The developmental factors of heredity and environment form a complex union on the territory of the human psyche. The biological foundations of human development are merely the premise for its socially-driven deployment. This report focuses on some portions of the main aspects of mental development, the foundations of which lie in the environmental conditions.

The book provides a comprehensive account of the human development (HD) approach to development. It shows how it emerged as a consequence of defects in earlier strategies, especially growth maximization. The book investigates the determinants of success and failure in HD across developing countries over the past forty years. Cross-country investigations show broad determinants of success and failure, while country studies give detailed examples of the policies and politics of HD. HD is multidimensional, and the book points to the importance of social institutions and social capabilities as essential aspects which are often overlooked. Yet the widely cited Human Development Index does not measure these aspects nor many of the other important dimensions of HD. The book analyses political conditions which are critical factors underlying performance on HD. The final chapter surveys global progress on multiple dimensions over a forty-year period and shows that there has been marked and pervasive improvement in many of them, including basic HD—life expectancy and infant mortality, education and incomes—as well as political freedoms. But there has been deterioration on some dimensions—with rising inequality in many countries and worsening environmental conditions. The book concludes with challenges to the approach—in particular insufficient attention has been paid to the macroeconomic conditions and economic structure needed for sustained success; and social institutions and political conditions have also been neglected. But the biggest neglect is the environment—with worsening global environmental conditions potentially threatening future achievements on HD.

The article presents the problem of archaisms, their energy influence on the human behavior in the integration unity with the ontological aspects of human development. The paper integrates the latest ideas of «non-classical psychology» (L. Vygotsky, A. Asmolov, D. El’konin, etc.), which determines the dynamics of the psychology development from statics to the psychodynamic approach to the study of the human psyche. The archaic heritage, as argued here, can not be studied independently from the personalized-individual human psyche. The article emphasizes the energу «doubling» (amplification and direction) of the psyche’s motivational potential due to its phylogenetic nature. The greatest achievement of the archaic heritage of mankind is the archetype as an instinct, which provides the ability to transcode the ideal psychic reality into the materialized and objectified one with the preservation of information equivalents. Therefore, it is impossible to perceive archaisms beyond the archetypal symbolism. The above mentioned explains the archaic origins of the successful use of the artistic works reproductions in the deep perception of the psyche. The article focuses on the archaism of guilt, which derives from the Oedipal complex and is also of an archaic origin. The category of guilt and the feeling of guilt respectively correlate with the conscious and unconscious aspects of the psyche. The effectiveness of «Super-Ego» is revealed in the guilt emergence. The article is completed within the psychodynamic paradigm and is based on the empirical material of the deep knowledge of the subject's psyche.

Knowledge, and especially scientific knowledge, is crucial in terms of transforming societies, and making social structures manageable and sustainable. This can be seen in the fact that the universities which are at the top of the global university rankings are mostly located in countries that are the center of attraction. The aim of this study is to examine the positive effects of academic productivity, which is of great importance in optimizing social conditions, on human development on a global scale with a statistically provable technique. In order to understand this relationship more clearly, our study has compared countries according to their academic productivity using the Multidimensional Scaling Analysis method and established a relationship between this and human development. As a result of the analysis carried out within the scope of the study, which used data from 178 countries from the time period of 1996-2019, it was concluded that the relationship between academic productivity and human development was only at a medium level. This suggests that, in addition to the need for scientific knowledge to be used for the improvement of social conditions, scientific knowledge is limited to certain organizations, which leads to the elitism of scientific knowledge.

The presented empirical study assesses the state of the cardiovascular system of Moscow schoolchildren living in different environmental conditions. 233 practically healthy schoolchildren (109 boys and 124 girls aged 11.4 to 12.6 years) took part in the comprehensive study of HRV and the state of adaptive processes when living in different ecological conditions of the capital megapolis. On the basis of different ecological and social conditions the schoolchildren were divided into 4 compared groups. The comparative analysis of the obtained HRV data of schoolchildren of different groups showed differences in the adaptation processes and in the indices of the wave activity of the sympathetic and parasympathetic departments of the ANS.

The chapter reviews progress across countries on human development over forty years in many dimensions. As shown earlier, there was general progress on basic human development, measured by the Human Development Index. This chapter also shows progress on many other dimensions, including a rising number of countries with broadly democratic political systems, a decline in crime in many countries, and a fall in gender gaps in education and earnings. Despite a recent upsurge of violent conflict, this was mostly on a downward trend at a global level. There was a more mixed situation in some other dimensions—for example, homicides and inequalities rose while trust fell in many countries. The most pervasive failure was on environmental sustainability. The chapter concludes with a discussion of areas that the human development approach has not adequately incorporated, including social institutions, macroeconomics, and above all environmental conditions which may threaten long-term achievements on human development.

