Rural tourism unites different types and forms of tourism. Its multifaceted nature raises different expectations about what a tourist would be offered as an experience during his/her stay outside the city limits. Analyses and conclusions have been presented as a result of the author’s long-term research work in the field of rural tourism. This is done to establish a functional and logical connection in order to successfully apply a comprehensive approach to discovering the essence of rural tourism.

The article considers the history of the formation of Lenin street in the city of Ufa. Its main attractions are listed. The analysis of street improvement according to the main criteria of a favorable urban environment is carried out. The main problems of this territory are also identified. The method of work consists in carrying out an analysis of street improvement using the main criteria of a favorable urban environment. Studies have found that Lenin street is a great place for walking residents and guests of the city. The analysis of landscaping also showed that the territory is quite comfortable and safe for long-term stay of people on the pedestrian space. And also, you can see that much attention is paid to the appearance of buildings and the preservation of the historical significance of the street and the entire city of Ufa.

The article reveals the problem of green areas of the urban environment, which is becoming one of the most topical in Russian cities. The creation of comfortable housing is inextricably linked to the urban situation, the degree of urbanization of the living environment. With the increase in the size of cities, changes in the environmental situation the nature of the connection "housing – environment" is modifying. Activities for the improvement of areas, the organization of environmentally comfortable areas around the houses (the creation of parks, playgrounds in the yard, etc.) and the provision of standards of gardening in the absence of conditions for the usual long-term gardening can be carried out using mobile landscaping. The use of green recreational space in the city improvement allows solving the problem of green areas shortage, and will have a positive impact on the appearance of the city.

The topic of the article is one of the most important aspects of the landscape of the urban environment. The long-term accumulation of contradictions in natural and artificial urban landscape interaction led to an intensive search for methods of resolving numerous conflicts in the «human-nature» relationship. The dynamic transformation of the city environment under the influence of a variety of factors was accompanied by a change of approaches ensuring the correction of emerging contradictions.

This research was oriented to analyze and publicize the different types of intervention that can implement by the social work professional with young people and adults who have a disability. It was developed study in a civil association in the city of San Cristobal de Las Casas (SCLC), Chiapas, through a qualitative case. The findings indicate that the systemic approach focused on respecting and valuing human rights towards people with disabilities can lead them to long-term social resilience processes; Family support is an important element, therefore, in social work, specific actions that involve them should be promoted and thus increase the chances of integrating into society in a dignified manner.

The article presents the results of the long-term research of the lichen species population in urban environment. The tolerant species Parmelia sulcata Taylor was chosen as an indicator of urban conditions. The study was conducted in different parts of the city of Pskov (Russia) varying in degree of air pollution. The analyses of species’ urban habitats, substrate diversity, thalli location in relation to the points of the compass, abundance and projective cover are discussed. Attention is also focused on the morphological parameters of the lichen’s thalli (thalli size, presence or absence of apothecia, vegetative propagules, thalli color and presence of necro spots on the lichen individuals etc.) in different environmental conditions. Received data will serve as a base for monitoring Parmelia sulcata population change continuously.

ABSTRACT:Meat consumption increase since the nineteenth century is a good indicator of the key stage of the so-called nutrition transition. This article is based on primary sources, predominantly municipal slaughterhouse bookkeeping data, and examines the changing patterns of supply, distribution and consumption of different types of meat, in order to avoid the risk of an over-simplified historical view. Long-term analysis shows that between 1740 and 1840, a period of economic and demographic growth, meat consumption levels dropped dramatically. After that time, the liberalization of agriculture and the new rail network boosted the supply of meat. Other sources and spatial analysis help us examine the ways that the city was supplied with meat, the meat retail distribution within it and the changing diet of the different urban social strata.

Geoinformational monitoring of urban environment is a necessary component of modern military-geographical description of military operation theater. The polymorphism property of modern geoinformational monitoring can be attributed to tactical properties, since it significantly expands range of decryption features of territory to be studied. The essence of polymorphism property of geoinformational monitoring is as follows: the same object of monitoring or the same phenomenon or process can be represented by different models. This property of geoinformational monitoring allows to preserve the integrity of representation of monitoring objects due to the invariance of description of objects and to bring the study of tasks of one type of monitoring to tasks of another type. Consistency of disparate models of monitoring objects is carried out provided that they belong to a given category of models. A constructive approach to the integration of different types of models of monitoring objects in the system of geoinformational monitoring is using methods of categorical-functional analysis. The mathematical apparatus of category theory allows the formalization of structures of complex systems in the form of sets of morphisms and objects of category of structured sets. This allows us to preserve integrity of representation of monitored object, and the consistency of its disparate models based on the analysis of their belonging to a given category of models. The paper presents the mathematical apparatus of implementation of this method, which is the theoretical basis of properties of polymorphism of geoinformational monitoring. The property of polymorphism allows us to increase the efficiency of processes of observation, evaluation, control and management of urban environment on basis of a heterogeneous polymodel complex, which forms information space of object of monitoring. Specific models of practical implementation of the polymorphism properties of geoinformational monitoring on the example of anomalous zones of density of vehicles and thermal field of the city surface are considered.

This review surveys relevant and recent data of the pertinent literature regarding the acute effect of alcohol on various kinds of memory processes with special emphasis on working memory. The characteristics of different types of long-term memory (LTM) and short-term memory (STM) processes are summarized with an attempt to relate these to various structures in the brain. LTM is typically impaired by chronic alcohol intake but according to some data a single dose of ethanol may have long lasting effects if administered at a critically important age. The most commonly seen deleterious acute effect of alcohol to STM appears following large doses of ethanol in conditions of “binge drinking” causing the “blackout” phenomenon. However, with the application of various techniques and well-structured behavioral paradigms it is possible to detect, albeit occasionally, subtle changes of cognitive processes even as a result of a low dose of alcohol. These data may be important for the consideration of legal consequences of low-dose ethanol intake in conditions such as driving, etc.
