The present work aims to highlight a choral score by composer Tudor Jarda, both from a structural analysis perspective and by presenting the context of its composition. Suita a III-a bihoreană [The Third Suite from Bihor] demonstrates an apposition of neomodal musical language with folkloric style composition techniques.

The oral apparatus of Tetrahymena pyriformis was isolated using a non-ionic detergent to disrupt the cell membrane. The mouth consists largely of basal bodies and microfilaments. Each basal body is attached to the mouth by a basal plate which is integrated into the meshwork of microfilaments that confers upon the oral apparatus its structural integrity. Each basal body is composed of 9 triplet microtubules. Two of the 3 tubules, subfibres ‘A’ and ‘B’ are composed of filamentous rows of globules with a spacing of 4.5nm. The third tubule, subfibre ‘C’, is only one-third the length of the basal body.

The purpose of this study was to find the structure janturan of the Yogyakarta shadow puppet. A further goal of this research is to find a method for learning puppetry language, especially janturan language. To achieve the above objectives, the researchers will first identify and categorize the structure of janturan carried out by Ki Hadi Sugito, Ki Timbul Hadiprayitno, Ki Suparman, and Mudjanattistomo. Second, the grammatical structure of the Yogyakarta senior puppeteers’ puppets wasthen reduced to the grammatical structure of the Yogyakarta shadow puppet show. To find the structure janturan of Yogyakarta Purwa shadow puppet, this study will apply structural analysis. The concept of tatas in chess aesthetics is the version of Soetarno et al. (2007) and the grammatical structure of the Sasangka version (1989) were used as analysis blades in this study. Janturan is the ukara-ukara (‘sentences’) kenès which are arranged in a complete, sequential, and not overlapping manner. As a ukara certainly has a grammatical structure. To be able to find the grammatical structure of scattering, the tatas concept and the grammatical theory of Javanese language are used. From the results of the study of the (grammatical) structure of the Yogyakarta senior mastermind’s succession, the following pattern is obtained: The first part is a section that contains worship. The second part of the janturan contains the greatness of the kingdom which is the center of storytelling. The third part of janturan contains the great king in the great kingdom who is the center of storytelling. The fourth part of the janturan is about the preparation of the trial and those present at the hearing. It is expected that the results of this study can improve teaching materials in thesubject of Bahasa Pedalangan, Pedalangan Rhetoric, and Basics of Pakeliran in the Pedalangan Department.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menemukan struktur janturan wayang kulit purwa Yogyakarta. Tujuan lebih jauh dari penelitian ini ialah menemukan satu metode belajar bahasa pedalangan khususnya bahasa janturan. Untuk mencapai tujuan di atas, pertama-tama peneliti akan mengidentifikasi dan mengkategorikan struktur janturan yang dibawakan oleh Ki Hadi Sugito, Ki Timbul Hadiprayitno, Ki Suparman, dan Mudjanattistomo. Kedua, struktur gramatikal janturan dalang-dalangsenior Yogyakarta tersebut kemudian direduksi menjadi struktur gramatikal janturan wayang kulit purwa Yogyakarta. Untuk menemukan struktur janturan wayang kulit purwa Yogyakarta penelitian ini akan menerapkan analisis struktural. Konsep tatas dalam estetika catur versi Soetarno dkk. (2007) dan struktur gramatikal ukara versi Sasangka (1989) digunakan sebagai pisau analisis dalam penelitian ini. Janturanmerupakan ukara-ukara (‘kalimat-kalimat’) kenès yang disusun secara lengkap, urut, dan tidak tumpang tindih. Sebagai sebuah ukara tentu memiliki struktur gramatikal. Untuk dapat menemukan struktur gramatikal janturan digunakan konsep tatas dan teori struktur gramatikal bahasa Jawa. Dari hasil pelacakan terhadap struktur (gramatikal) janturan para dalang senior Yogyakarta, diperoleh pola sebagai berikut: Bagian pertama merupakan satu bagian yang berisi tentang doa pemujaan.  Bagian kedua dari janturan berisi tentang kebesaran kerajaan yang menjadi pusat penceritaan. Bagian ketiga dari janturan berisi tentang raja agung di kerajaan besar yang menjadi pusat penceritaan. Bagian keempat dari janturan berisi tentang persiapan sidang dan yang hadir di dalam sidang. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat menyempurnakanbahan ajar mata kuliah Bahasa Pedalangan, Retorika Pedalangan, dan Dasar-dasar Pakeliran di Jurusan Pedalangan.

