguities resulting from the legal logic of the 1938 and 1946 cases gave a wider group of litigants such as clerks, police, clergy, and teachers room to maneuver in the courtroom where they also claimed their professional honor. Such litigants perfectly understood the expectations of the court and performed accordingly by recounting embarrassing, even painful, experiences, all to validate their personal and professional honor in court. Such performances raise the question of how we might use court records to write a history of the emotional costs to people who used astute strategies that rested on dishonorable revelations to win their cases.

In the current work, the figures and functions of the external statutory auditor and internal statutory auditor are analysed. Before examining this subject, the historical and critical periods which have characterized the history of the subjects concerned is recalled; from the beginning will be shown the historical and regulatory process of auditing rules (activities engaged in by these subjects). From the dedicated and practical study of several documents, it is shown that with the progress of time, internal control carried out by the supervisory board is supported by an external control by the auditors or an audit firm. Until the mid-70s, auditing control was voluntary and the companies, without any impositions, believed it preferable to remain anchored to a purely internal control rather than an audit company. The law 136/1975 which made the external accounting control by an auditing company compulsory is under control of the Consob and the Draghi law clearly distinguishes the roles carried out by the auditors and work done by the supervisory board. After alluding to the reform of the commercial law, which took place in 2003, the law 39/2010 is analysed, modified by the recent law 135/2016. Successively, civil, criminal and administrative responsibility of the external and internal statutory auditors are analysed since with the EU Recommendation of 2008 (2008/473/EC) the state members are encouraged to limit the civil responsibility making the auditors no longer unlimitedly and jointly responsible but responsible relatively to the damage caused in the first person. Finally, in a comparative context, a study is carried out on the effects of the recommendation in other European countries pointing out any dissimilarities/similarities from both the criminal and administrative aspect.

Purpose – This study aims to explain how the process of organizational socialization of newcomers occurs in a public faculty.Design/methodology/approach – This qualitative and interpretativist research was conducted under an interactionist approach. We interviewed 14 newcomers and also experienced government employees from a state public faculty in São Paulo. The content of the interviews was analyzed by a categorization process.Findings – The findings show that socialization of newcomers is self-motivated, informal, non-institutionalized, influenced by the normative nature of work and insufficient support given by the group. Newcomers’ admission into the workplace does not cause serious conflicts or tensions that could lead to changes in the workplace. It is the proactive behavior of the newcomers that allows them to adapt to work and know traditions, beliefs and history of the organization.Research limitations/implications – The limitation of this study is the context of a public university’s workplace. Practical implications – This research allows the organization to get information about the triangular relationship between challenge, support and trust which could have direct effects on the newcomers’ workplace learning.Social implications – We propose that the organization creates a workplace in which the employees can feel strong bonds of solidarity and collectivism, and in which they could have concrete opportunities to realize that their work can contribute to something important, impacting, in the group and in the organization.Originality/value – This study articulates the concepts of organizational socialization, proactive behavior and self-socialization, which may provide future implications for public management in universities.

This chapter reviews The Jews of Poznań 1815–1848: Development of a Polish Jewry under the Rule of Prussia. It shows how this book enlarges our factual knowledge and enables us to correct the errors of older publications. It also shows in what way and why Polish Jews in the Prussian partition gradually became loyal subjects of Prussia, and then Germans of Mosaic faith. An important gap which plagues not only scholars of the history of the Jews in the Prussian partition is the scarcity of sources relevant to the evolution of the attitudes of ordinary people. The chapter asserts that Sophia Kemlein was able to use important records and memoirs that originated from among the wealthy, especially the intelligentsia; but these only partly disclose the views of other strata within the Jewish community. With these limited resources, however, and using many other sources from German and Polish archives, Kemlein has managed to create a convincing picture of the evolution of the whole community.
