Purpose: This study examined the influence of strategic planning and crisis management style in an organization.Methodology: The approach adopted is theoretical because it was assessed based on extant literature.Findings: The result of the findings revealed that strategic planning enhances management of crisis. Also, any crisis management style applied at a given catastrophe will determine if the destruction will be minor or major disaster. Lastly, organization that employs strategic approach to crisis management style will be pro-active in managing crisis.Recommendation: for any organization to seal through crisis with minimal loss, they should incorporate strategic approach to crisis management and also put in place strategic/crisis management team that will be able to manage crisis within the shortest period of time. Finally, employees should be trained and retained on the positive and negative effect of crisis; they should also be sensitized on how to adapt to changing circumstances that might occur before, during and after crisis.

In the study, descriptive scanning method was used, and the data obtained were analyzed by making statistical procedures such as frequency, correlation, regression analysis. It was found that democratic management style and paternalist management style had a positive effect on trainers’ job motivation. However, the liberal management style and authoritarian management style were found to have a negative effect on trainers’ job motivation.

Relatively little is known about how the composition of individual conflict management styles affects group functioning. This is unfortunate because, specifically in short-term project groups, this conflict management style composition may be pivotal given the strong task focus rather than establishing norms to guide or manage conflict. Therefore, we examined whether conflict style asymmetry within short-term project groups affects the link between intragroup conflict and the performance of groups. Data were collected among short-term project groups and the results suggest that asymmetry in both forcing and the problem-solving conflict management styles moderates the negative effect of task, relationship, and process conflicts on the performance of groups. We offer a discussion of the implications of these findings.

A conceptual model linking the demographic heterogeneity of the top management team to comprehensiveness of strategic planning is developed. Planning comprehensiveness is one of the key dimensions underlying the dominant models of formulation of strategy, consistent with the tradition of “synoptic” strategic planning. Drawing on group process theory, heterogeneity among team members in outlooks and perspectives, represented by their demographic backgrounds, is expected to stimulate an open, broad, and challenge-oriented approach to the process of strategic planning, consistent with comprehensiveness. Heterogeneity on five characteristics—age, organizational tenure, team tenure, functional background, and educational curriculum—was included. Also discussed are the complexities of managing the group process of a heterogeneous team and additional influences, external to the team, on the comprehensiveness of strategic planning.

The present study was aimed to examine the effect of relationship-oriented and task-oriented management styles on organizational atmosphere in Tehran's high schools in 2016. Research method was practical in terms of objective; and it was survey-descriptive in terms of data collection. The statistical population consisted of all high school managers in Tehran, from which 322 individuals were selected as sample size, using Cochran Formula and Stratified Cluster Sampling Method. Data collection was done based on Halpin and Croft's Organizational Climate questionnaire, and Bardtz and Matenkas's management Style questionnaire. After collecting the questionnaires, data were examined and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling method and Smart PLS software in two sections: 1) measurement model and 2) structural section. In the first section, technical features of the questionnaires included reliability, convergent validity, divergent validity, which were examined through PLS. In the second section, the software's significance coefficients were used for examining research hypotheses. Finally, findings approved of the effect of relationship-oriented and task-oriented management styles on organizational climate in Tehran's high schools.

The purpose of this study is to develop a model that relates directly and indirectly to the performance achievement of Free Trade Zone Development Agency in Indonesia including the construct of strategic planning and the role of innovation as mediation in supporting the relationship of independent variables and dependent variable. The proposed mpdel was tested using SmartPLS ver. 3.0 for data processing. Data was collected from questionnaires completed by 109 samples who were seating as executives/head of department of Free Trade Zone Development Agencies in Indonesia. The four hypotheses tested in this study conclude that the construct of strategic planning has negative effect and not significant to the performance of the agencies, but indirectly has a significant effect on performance if it through innovation as a mediation. Strategic planning directly have significant relation on innovation, and innovation also evidenced to have strong influence in achieving organization performance. This study indicates that the Agency may achieve great performance when they can practically set up a strategic planning and optimize innovation ability within the organization.

Crypto Indexes are spreading and increasing in numbers recently. HODL is an index reflecting 75% of changes in the crypto market. Investors who aim to have exposure to crypto market may invest in these indexes. Volume of the HODL is found to be statistically significant on HODL return. İt shows that volume triggers demand for this Index. VIX and volume of HODL are both found to have a negative effect (95%) and (90%), respectively on BTC returns. VIX is found to have a positive effect (95%) but HODL volume has a negative effect (95%) on BTC Volume. This study also aims to discuss crypto currency investment rationale and the risks embedded in these investments. The future of tokens and coins is addressed with the related literature. Crypto currencies as an asset class may be an alternative for investors; the robustness of such an option is challanged in this study.
