Employees are a valuable corporate asset that must be managed by the company in order to provide optimal contribution. One of the things that should be the primary concern of the company is the job satisfaction of their employees, because the employees in the work they do not feel comfortable, under-appreciated, can not develop all their potential, then automatically the employee unable to focus and concentrate fully on the job . that the motivation to be a very important part of the underlying individual or someone in doing something or achieve the desired purpose.Salary given to employees company PT Bess Finance so varies according to the position of each. Then the opportunity for career selection to a higher level, reward program for high performing employees. But in certain cases it is also still found a contradictory conditions, which, if observed, would also be potentially lethal even lower motivation.Based on the background above, the research on the effect of motivation on employee performance in PT Bess Finance, this study takes its object to employees of PT Bess Finance located in Bandung. The independent variable (X) is the motivation to work while the dependent variable (Y) is the performance of the employees. This type of research uses explanatory survey, and the method used is Simple Random Sampling, with a total sample 45 respondents. In addition, research is conducted in a timeframe of less than one year of the study using cross-sectional methods. The data used are primary and secondary data and data analysis techniques using statistical parametric application using Spearman rank analysis.These results indicate that the effect of motivation on employee performance indicates a moderate correlation and significant correlation coefficient of 0.477. therefore, the suggestion for the Company Bess Finance to pay attention to in terms of work motivation mnghasilkan employees so that they can work effectively and efficiently.Keywords: Work Motivation and Employee Performance

Penelitian ini bertujuan adalah untuk (1) Mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, (2) Mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, (3) Mengetahui pengaruh disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kantor Kecamatan Cenrana Kabupaten Maros. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan sekunder, jumlah sampel yaitu 30 orang. Pendekatan kuantitatif merupakan jenis pendekatan dalam penelitian ini dan dianalisis menggunakan metode regresi linear berganda dengan olah data SPSS 21 untuk membuktikan tiga hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwasemua variable bebas secara bersama-sama atau simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel terikat yaitu kinerja pegawai. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diketahui bahwa lingkungan kerja, motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai di kantor Kecamatan Cenrana Kabupaten Maros. Diartikansemakin baik suasana dalam lingkungan kerja, serta adanya motivasi kerja dan disiplin kerja tinggi akan memberikan dampak baik bagi pegawai dalam menjalankan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya sehingga akan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai yang lebih baik. This study aims to (1) determine the influence of work environment on employee performance, (2) determine the influence of work motivation on employee performance, (3) determine the influence of work discipline on employee performance. This research was conducted at the head office of cenrana district, Maros Regency. The data used in this study were primary and secondary data, with the total sample of 30 people. This study used a quantitative approach and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 21 data processing to prove three hypotheses. The results of this study prove that the independent variables jointly or simultaneously have a significant effect on the dependent variable, employee performance. Based on the results of this study, it is known that the work environment, work motivation and work discipline have a significant effect on employee performance in the Cenrana District Office, Maros Regency. Thus it can be interpreted that the better the atmosphere in the work environment, as well as the existence of work motivation and high work discipline, the more likely this will have a good impact on employees in carrying out their duties and responsibilities so that will also affect their performance.

Abstract This study aims to determine the influence of job satisfaction, work motivation to employee performance. Using by simple random sampling method 40 respondents from taken 160 employees population. Explanatory research use SPSS 20, the data used is primary and secondary data, . The analysis showed that: the relationships among the exogenous variables of job satisfaction and work motivation has a direct influence on the endogenous variable employee performance. Therefore, it is still necessary to improve the performance of an increase in motivation, job satisfaction to employees by providing stimuli. Keyword: Work Motivation, Job Satisfaction, and Employee Performance. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh motivasi kerja dan kepuasan kerja kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan . Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode simple random sampling 40 orang responden dari populasi yang berjumlah 160 orang karyawan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan SPSS 20, data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan sekunder, Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa : variabel eksogen kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kerja terdapat pengaruh terhadap variabel endogen kinerja karyawan. Oleh karena itu untuk meningkatkan kinerja masih diperlukan adanya peningkatan motivasi, kepuasan kerja dengan memberikan stimuli kepada karyawan. This research aims to analyze the performance of employees at the Palang Merah Indonesia in Bandung. This study uses compensation and good corporate governance variables to analyze employee performance using work motivation as an intervening variable. The population in this study were all employees of the Palang Merah Indonesia in Bandung by using a minimum sample of 110 employees after being calculated using the slovin technique with simple random sampling. Data collection methods in the study used primary and secondary data, explanatory surveys, and questionnaires. Data analysis technique in this study uses regression analysis. The purpose of this study was to analyze the direct effect of compensation and good corporate governance on employee performance through motivation as an intervening variable. The results showed that the motivation and compensation variables had a significant positive influence on good corporate governance. Furthermore, the variable good corporate governance shows significant positive results on employee performance.

Background: Waste is any substance of products which is discarded after primary use or no longer used. Mangunreja village is one of the villages in Kab. Serang with a population of 3,018 people and the resulting volume of waste generated is 6,036 liters/person/day. Objectives: This study aims to determine the factors associated with thebehaviorofwastemanagementintheMangunrejaVillage,PuloAmpelPublicHealth Center in 2019. Methods: The design of this research is cross sectional where the sample was taken with a simple random sampling method. Thepopulationofthisstudy is all housewives living in the Mangunreja Village, with a total sample of 194 people. Primary data collection uses a questionnaire, while secondary data is obtained from the Pulo Ampel Public Health Center, and the Mangunreja Village Profile. Results: The frequencydistributionresultsshowedthat25.3%ofrespondentsbehavedunfavorably, 55.5% had poor knowledge, 48.5% had negative attitudes, 47.4% of respondents were informal workers, 71.1% had low incomes, and 61, 9% of respondents stated that there were no TPS facilities available. Correlation test results that there is a correlation between knowledge, attitude with waste management behavior(p=0,000),andthere is a correlation between the availability of Temporary Disposal facilities (p = 0.005) with waste management behavior. There is no relationship between work and income with waste management behavior. Conclusions: Knowledge, attitudes, and availability of Temporary Disposal facilities are factors related to waste management behavior.

