This research study was conducted to observe the association among the faculty members of the universities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, their emotional intelligence, job satisfaction and organizational commitment. In the educational settings, the role of emotional intelligence is the most discussed and researched extensively in the realm of organizational behavior. Researchers have also argued the importance of emotional intelligence in academics. Moreover, little empirical research has been carried out to test the relationship among emotional intelligence, job satisfaction and organizational commitment, specifically the teachers of the universities of Pakistan. This study aimed not merely to ascertain empirical evidence to observe the relationship among EI, JS and OC in academics context, but also to recognize its theoretical and useful implications in the context of universities of Pakistan. The results of this study revealed that the correlation exists among job satisfaction, emotional intelligence and the components of organizational commitment: affective commitment, normative commitment and continuous commitment. Hierarchical regression analysis was applied to test the hypothesis, results indicated that job satisfaction positively predicts affective commitment, normative commitment and continuous commitment but emotional intelligence does not predicts affective commitment, normative commitment and continuous commitment. This study concluded that academic managers should make their teachers well satisfied and faithful to their organizations by defining their roles, clear organizational policies and procedures, finest provision of intrinsic and extrinsic incentives and creating sense of empowerment to their faculty members.

This empirical study show that the impact of all styles was well moderate. The means of effect of all styles were less than 3 out of 5. It means the expected impact of transformational affect upon the all dimensions of the activities, are not expected due to the traditional styles of leadership and the lack of information about the transformational leadership styles which can guide leaders to use such styles in the organization which may be this results due to lack of trained leaders and necessary knowledge with the leaders in all universities about transformational styles the traditional form of the leadership styles which used by the university leaders affect the communication between all levels of the administration and the faculty members which has consequence because decrease in motivation and a self-consideration from the administration.

This study investigated the impact of perceived organizational climate on managerial job satisfaction of 114 managerial personnel who completed a three-part questionnaire which solicited demographic information and the identification of and preferences for specific characteristics of organizational climate. The surveyed personnel had a strong preference for open as opposed to closed characteristics of organizational climate; to the degree they claimed to be familiar with the behavioral science theories of management there is an increasingly favorable disposition toward the theories; and among those Ss who perceived closed characteristics, there was a desire for a diminution of the impact of those characteristics.

This research is a human resource analysis study, especially studies on employees of Warung SS Purwokerto. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of Emotional Intelligence on Job Outcomes and its impact to Turnover Intention on Warung SS Purwokerto. The samples in this study were 86 people who had been selected using purposive sampling. This study uses the analysis method of Simple Regression Analysis and Causal Step Method. Hypotheses indicate that emotional intelligence directly affects job satisfaction, organizational commitment and Turnover Intention, then job satisfaction and organizational commitment affects Turnover Intention, next  job satisfaction and organizational commitment affect the effect of emotional intelligence on Turnover Intention. The implications of this study indicate that Turnover Intention affected by emotional intelligence, job satisfaction and organizational commitment. This finding will contribute to future research as an additional reference regarding the development of discussions and studies on human resource management.

Purpose The concept of emotional intelligence (EI) and servant leadership (SL) are two variables that have been essential for the organization leaders to ensure a healthy and happy work–life for their subordinates. The purpose of this study to be conducted was for leaders understand the role EI and SL play in maintaining employee job satisfaction and help them to create engaging environment and bring effectiveness in the work productivity of the assets. Design/methodology/approach Quantitative method was used and a total of 150 people were taken as a sample which consisted of several leaders and their subordinates and an emotional intelligence questionnaire by NHS and SL: multidimensional questionnaire was floated to rate the leaders EI and SL behavior comparing it with the leaders self-rating. The result was analyzed using SPSS, Pearson correlation and regression was used to understand the significance level and reliability of all the independent and dependent variables, respectively. Findings Through correlation and regression, it was found that presence of EI and SL style in a leader plays a huge role in employee job satisfaction. It was also found that EI and SL are the substantial predictor which have positive impact over employee job satisfaction. Originality/value The outcome of the study will help the leaders understand the significance that the EI and SL have in their role to maintain employee job satisfaction, as well as the training and development measures for leaders.
