Environmental policy represents one of the important administrative issues for organizations that seek to have a bright future. They are required to make great and real efforts to diagnose the environmental dimension, evaluate environmental efforts, and think about effective means, mechanisms and ways to protect the environment in the future and to correct past mistakes. The aim of this research is to show the impact that the environmental policy can play in achieving the requirements of sustainability. The research relied on the independent variable represented by the environmental policy, and the dependent variable 17 السياسة البيإية ودور ا ف تحقيق متطلبا االستدامة Millennium Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences 2(4): (2021) on sustainability and its requirements represented by (rationalization of resource consumption, reducing pollution, reducing the impact on human health, and using renewable energy). The descriptive analytical approach was adopted in the completion of this research, and it included answering the questions related to the research problem by testing two main hypotheses, with regard to correlation and influence relations. The General Battery Industry / Babel 1 Factory in Baghdad, and the statistical program (SPSS.V.23) was used to extract the results. BackgroundClinical practice suggests that partners of psychotherapy patients often have powerful feelings about the therapy and therapist. The repercussions of psychotherapy on those close to the patient are rarely considered. A small exploratory study was therefore conducted.MethodAll patients who had completed at least two months of weekly psychodynamic psychotherapy in 1990 at an out-patient unit of a psychiatric hospital (n = 35) and had a partner with whom they were living at the time of starting therapy (n = 23) were contacted. Eight gave permission for their partner to be contacted directly. All eight partners agreed to participate in a semi-structured interview exploring their perceptions of the effects of the therapy on a number of family relationships. The impact of the process of the study was also investigated by means of a questionnaire sent to all partners some weeks after the interview.ResultsConsiderable changes were perceived to have taken place in association with therapy affecting not only the relationship between the couple but also their parenting relationship, the children, and at times members of the extended family. Partners' views about the direction of such changes seemed to influence other perceptions about the therapy.ConclusionsThe repercussions of individual psychotherapy may well spread extensively within a family. This further blurs the boundary between individual and family therapy, both theoretically and clinically. Research procedures are themselves a major intervention and may have a considerable emotional impact on participants.

Due to the rapid transformation of the digitization era, we witness the emergence of some products in conjunction with the transformation. Especially, from the financial perspective, Bitcoin is one of the most remarkable examples of digital cryptocurrencies based on blockchain. The research problem of this study revolves around the concept of blockchain and its impact on the Shariah ruling for Bitcoin. Thus, this study aims to analyze the relationship between blockchain and cryptocurrencies to address the impact of Shariah ruling in digital technologies. To obtain the objectives of this research, a descriptive and inductive analysis approach is adopted. The findings of the study show that blockchain technology is worthy of benefits while it has advantages as well as disadvantages that require to be resolved. The Shariah ruling of blockchain depends on its applications, and it (Shariah ruling) varies from case to case since it is a tool and open source for all. In addition, considering the strength of technology and its advantages does not suffice to consider that technology being permissible from the Shariah perspective.

Purpose: Innovation is recognised as a key driver of business and economic growth. However, many organisations struggle to implement or encourage innovation successfully. A number of factors, including the demonstration of transformational leadership, have been examined in encouraging innovation behaviour among employees. ‘Meaningful work’ is seen as an additional factor influencing innovation but has received little attention in this field.  Design:  Drawing on both an emerging body of research on meaningful work and a leading model of creativity and innovation in organisations, this exploratory study of 100 Australian adult employees investigated the additional predictive value of both meaningful work and transformational leadership on innovation behavior.Findings: Results showed that meaningful work was positively correlated with, and predicted, innovation, while transformational leadership did not contribute to innovative behaviour.  Implications:This finding has implications for organisations fostering innovation by helping them better understand the impact meaningful work could have on their innovation objectives.Originality:This is one of the first studies examining the relationship between innovation, meaningful work, and transformational leadership in a population of employed adults.

Abstract Despite the extant research on entrepreneurial orientation (EO) and its performance consequences, cultural industries have been under researched. In our paper, we examine the impact of the Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO) on performance as well as performance deviation from industry average in art galleries. The findings of our exploratory study based on responses from 113 art galleries in Istanbul showing that EO improves performance only in galleries with above industry average performance. We further find that the relationship between EO and performance deviation of galleries is U-shaped.

Although prior research has found that psychopathy and delinquent peer association are predictors of delinquency, less research has assessed the dynamic role of peers in the relationship between psychopathic traits and offending. Using 10 waves of data from the Pathways to Desistance longitudinal study ( n = 1,354), the current exploratory study investigates the impact of changes in delinquent peer association on the relationship between psychopathy and self-reported offending. Although the effects are small, results indicate that youth with higher Psychopathy Checklist Youth Version (PCL:YV; Forth et al.) scores report higher initial levels of delinquent peer association, which results in increases in offending over the study period. Initial levels (intercept) and change (slope) in delinquent peer association are positively associated with offending. Findings also demonstrate that initial levels and changes in delinquent peer association mediate the relationship between psychopathy and changes in offending. The findings have implications for delinquency prevention and intervention efforts for all adolescents and particularly serious offenders.

With increasing demands on software functions, software systems become more and more complex. This complexity is one of the most pervasive factors affecting software development productivity. Assessing the impact of software complexity on development productivity helps to provide effective strategies for development process and project management. Previous research literatures have suggested that development productivity declines exponentially with software complexity. Borrowing insights from cognitive learning psychology and behavior theory, the relationship between software complexity and development productivity was reexamined in this paper. This research identified that the relationship partially showed a U-shaped as well as an inverted U-shaped curvilinear tendency. Furthermore, the range of complexity level that is beneficial for productivity has been presented, in which, the lower bound denotes the minimum degree of complexity at which personnel can be motivated, while the upper bound shows the maximum extent of complexity that staff can endure. Based on our findings, some guidelines for improving personnel management of software industry have also been given.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to describe the process of developing an accessible communication resource which enables people with a learning disability to reflect on their lives and raise issues of concern. Design/methodology/approach The process of making the resource and the facets that contribute to making it accessible are explored, e.g. design specification, the relationship between pictures and meaning, the order in which concepts are presented. The paper goes on to describe how the resource is put into practice using the format of a “Talking Mat”.® Talking Mats is a communication framework which has a strong evidence base that shows it improves the quality and quantity of information a person with a learning disability gives in a conversation. It provides practitioners with a consistent framework to support implementation. The impact of using the resource is explored through feedback from practitioners trained to use it and the stories that resulted. Findings A well-constructed resource can support people with a learning disability to express their views on what matters to them at a specific time and raise concerns they may have. The individual views that have emerged from people are varied. This resource enabled them to be genuinely included in planning the steps required to bring about positive change in their lives. Originality/value There is much emphasis on the development of accessible resources in the field of learning disability but little on the actual development process and the context of how resources are introduced. This paper aims to contribute to this knowledge base.
