Analysis of Highway Addressable Remote Transducer (HART) protocol is important in reliability evaluation of HART based systems. The present work proposes a virtual instrument based solution for HART signal analysis that includes a digital oscilloscope with GPIB interface, a HART modem, a PC with a GPIB interface board and a RS232 port, and a software component developed in LabVIEW. The HART analyser permits the visualisation of signals that correspond to the HART protocol, gives access to data coming from field instruments and has the ability to analyse and modify field instrument performance.

A photoacoustic microscope system based on virtual instrument development environment is presented, including ultrasonic sensor, digital oscilloscope, laser diode, personal calculation and other hardware platforms. and developed supporting software and image reconstruction algorithms. In the subcutaneous angiography experiment, the distribution characteristics of the ear blood vessels in mouse were completely reproduced perfectly, and the spatial resolution of the system can reach 14um. The system and method can potentially to develop into a non-invasive biological tissue structure and functional imaging technique.

Aiming at the intelligent integrated detection System for test and measurement of many different missiles, utilizing the data acquisition technology, virtual instrument technology and signal analysis technology synthetically, in this paper, we introduced the system architecture and accomplished the hardware design and software implementation. Practical applications of the prototype system have proven that this intelligent integrated detection system has more powerful functions, better interaction and more convenient operation than the traditional automatic test system(ATS), it have met the needs of test and measurement of several different missiles

By taking full advantage of the technologies of data acquisition, signal analysis and processing and fault diagnosis, this thesis carries out a research on the realization method of mine hoist bearing condition monitoring and fault diagnosis. Firstly, this thesis takes a technical analysis for rolling bearing. Secondly, based on determining the overall framework and using a virtual instrument software (Labview), it carries out a program development of the system. The developed system not only integrates the functions of traditional instruments, but also describes the bearing states and the types of bearing failure accurately according to the running status of the monitored bearings. It provides technical support for the mine hoist repair and maintenance and scientific protection for its safe running.

The virtual instrument is the computer-based instrument. The close integration between computer and instrument is one important instrument development direction. The virtual digital storage oscilloscope introduced in the paper has some additional functions except the common oscilloscope functions, its additional functions are spectral analysis, parameter automatic measurement, complex conditions trigger and data storage. The virtual digital storage oscilloscope communicates with the PC software through USB port. The paper discusses the overall design ideas of virtual digital storage oscilloscope, and the composition and functions of the circuits.

This paper presents the basic principle of gas leak ultrasonic produce, the use of ultrasonic transducer array collecting leak ultrasonic signal, the signal filtering and power spectrum estimation of signal processing algorithms, intelligent gas leak detection system is developed. The detector is convenient to use, can realize quick check gas leak, application of virtual instrument for leakage signal analysis and processing, implementation of gas leak detection and estimation of leakage.

This paper describes the multi-sensor of the data acquisition and signal analyzing based on the development of virtual instrument. It sets up a virtual instrumentation with the function of data acquisition and signal analysis, based on computer, temperature sensor, displacement sensor, PCI data acquisition card, and software of LabVIEW8.5 .The data acquisition, preprocessing, displaying, storage and data playback? are integrated in this platform, forming an easy-to-use temperature and thermal error detection system.

This paper designed a signal acquisition and analysis system based on the characteristics of the graphical programming language of LabVIEW. The system adopted NI USB -9234 data collection card, applied with the virtual instrument and related technology for the signal collecting and processing system. The system also has dual-channel data acquisition, real time data acquisition, signal analysis in time domain and frequency domain, FFT implementation Waterfall conversion, signal simulation capabilities. On the basis of analysis the systems functional requirements, a detailed description of the functional programming and design of the front panel is approached. At last the feasibility of system is experimental inspected and detailed. Experiments have shown that the virtual instrument is a good solution to the efficient implementation of various missions.