There have been claims that the Marxist approaches to the history are no longer tenable. This idea that Marx has lost such relevance to historiography is due to the failure of his prophesies, including the three particular assumptions: the anti-universalism, the neglect of cultural representation and discourses, and the success of capitalism. Anti-universalism claims that no history can ever be written, except from the historian's own point of view and the interests and values which come with it. In the case of Marx, whose main interest in history is the discovery of the path of man to communism, any claim to universal validity made him compromised from the outset by the local provenance of his and Engel's experience of capitalism and the intensity of their disapproval. The second assumption is Marx's neglect of cultural representations and discourses. By neglecting the sufferings and aspirations of the people who were the victims of capitalist exploitation, Marx missed the opportunity to give his moral denunciation of capitalism added perlocutionary force. The third assumption is the success of capitalism in beating the Marxists. On this view, Marx failed to allow the possibility that when the time came for the capitalist and socialist modes of production to compete directly with one another, it would be the capitalist modes of production that would be stronger between the two. Nevertheless, despite the failure of some of the Marxist prophesies and theories, it is nonetheless significant in the writing of history, which needs explanation. Marxism still has much to offer in the structural analysis of the development of history.

Bartók's mature musical language was born of both folk and art-music sources which influenced the composer in equal measure. The Three Studies for piano, Op. 18, represent a significant step in the evolution of the composers synthesis of the art-music source. All three etudes are based on equal-interval chains called interval cycles. Each of the three etudes represents a stage in the process of intervallic augmentation the composer named diatonic expansion. This concept, together with that of chromatic compression, is fundamental to all his mature works. The first etude expands the chromatic scale to two whole-tone scales. In the second etude the intervals are expanded to include the minor and major thirds as well as the perfect fourth, while in the third etude the tritone becomes the final step in the expansion process. The interactions of the ever-expanding interval cycles generate an array of diatonic, non-diatonic and abstract pitch collections. Parts of the opus rely on the concept of tonal progression based on axes of symmetry, which reached its perfection in later works such as the Out of Doors Suite and Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta.

Oyek-river basin (right tributary of the Kuda-river) was used as a model site for revealing the features of the structure of river basins in the low-water karst region. Using the methodical approach of the Horton analysis, which was improved by Yu. G. Simonov, the main structural indices of the basin - bifurcation indices, lengths, areas, slopes, geomorphological work for sub-basins of the third order were determined. An analysis of the distribution of indices showed the greatest spread of the western part of the basin in the upper links of the erosion network. It is determined that the third-order sub-basins located in the western part within the Irkutsk-Cheremkhovskaya plain have the greatest homogeneity of structural indices, and the sub-basins of the Kudinskaya depression have the greatest diversity in the distribution of structural indices. An analysis of the distribution of the indicators of geomorphological work showed that significant work on the transfer of matter is performed by tributaries of the first orders of the western part of the basin, and maximum inflows are carried out in tributaries in the basins with the largest areas.

Sir Peter Maxwell Davies' Tenth Symphony was given its premiere by the London Symphony Orchestra and Chorus at the Barbican on 2 February 2014. The work concerns itself with both the architecture and the death of Francesco Borromini; while perhaps an unusual subject for a symphony, there is precedence in Maxwell Davies's work, as the same man is the subject of his Third Naxos Quartet, and the Third Symphony takes Brunelleschi as its subject. Maxwell Davies has suggested direct links between Borromini's creations and his own – in the programme note we discover that ‘the precise parameters and proportions by which a huge basilica of Borromini's was constructed’ control portions of the work – and indeed the architect's presence pervades the symphony. As well as guiding Maxwell Davies's constructive parameters in the instrumental movements, Borromini is the subject of the chorus' music throughout and almost becomes a character in an operatic scena in the final passage, as he plays out his own suicide to the backdrop of the chorus intoning the names of his most celebrated work. Yet this new symphony rarely betrays its rigorous origins, and aside from passages for percussion mimetic of building activity (hammers, vibraphone, anvils and so on) many aspects in fact suggest a softer, smoother musical language.