AbstractParents have a vital role for growth and development of a teenager. Parents as the first actor to be an example for a teenager, so it must equip children with knowledge of the personality and the science of religion that later children can socialize in the community. Juvenile delinquency is happening is not the fault of the parents themselves, but also lies in the surrounding environment that can affect the behavior of adolescent youth. The role of parents and the environment is important for teens to form personal the better. In dealing with teenagers there are some things you should always keep in mind, namely that the soul is a soul-filled adolescent turmoil. Internal and external conditions are equally turbulent adolescence that causes more prone than other stages of mental development of adolescents. To reduce collisions between turbulence and to provide opportunities for youth to develop themselves in a more optimal, need to be created nearby environmental conditions as stable as possible, especially the family environment.Key Words: Adolescents, Personal, Moral HonorAbstrakOrang tua memiliki peran yang sangat penting terhadap tumbuh kembang seorang remaja. Kenakalan remaja yang terjadi bukanlah kesalahan dari orang tua sendiri, melainkan juga terletak pada lingkungan disekitar remaja yang dapat mempengaruhi perilaku remaja. Peran orang tua dan lingkungan sekitar sangatlah penting untuk membentuk pribadi remaja agar menjadi lebih baik. Dalam menghadapi remaja ada beberapa hal yang harus selalu diingat, yaitu bahwa jiwa remaja adalah jiwa yang penuh gejolak. Kondisi intern dan ekstern yang sama-sama bergejolak inilah yang menyebabkan masa remaja lebih rawan daripada tahap-tahap lain perkembangan jiwa remaja. Untuk mengurangi benturan antargejolak itu dan untuk memberi kesempatan agar remaja dapat mengembangkan dirinya secara lebih optimal, perlu diciptakan kondisi lingkungan terdekat yang sestabil mungkin, khususnya lingkungan keluarga.Kata Kunci: Remaja, Pribadi, Akhlak Mulia

W artykule przedstawiono postać i poglądy twórcy nowożytnej idei olimpijskiej – Pierre’a de Coubertina na zjawisko przeciążenia umysłowego uczniów oraz rolę sportu w rozwoju człowieka. Rozwój ten opierał na kalokagatii – antycznym ideale wychowania wszechstronnego. W książce Pédagogie sportive(Pedagogika sportowa) francuski myśliciel ukazuje w jaki sposób aktywność fizyczna i sport może wpływać na rozwój moralny, społeczny i zdolności umysłowe. Refleksje i postulaty reformatora edukacji sprzed wieku okazują się być aktualne wobec współczesnych wyzwań wychowania fizycznego dzieci i młodzieży. Dotyczy to m. in. ograniczania w szkolnej edukacji naturalnej potrzeby ruchu u młodszych uczniów, sedenteryjnego trybu życia, hipokinezji, niechęci uczniów do uczestniczenia w lekcjach wychowania fizycznego, braku odpowiedniej infrastruktury sportowej do podejmowania aktywności fizycznej w szkole czy niedomogów edukacji zdrowotnej. The thought of the creator of the modern Olympic idea, Pierre de Coubertin, in the context of contemporary challenges of physical education of children and youth in Poland The article presents the figure and views of the creator of the modern Olympic idea - Pierre de Coubertin on the phenomenon of mental overload of students and the role of sport in human development. This development was based on kalokagathia - an ancient ideal of comprehensive education. In his book „Pédagogie sportive” (Sport Pedagogy), the French thinker shows how physical activity and sport can influence moral, social and mental development. The reflections and postulates of the reformer of education from a century ago turn out to be up-to-date with contemporary challenges of physical education of children and youth. These include limiting the natural need for physical activity in younger students, sedentary lifestyles, hypokinesia, students' reluctance to participate in physical education classes, lack of adequate sports infrastructure for physical activity at school, and deficiencies in health education.

