In order to reduce traffic accidents, achieving safety and harmony of traffic color, a quantitative research on traffic color of urban road were carried. Grounded on modern knowledge of color theory, color psychology, Grey Theory and Back-error Propagation Artificial Neural Network (GT-BPNN), Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm (PSO) and traffic questionnaires, the evaluation index system of traffic color in urban road, the evaluation model of transportation color and the model of color harmony and optimization in urban road were constructed. Assisted by MATLAB and other software, the reliability and validity of models were determined, taking a road in Xuzhou, Jiangsu as a test section. According to the results, some reasonable improvements on traffic safe color were recommended.

An increasing number of studies have demonstrated that blue space can promote the recovery of the human body, as does green space. However, the influence of blue space on the color space has been studied much less. Based on research on color psychology and healthy cities, the current study takes Yijie District of Dujiangyan City as the research object. Logistic regression models and the semantic differential method was used to explore residents’ perceptions of color space and their restorative ratings of blue space. This study describes the characteristics of the people visiting blue space, investigates whether the benefits brought about by blue space are related to the color space, and studies whether the surrounding colors in the blue space have a positive effect in promoting residents’ perceptions of pleasure. Based on residents’ choices of environmental pictures containing various colors, a color tendency map was constructed. The results revealed strong correlations between residents’ perceived pleasure and color space color collocation. Socio-demographic factors were found to affect the frequency of visiting blue space. Reasonable color planning is necessary for human health. Based on the study findings, relevant planning suggestions are proposed as a reference basis for waterfront space color planning.

Reasonable color design in medical space can play an auxiliary role in patients’ treatment by researching and analyzing the differences of color psychological needs during patients with different age groups being treated. So this paper proposes a medical space oriented color psychology perception model to present how color design in medical space affects patients’ therapeutic benefits. This model can figuratively reflect the color needs of patients with different age groups and affects patients’ therapeutic benefits by triggering patients’ psychology perception. At last, the experimental results validate the effectiveness of medical space oriented color psychology perception model and present the color need tendency in medical space of patients with different age groups, which plays an important role to improve and perfect health system.