This study investigates the effect of organisational culture dimensions on employee performance in Nigerian fast food restaurants using cross-sectional survey. Forty fast food restaurants were selected using simple random sampling. Nine hundred and twenty five employees were surveyed. Sample size of two hundred and seventy two was ascertained with Krejcie and Morgan. Method for data collection is questionnaire. Two hundred and thirty nine copies of questionnaire were retrieved out of two hundred and seventy two copies administered. Simple linear regression was used to analyse the hypotheses with the aid of IBM SPSS 20.0. This study found that organisational culture dimensions predicted with clan culture and market culture has a positive significant effect on employee performance. It concludes that organisational culture dimensions measured in terms of clan culture and market culture engenders employee performance through effectiveness and efficiency. One of the practical implications is that Nigerian fast food restaurant practitioners should clearly define their clan culture for newcomers to imbibe to enable them increase their performance.

Objective of this research is to determine the effect of burnout and work discipline on employee performance. This research was conducted in a span of less than one year, so the research design used was a cross-sectional method. This study uses a descriptive and verification approach with explanatory survey methods. A total of 100 respondents were selected as samples using probability sampling. The research questionnaire is used as a research instrument to collect data from respondents, and the data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The findings of this research is work fatigue (burnout) and work discipline have a significant influence on employee performance.  Differences found in objects and research methods, population and research samples, research periods, measurement tools and research results, and sources of theory from foreign journals and foreign books

Cataract is the leading cause of 51% blindness case in the world. Cataract can only be cured trough surgery, but most people with cataract in Indonesia is not in undergoing surgery due to several factors. The increasing number of cataract victim whose not undergoing any treatment to cure them will resulting in increasing number of blindness case, so blindness cause by cataracts can be a public health problem. This research was conducted to determine the relationship of age, attitudes, knowledge and the cost of the action to perform cataract surgery. This research was an observational analytic study with cross sectional design. The samples were cataract patients in Undaan Eye Hospital Surabaya who were randomly selected using a simple random sampling based on medical records of 60 people. Data collection was done by taking secondary data and interviews to patients. Those variables was analyzed with chi square or Fisher’s exact with significancy level at 95%. The result showed that there were correlation between knowledge (p = 0.017), operating costs (p = 0.001) and attitude (0.000) while age was not related (p = 1.000), the actions to perform cataract surgery. The conclusion from this research was the attitude, knowledge and operating costs related to the actions to perform cataract surgery, while age was not related to the actions to perform cataract surgery. It is recommended to give through leaflets or other media in the lobby for improving patient education, counseling to the patient family, the doctor’s advice to convince patient for surgery.Keywords: practice, surgery, cataract, attitudes, costs

“The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of work motivation and working conditions on the performance of MSME employees before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The researcher uses a comparative research type with a quantitative approach. Techniques Data collection is done using a questionnaire with the linkert method. And the sampling technique used is to use a saturated sample (total sampling). The total sample obtained is 37 employees from several MSMEs. In the test of the effect of work motivation, work motivation has no significant effect on employee performance. Variable working conditions have a significant effect on employee performance. In the F test there is an influence between work motivation and working conditions on employee performance. And in the comparison test, there is a significant difference between work motivation and working conditions before and during covid-19. While in the employee performance variable there is no significant difference between employee performance before and during Covid-19”.

This study aimed to determine the effect of work environment, training, and competence on work satisfaction in improving employee performance. The object in this study is PT. Asaputex Jaya, located in Tegal City, engaged in woven sarong’s trading business with the Korma Tree brand. The sample used in this study was determined by a simple random sampling method, obtaining 105 respondents. The data in this study were obtained through a questionnaire that was filled out independently. The analysis used in this study uses the analysis method of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). This study proves and concludes that: work environment and work training have a significant positive effect on work satisfaction. However, competence does not affect work satisfaction. Besides, the work environment negatively affects employee performance, and work training does not affect employee performance. Also, competence and work satisfaction have a significant positive effect on employee performance. Further research must develop more varied models to provide different research findings, such as adding work stress variables, work motivation, work discipline, and others.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of structural change management on employee performance in the Parliamentary Service Commission (PARLSCOM) and it was undertaken through descriptive research design. Methodology: The study targeted all the nine hundred and fourteen employees of PARLSCOM. Stratified and simple random sampling techniques were used to select a sample of ninety one participants from the target population.  Self-administered questionnaire and interview guides were used to collect primary. Secondary data was obtained from PARLSCOM’s annual reports, government publications and earlier research.  Reliability of the instruments was tested using Cronbach’s alpha reliability. Data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Multiple linear regression analysis was done using Microsoft Excel 2013 Analysis ToolPak and output used to test study hypotheses. Results: The results indicated that structural change management had a positive significant effect on performance of employees in PARLSCOM.Unique contribution to the theory, practice and policy: The study recommends that structural change management is a critical factor in increasing employee performance, therefore HR managers should ensure clarity and stability in the organization’s structure during change management in order to enhance employee performance.  Finally, the study recommends further research be done by replicating the same study in other organizations and also using other independent variables other than the ones used in this study.
