The article proposes a method for selecting the optimal operation mode of a gas condensate well without sand accumulation in the bottom, taking into account the relaxation deformation of reservoir rocks during the development of a gas condensate deposit in the depletion mode. This method simultaneously allows you to determine the required current operating volume of produced condensate (as well as gas), as well as bottom-hole and contour values of reservoir pressure, condensate saturation and porosity of the reservoir, corresponding to the selected optimal operation mode of the well.

Calculations have been performed on the contrast obtainable, using the Scanning Transmission Electron Microscope, in the observation of thick specimens. Recent research indicates a revival of an earlier interest in the observation of thin specimens with the view of comparing the attainable contrast using both types of specimens.Potential for biological applications of scanning transmission electron microscopy has led to a proliferation of the literature concerning specimen preparation methods and the controversy over “to stain or not to stain” in combination with the use of the dark field operating mode and the same choice of technique using bright field mode of operation has not yet been resolved.

In the article, the electrical and thermal processes in the LED lamp with varied parameters are investigated. Voltage and current measurements on all LEDs of the luminaire are carried out in the nominal operating mode. The power allocated to each LED is determined. The calculation of the LED crystal temperature was carried out using the developed thermal LED model based on the results of the measurements and by using “Multisim” program. It has been established that the temperature of the crystals of individual LEDs in the luminaire differ significantly, which leads to unfavourable thermal conditions for them and an increased likelihood of premature failure.

Generally, the database access of a website lies in the user login. When the login data is not accompanied by security techniques, it is very easily accessible by other parties. One effort that can be done to solve the problem is to encode the login data of website users based on cryptographic technique algorithm. Triangle Chain Cipher (TCC) is one of the classic cryptographic algorithms that encode data doubly and generate keys randomly along the plain. The process of encryption and decryption are interdependent to be one of the advantages of this algorithm. This algorithm will be more effective when combined with the Cipher Block Chaining (CBC) operation mode that is widely used in modern cryptographic algorithms today. The feedback mechanism between the blocks in this mode of operation is the operating advantage. This study describes how to combine the mode of operation of block chaining cipher with triangle chain cipher algorithm so that cipher data login website generated more random and difficult to find its original meaning.

This work presents the design and optimization of an antenna with defected ground structure (DGS) using characteristic mode analysis (CMA) to enhance bandwidth. This DGS is integrated with a rectangular patch with circular meandered rings (RPCMR) in a wearable format fully using textiles for wireless body area network (WBAN) application. For this integration process, both CMA and the method of moments (MoM) were applied using the same electromagnetic simulation software. This work characterizes and estimates the final shape and dimensions of the DGS using the CMA method, aimed at enhancing antenna bandwidth. The optimization of the dimensions and shape of the DGS is simplified, as the influence of the substrates and excitation is first excluded. This optimizes the required time and resources in the design process, in contrast to the conventional optimization approaches made using full wave “trial and error” simulations on a complete antenna structure. To validate the performance of the antenna on the body, the specific absorption rate is studied. Simulated and measured results indicate that the proposed antenna meets the requirements of wideband on-body operation.

The maritime industry is in a mindset to save fuel and reduce emissions. How one achieves this end, however, can be a matter of some debate. While substantial industry effort is being placed on things that can be optimized, to achieve real benefit and financial return one must first understand the details about how the vessel consumes propulsive energy during its mission. This paper discusses a rational, simple, and effective systems engineering approach to identify power and fuel demands via computational propulsion analysis of the individual operating modes of a vessel’s duty cycle. It explains sensible consumption metrics that can be used to evaluate and compare different physical systems, strategic plans, or helm decisions. A duty cycle operating mode analysis calculation for a tugboat in multi-role service (as a harbor tug and in long haul ocean barge towing) is demonstrated using COTS software, including examples of design-side and shipboard decision options and consequences.

A phenomenon that the damping ratio will decrease when the power flows from both sides to the primary power grid is summarized and analyzed in the paper. Based on analysis of the damping ratio change of West Inner Mongolia-Shandong oscillation under the sequential operation mode and the hedge operation mode, a three-machine equivalent system is established to study edge to edge (ETE) oscillation mode under hedge operating mode of the power system. The influence of magnitudes and trends of power flow on damping ratio is analyzed, and the reason that why damping ratios decreases when both sides send power to the mid-side power grid is explained.

The article presents the results of mathematic simulation to determine the effect of geometric parameters, coaxially installed impellers, a centrifugal turbo machine on the developed pressure, depending on the mode of operation (frequency and relative direction of the impellers rotation). It is established that irrespective of the operation mode, the influence of the circumferential velocity, the ratio of the input and output diameters and the width of the impeller on the value of the pressure developed by the turbo machine is invariable. While the influence of the density of the blades system decreases with the counter rotation of the impellers.
