The goals of the Agenda 2030 require a significant effort to educate and train new generations on sustainability issues. This article presents an initiative in favor of the evolution of the contents and the pedagogy of economics at the University level. We present the new “Ecological Money and Finance” textbook developed by SDSN France. We detail the assumptions, contents and learning objectives proposed in this new textbook. Then, we describe how it can be used in the framework of an experiential pedagogy of economics, taking as a case study the fundamental economics course of the Grande Ecole program at KEDGE BS.

This article focuses on a case study developed in 2017 with a sample of  portuguese Heritage Language students, living in Zürich (Switzerland), and intends to be a reflection on the deviations in the graphic representation of the capital letter by some bilingual Portuguese descent students. Starting from the empirical hypothesis that the cause of these deviations consists in the transfer from German to Portuguese, the intervention procedure implemented in the group of informants under study was based on a sequence of two exercises atdifferent evaluative moments, allowing, in this way, to collect and analyze data, in order to assess the class and subclass of words that register the highest percentage ofdeviant occurrences and to understand if the metalinguistic reflection contributes (or not) to the use of capital letters in accordance with the European Portuguese orthographic standard.

The traditional published case studies have been successfully used in marketing education for decades. However, recent changes in marketing practice, prompted by disruptive changes in the marketplace, highlight their shortcomings as an educational instrument. To remain relevant and deliver the desired learning outcomes, new or modified approaches to case-study teaching might be necessary. This chapter is structured as follows: first, the changes in business environment and their impact on marketing education is discussed. Second, the advantages and shortcomings of the traditional published case study as an educational instrument in marketing are presented. Third, new approaches to case study are critically evaluated. These are live case, participative case writing, and web-based cases.
