The article is devoted to the Vladikavkaz city Nikolaev school, which was opened in 1874. Documents preserved in the fund of the Public Schools Directorate of the Central State Archive (CSA) of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania indicate that the school was a male educational institution and the name of the school was named after Nikolai Ugodnik. The school was originally a four-year school, later, in 1897, it was transformed into a six-year school. It was subordinate to the Ministry of Public Education and the Directorate of public schools in the Terek region. On November 3, 1895, the Society for Aid to the Poorest Students of the Vladikavkaz Nikolaev School was officially registered at the school. The fact of the creation of such a Society testifies to the fact that the school was not intended exclusively for children of privileged classes. The October Revolution made great changes in the educational system established by this period. Many schools have ceased to function. The same fate befell the Nikolaev School, but not immediately. The educational institution managed to prepare several generations of graduates who continued their education in higher educational institutions before and post-revolutionary Russia. The Nikolaev school entered the history of Vladikavkaz as a source of enlightenment, thanks to which dozens of young people who did not live not only in Vladikavkaz, but also those who entered here from remote areas of the region received education. The school existed until 1921, having survived two Russian revolutions and the period of the First World War.

The importance recently acquired by satisfaction studies in educational institutions has caused scientific interest in the welfare of members of the educational community to increase significantly, given the relationship of this variable, not only to labor productivity, but to the quality of interpersonal relationships within our schools, which is especially necessary in those of rural type. In this regard, we present the following study, funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Spain with the reference AP2007 – 00294, and whose interest focused on knowing those aspects of social interactions with the rest of the members of the educational community of rural schools in the province of Granada more pleasing and displeasing to their teachers respectively. For this purpose, a descriptive and non-experimental research, focused on the implementation of the survey technique on a sample of 221 teachers in Grenadian rural public schools was designed. Thanks to this methodology, it has been found that rural teachers in Granada value far more the daily support and the friendship of the rest of their coworkers than the involvement of the families in the education of their children or the cooperation of the public administration with the problems of rural educational centers, a result already supported by other scientific research carried out on the subject in the same context.

As a national education subsystem, Islamic education should contribute to building and improving the quality of Indonesian people by creating the best generation (khairunnas / goden generation), which is a generation that excels in science and technology and is able to practice it in daily life. To achieve this goal, Islamic education must be managed optimally through the Islamic Education Institution (LPI). Management of Islamic education institutions whose numbers and shapes are very large certainly requires its own strategy to achieve productivity and quality output. Various concepts and thoughts related to management strategies are urgently needed so that Islamic Education Institutions are no longer regarded as second-class educational institutions that have not been able to fulfill the people's beliefs and needs for quality education. In this paper two management strategies are offered, namely general strategies and specific strategies. In general, strategies are offered based on the Sirozi concept which includes substantive, bottom-up, deregulatory, and cooperative strategies. While specifically applying the management functions of Islamic Education (planning, organizing, implementing / directing and supervising) comprehensively and consistently is considered a smart and futuristic strategic step.

In this article we report the final results of a multiple case study that brought together the experiences and reflections of student teachers, cooperating teachers and advisors about action research and its effect on their professional development. Through observations, interviews, focus groups, and research reports analyses, the researchers recognized the personal, professional, and political dimensions that guide participants’ teaching and research actions. Findings shed some light on issues such as collaboration and engagement to keep conversations that actually connect life in schools and life at the university, and to support continuous learning for teachers. The insights we gained evidenced that the teachers, students, and administrators in the teaching program and their colleagues in the public schools need to strengthen their links through proposals of experiential learning which promote joint efforts, symmetric relationships, and expertise co-construction; thus, enabling all participants to validate their process as individuals, as members of educational institutions, and as key actors in promoting and sustaining a better society.
