Purpose: The purpose of the study was to assess the influence of supplier evaluation criteria on procurement performance of non-governmental organizations in Kenya with an aim of making recommendations on proper use of supplier evaluation.Methodology: This research study adopted a descriptive research design approach. The researcher preferred this method because it allowed an in-depth study of the subject.  The target population was 168 heads of procurement. The 2018 NGO coordination board directory has a listing of all the 168 NGO’s spread all over the country. The study will combine two methods in its data collection that is, questionnaires and key informant interviews. After data collection, quantitative data was coded using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 20. Data was analyzed through descriptive statistical methods such as means, standard deviation, frequencies and percentage. Inferential analyses were used in relation to correlation analysis and regression analysis to test the relationship between the four explanatory variables and the explained variable. Results: The independent variables reported R value of .846 indicating that there is perfect relationship between dependent variable and independent variables. R square value of 0.716 which means that 71.6% of the corresponding variation in procurement performance of the non-governmental organizations can be explained or predicted by (supplier commitment to quality,  supplier financial status, supplier technical expertise, supplier basic profile) which indicated that the model fitted the study data. The results of regression analysis revealed that there was a significant positive relationship between dependent variable and independent variable at (β = 1.240), p=0.00 <0.05).Conclusion: The response rate of the study was 71%. The findings of the study indicated that supplier commitment to quality, supplier financial status, supplier technical expertise and supplier basic profile have a positive relationship with procurement performance of NGO’s in KenyaContribution to theory, practice and policy: the study recommended that NGO’s should embrace supplier evaluation criteria so as to improve procurement performance and further researches should to be carried out in other institutions to find out if the same results can be obtained.

Research on consumer purchasing decisions is often done. In this study aims to partially and simultaneously determine the level of income and lifestyle variables on purchasing decisions. The population in this study all employees of UD.Dewi Sri Elektronik Lamongan numbered 50 people from the population taken 50 employees. Data collection techniques are done by giving questions to respondents using a questionnaire with a Likert scale because the answers of the instruments have different gradations. The analytical method used to analyze the effect of income and lifestyle variables on purchasing decisions is to use multiple regression analysis with the help of the SPSS version 20 statistical program. And test the hypothesis based on the p value> 0.05 then the alternative hypothesis is rejected and vice versa. From the research results, it is obtained that partially the level of lifestyle influences productivity on purchasing decisions, simultaneously the F test has a significant influence of independent variables with the dependent variable, so it can be concluded that lifestyle variables have a more dominant influence than income. Lifestyle is an activity such as the thing is people work, and a person's lifestyle will also affect the choice of an item that will be purchased, so that consumers will make a purchase decision on the goods needed by consumers UD.Dewi Sri Elektronik Lamongan

The current study endeavours to investigate the negative impact created due to the existence of the international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) on the overall educational system in Sudan. It also attempts to determine how the great advantages and the big gains inspire EFL teachers to prefer working for these organizations rather than working for ministry of education, and how this situation generally influenced teaching and learning English. Under the umbrella of the humanitarian crises missions, Sudan has witnessed a rush of numerous and funded NGOs during the last two decades, particularly at some high conflict zones such as the Blue Nile, South Kordofan and Darfur states. Most of these organizations adopt English language as a means of communication. They also offer better opportunities to their employees compared to other local institutions including the ministry of education. These gains have motivated many English language professionals including EFL teachers to implement job hunting strategies while attempting to work for these NGOs. In so doing, they are willing and able to work as facilitators, administrators, security officers, secretaries and part-time employees with either long-term or short-term contracts. Among the luckiest ones who successfully managed to get better job opportunities are the EFL teachers. It seems as if working for such internationally recognized and well-paid organizations is better than working for ministry of education for the majority of teachers. Although working for these NGOs creates a good opportunity for the qualified teachers to improve their overall living standard and enables them to provide better life, healthcare system as well as sustainable better education to their families. However, the ministry of education’s loss of the qualified teachers has negatively impact the overall education system in the country. Shortages of English teachers have highly been reported during the last decade, particularly at the public sector. The data collection for the current study goes through designing and distributing a questionnaire to a sample of EFL teachers, students, and some interested parties in Al - Fashir area. The data collection process as well as its analysis resulted into the following:The existence of the international NGOs in Sudan has motivated the qualified EFL teachers to quit their jobs in ministry of education and work for such organizations.Their existence has indirectly and negatively been influencing the education system in Sudan, particularly the process of teaching and learning English language as a school subject.