As hepatites virais são doenças causadas por vírus distintos (A, B, C e D), que têm em comum o acometimento particularmente forte do fígado humano. Objetivou-se mapear a distribuição das hepatites virais no Acre, no período de 2010 a 2014, por meio de dois indicadores. Esse mapeamento foi associado a proposições para explicar seus territórios, suas territorialidades e suas territorializações, sendo respectivamente os locais de maior ocorrência, as relações históricas e sociais que causaram essas enfermidades e a formação desses territórios. Em vista de tudo isto, as hepatites virais se territorializaram historicamente no Acre, possivelmente favorecidas por aspectos inadequados de vigilância epidemiológica, ligados com o controle de outras endemias que assolavam os municípios. Estes fatores, associados com as condições socioeconômicas e ambientais, com a desigualdade de renda, de escolaridade e de desenvolvimento humano desses espaços, permitiram que as relações que proporcionam a infecção e a transmissão dessas doenças fossem passadas de geração para geração. Esse processo resultou em territórios que apresentam, além de muitos casos notificados altas taxas de incidências como em Cruzeiro do Sul, Rio Branco, Tarauacá e Assis Brasil. The map of viral hepatitis in Acre: between territories and territorialities A B S T R A C TViral hepatitis are diseases caused by distinct viruses (A, B, C and D), which have in common the particularly strong involvement of the human liver. The objective of this study was to map the distribution of viral hepatitis in Acre between 2010 and 2014, using two indicators. This mapping was associated with propositions to explain their territories, their territorialities and their territorializations, being respectively the places of greatest occurrence, the historical and social relations that caused these diseases and the formation of these territories. In view of all this, viral hepatitis were historically territorialized in Acre, possibly favored by inadequate aspects of epidemiological surveillance, linked to the control of other endemic diseases that devastated the municipalities. These factors, associated with socioeconomic and environmental conditions, income inequality, schooling and human development of these spaces, allowed the relations that provide the infection and the transmission of these diseases were passed from generation to generation. This process resulted in territories that have, in addition to many cases reported high incidence rates such as Cruzeiro do Sul, Rio Branco, Tarauacá and Assis Brasil.Keywords: Viral hepatitis, Map, Territories, Acre.

Purpose of the article is the analysis of the conceptual positions of the representatives of psychological science within the concept of “mental development” and definition of the periodization of mental development in the views of domestic and foreign representatives. Research methods. Analysis and synthesis, systematization of scientific sources, comparison and generalization.Results. It is determined that mental development covers various fields of human existence, including such as: psychophysiological, cognitive and psychosocial ones. It is characterized by features that are expressed in irreversibility, direction and regularity.It is considered the S. Hall's theory of recapitulation, which is based on the biogenetic law in the article. Taking into account the contribution of S. Hall to the development of psychological knowledge, E. Hutchison lays the extraction of food by man as a criterion in the basis of mental development. It is determined the role of ethical and moral ideas in the views of L. Kohlberg and the connection with the periodization of human development.It was taken into account the role of psychological orientations of a human in his life and their role at each stage of mental development of the individual through the theory of psychosocial development of E. Erickson. It is determined the place of intelligence in human development and its connection with the development of the human psyche in the views of J. Piaget. It is characterized the views of S. Khudoyan views in the periodization of human development, where in his research he relied on the functional significance of biological, social and psychological neoformations.Conclusions. According to the results of theoretical analysis, it is established that a mental development is influenced by both external and internal factors, or biological and social. Periodization of its development was devised by scientists and theorists in accordance with the driving forces, which in their opinion were decisive. It was identified the areas according to which theories of periodization of mental development were devised: biogenetic, sociogenetic and mixed.Key words: psyche, mental development, subjective and objective factors, age, crisis periods. Метою статті є аналіз концептуальних положень представників психологічної науки в рамках поняття «психічний розвиток» та визначення проблематики періодизації психічного розвитку в поглядах вітчизняних та зарубіжних представників. Методи. Аналіз та синтез, систематизація наукових джерел, порівняння та узагальнення.Результати. Визначено, що психічний розвиток охоплює собою різні сфери людського буття, вклю-чаючи психофізіологічну, когнітивну та психосоціальну сфери. Для нього характерні особливості, які виражаються в незворотності, спрямованості та закономірності.У статті розглянуто теорію рекапітуляцій С. Холла, в основі якої лежить біогенетичний закон. Беручи до уваги вклад С. Холла в розвиток психологічного знання, Е. Гетчисон в основу психічного розвитку закладає добування їжі людиною як критерій. Визначено роль етичних та моральних уявлень у поглядах Л. Колберга та зв’язок із періодизацією розвитку людини. Проаналізовано наявність кризових періодів у періодизації психологічного розвитку особистості в поглядах Л. Виготського та В. Слободчикова.Було взято до уваги роль психологічних орієнтирів людини в її житті та їх роль на кожному етапі психічного розвитку особистості через теорію психосоціального розвитку Е. Еріксона. Визначено місце інтелекту в розвитку особистості та зв’язок його з розвитком психіки в поглядах Ж. Піаже. Охарактеризовано погляди С. Худояна в періодизації розвитку людини, де у своїх дослідженнях він спирався на функціональне значення біологічних, соціальних та психологічних новоутворень.Висновки. За результатами теоретичного аналізу встановлено, що психічний розвиток зазнає впливу як зовнішніх, так і внутрішніх чинників, або ж біологічних і соціальних. Періодизація психічного розвитку розроблялась науковцями та теоретиками відповідно до рушійних сил, які, на їхню думку, були визначальними. Були виділені напрями, згідно з якими розроблялись теорії періодизації психічного розвитку: біогенетичний, соціогенетичний та змішаний. Подальші перспективи дослідження будуть розширювати ґрунтовність вивчення означеної проблеми.Ключові слова: психіка, психічний розвиток, суб’єктивні та об’єктивні чинники, вік, кризові періоди.