Введение. Синтаксис селькупского языка долгое время оставался «белым пятном» на лингвистической карте самодийского языкознания. Фонология, морфология и лексический состав селькупских диалектов не раз становились предметом научных изысканий представителей различных научных лингвистических школ. Исследованию синтаксических особенностей селькупского языка посвящено гораздо меньше научных трудов, а большинство из этого небольшого количества базируются на материале северных диалектов, в то время как центральные и южные диалекты селькупского языка долгое время оставались вне поля зрения лингвистов. Данные факторы обусловливают актуальность предпринятого исследования. Материал и методы. Материалом исследования послужили 26 частушек на нарымском диалекте селькупского языка. Основными методами исследования выступили общенаучные (анализ, синтез, обобщение) и частнонаучные (лингвистические) методы: сравнительно-сопоставительный, описательный, метод анализа непосредственно составляющих. Результаты и обсуждение. Представлен краткий обзор исследований синтаксиса различных диалектов селькупского языка, осуществлен структурный анализ текстов частушек нарымских селькупов, проанализирован порядок слов, рассмотрен повтор как один из основных фольклорных приемов. По своей структуре 60,9 % проанализированных предложений представляют собой двусоставные предложения, 39,1 % – односоставные предложения. Самым частотным порядком слов в двусоставных предложениях является SVO (16,66 %), на втором месте SOV (7 %), на третьем OSV (4,7 %), единичны предложения с порядком слов OVS (2,38 %). Самыми частотными повторами, выявленными в ходе исследования, явились концентрирующие повторы. Заключение. Частушка как особый фольклорный жанр, заимствованный у русских, получила широкое распространение среди нарымских селькупов. Данный жанр предполагает наличие рифмы и накладывает отпечаток на структурную и синтаксическую организацию предложения. Повторы выполняют функцию структурной организации частушечного текста, выделяя наиболее значимые компоненты содержания, и в меньшей степени участвуют в его синтаксической организации.Introduction. The syntax of the Selkup language has long remained a “white spot” on the linguistic map of the Samoyed linguistics. Phonology, morphology and vocabulary of Selkup dialects have repeatedly been the subject of scientific researches by representatives of various scientific linguistic schools. Much fewer scientific works are devoted to research of the syntactic features of the Selkup language, and most of this small number are based on material from the Northern dialects, while the Central and Southern dialects of the Selkup language have long remained out of the view of linguists. These factors make the study relevant. Material and methods. The material of the study are 30 four-line racy folk rhymes in the Narym dialect of the Selkup language. The main methods of the research are popular scientific (analysis, synthesis, generalization) and specific scientific (linguistic) methods: comparative, descriptive, method of immediate constituent analysis. Results and discussions. A brief overview of the syntax studies of different dialects of the Selkup language is presented, structural analysis of the texts of the four-line racy folk rhymes of the Narym Selkups is carried out, word order is analyzed, repetition as one of the main folklore techniques is considered. In terms of structure, 60.9 % of the sentences analyzed are two-part sentences, 39.1 % are one-part sentences. The most frequent word order in two-part sentences is SVO (16.66 %), in the second place is SOV (7 %), in the third - OSV (4.7 %); there are very few sentences with word order OVS (2.38 %). The most frequent repetitions revealed in the study are concentrating repetitions. Conclusion. A four-line racy folk rhyme as a special folklore genre borrowed from the Russians became widespread among the Narym Selkups. This genre is expected to have rhyme and influences the structural and syntactic organization of the sentence. Repetitions serve the function of structural organization of the text of a fourline racy folk rhyme, highlighting the most significant content components, and are less involved in its syntactic organization.

