In this paper, we studied a new class of nonspreading-type mappings more general than the class of strictly pseudononspreading and the class of generalized nonspreading mappings. We state and prove some strong convergence theorems of the Mann-type and Ishikawa-type algorithms for approximating fixed points of our class of mappings in Hadamard spaces.

In this paper, we introduce a new class of Bregman generalized α -nonexpansive mappings in terms of the Bregman distance. We establish several weak and strong convergence theorems of the Ishikawa and Noor iterative schemes for Bregman generalized α -nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. A numerical example is given to illustrate the main results of fixed point approximation using Halpern’s algorithm.

A new modified mixed Ishikawa iterative sequence with error for common fixed points of two asymptotically quasi pseudocontractive type non-self-mappings is introduced. By the flexible use of the iterative scheme and a new lemma, some strong convergence theorems are proved under suitable conditions. The results in this paper improve and generalize some existing results.

We introduce an Ishikawa iterative scheme by the viscosity approximate method for finding a common element of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping in Hilbert space. Then, we prove some strong convergence theorems which extend and generalize S. Takahashi and W. Takahashi's results (2007).