In the article the surnames of the village Bozhykivtsi are analyzes. At the same time, it is indicated that today significant successes have been in general achieved in the study of anthroponymic heritage of Ukraine, in particular, the surnames of Hutsul region (B. B. Blyzniuk), Boykivshchyna (G. E. Buchko), Lubenshchyna (L. O. Kravchenko), Opillya (H. D. Panchuk), Upper Transnistria (I. D. Farion), etc. The purpose of our research is to analyze the anthroponyms of the village of Bozhykivtsi and to carry out their lexical-semantic and word-forming characteristics on three time periods (1855, 1946 – 1949 and 1986 – 1990), to show the changes in the composition on the basis of a comparative analysis of the surnames. The funds of archives were the sources of the study of surnames, as a result of which a card index was compiled. The material for the study was 649 surnames. The word-forming-structural analysis of surnames of the village of Bozhykivtsi allowed to distinguish morphological and lexical-semantic formations. Anthropo unitst of the village Bozhikivtsi that has been formed by the lexico-semantic way are motivated by: 1) onymic vocabulary: a) surname, corresponding to the personal name; b) surnames corresponding to toponyms; 2) appellate vocabulary: a) surnames related to nouns: non-derivatives and derivatives; b) surnames related to composites; c) surnames related to adjectives. The morphological way of creating anthroponyms is represented only by suffixation. Surnames are formed with the help of patronymics (-евич / -ович, -ич), polyfunctional (-енк-о, -ук / -’ук, -чук, -ик, -ськ-ий / -цьк-ий, -ак / -’ак, -чак, -к-о, -ець, -ан/-’ан, -унь, -л-о, -ій, -ок, -ач), possessive (-ов / -ев / -єв / -ів , -ин / -ін) formants. Thus, it has been established that 44% of the surnames of the first period are preserved in the third time period, so 56% of anthroponyms are new, which is primarily due to the migration of the inhabitants. It was found that at all stages, more names motivated by appeals, less – proper names. Anthroponyms with uncertaine semantics consist 2-3%. Lexical-semantic formations dominated in the first time period, and the morphological one in the second and third periods. The most productive forms wereук/-’ук/-чук, -ськ/-цьк.

Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk membandingkan cerpen mana dari dua buku kumpulan cerpen karya Darpan yang lebih cocok untuk bahan pembelajaran, baik dikaji dari strukturnya, maupun etnopedagogiknya. Selain itu, peneliti mempunyai rasa penasaran akan karya pengarang orang Karawang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif, metode deskriptif, dan tekhnik yang digunakan yaitu studi pustaka. Dari hasil penelitian, 80% cerpen yang dianalisis dari dua kumpulan cerpen Nu Harayang Dihargaan dan Rusiah Kaopatwelas mempunyai struktur dan nilai pendidikan karakter. Hasil analisis struktur yang melingkupi tema, fakta cerita, dan sarana sastra, membuktikan bahwa tema kemanusiaan lebih dominan dari dua kumpulan cerpen. Tema kemanusiaan di sini lebih berpusat ke dalam tingginya martabat manusia, dan nilai-nilai pepatah orang tua ke anaknya. Alur yang dipakai oleh pengarang dari dua kumpulan carpon lebih dominan ke dalam alur maju dan mundur. Latar yang sering dipakai lebih menggambarkan daerah basisir, sedangkan sudut pandang lebih dominan orang ketiga tidak tersingkir. Dalam analisis nilai pendidikan karakter, lebih dominan nilai semangat kebangsaan, jujur, menghargai prestasi, religi, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, demokrasi, rasa ingin tahu, mandiri, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab.  Kesimpulan dari analisis dua kumpulan cerpen menunjukkan bahwa kumpulan cerpen Nu Harayang Dihargaan dan Rusiah Kaopatwelas mempunyai struktur, dan nilai pendidikan karakter. Hasil penelitian bisa dimanfaatkan untuk alternatif bahan pembelajaran sastra di SMA, dan bisa digunakan untuk cerminan dalam kehidupan seharihari.AbstractThis study has the objective to compare the significance of the two books of short stories of Darpan‟s works. They are more suitable for learning materials, based on the perspectives of structure and ethnopedagogy. In addition, there is a curiosity considering the fact that the author is from Karawang. The methods used in this study were qualitative and descriptive methods. The study also employed literature review. Based on the results, 80% of the stories contained in both books have the structure and the values of character education. Results of the structural analysis cover themes, the facts of the stories, and the means of literature. The dominant theme of the two short stories collection is humanity. The theme of humanity is centered in the high human dignity and values of the proverbs from parents to children. The plot of the stories are a mix of forwad and backward. The backgrounds that are frequently used mostly illustrate coastal area. The dominant viewpoint is the third person. The value of character education is more dominant to the value of the national spirit, honesty, recognizing excellence, religion, tolerance, discipline, hard work, democracy, curiosity, independence, social care, and responsibility. In conclusion, the two collections of short stories have the structure and the values of character education. They can be used as alternatives of literature learning materials in high school, as well as for reflection in daily life.
