The great name of a character immortalized into the title of some vital objects in a regionconsequently carries the purposeof giving role models for character development, at least for local residents. This article raises the issue of positive valuesin character of Haluoleo figure for character development. The data are descriptions of Haluoleo character taken fromHaluoleo story of Tolaki folklore which has been published, as primary data source. The data analysis is done in twosteps, namely first level semiotic readings and second level semiotic readings. From the analysis results obtained theextraction of moral values in character Haluoleo figure as follows: (1) harmonization between softness and firmness; (2)accuracy in mapping needs and self-empowering to fulfill them as well; (3) put forward the equation for the sake oftogetherness and brotherhood; (4) sincerity; (5) respect for birth; (6) humble attitude; and (7) respect and honor friendsand enemies proportionally AbstrakNama besar seorang tokoh yang diabadikan menjadi nama beberapa objek vital di suatu wilayahtentu mengemban maksud pemberian teladan bagi pengembangan karakter, setidaknya bagi wargasetempat. Artikel ini mengangkat permasalahan nilai positif dalam karakter tokoh Haluoleo bagipengembangan karakter. Data berupa deskripsi karakter tokoh Haluoleo yang diambil dari sumberdata berupa kisah Haluoleo versi cerita rakyat Tolaki yang sudah diterbitkan. Analisis data dilakukandalam dua tahap, yaitu pembacaan semiotik tingkat pertama dan pembacaan semiotik tingkat kedua.Dari hasil analisis diperoleh ekstraksi nilai positif dalam karakter tokoh Haluoleo sebagai berikut (1)harmonisasi antara kelembutan dan ketegasan; (2) ketepatan dalam memetakan kebutuhan sekaligusmemberdayakan dirinya untuk memenuhinya; (3) mengedepankan persamaan demi kebersamaandan persaudaraan; (4) ketulusan; (5) menghargai kelahiran; (6) sikap rendah hati; dan (7) menghargaidan menghormati kawan maupun lawan secara proporsional.

The Ideal

This study aims to seek moral values of leadership in the Javanese culture derive from Serat Wedhatama (Wedhatama Script) by Mangkunagara IV. The Indonesian local wisdom of literary works was intellectual asset must be explore and transform in the daily life in order to realize prosperous of Indonesian society. This research used philosophical research method in which of Serat Wedhatama by Mangkunagara IV as a primary data source. The technique of data analysis used hermeneutical method with three procedure: verstehen, interpretation, and hermeneutik. The results showed that the moral values in Serat Wedhatama work of Mangkunagara IV consist of the value of courage (satriya), simplicity (prasaja), the kindness (setya budya), sincerity, and the religious values. Panembahan Senapati is the ideal Javanese leader who succeeds bringing happiness and prosperity to all Javanese people. The implementation of leadership based on these moral values by Mangkunagara IV succeed brought prosperous for Mangkunegaran people.

This research aims to determine the students' errors in writing report text at eight grade SMP N 3 Timang Gajah students. The research was conduct using a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The primary data source is the eighth-grade students and the teacher English at SMP N 3 Timang Gajah. The data collection instrument uses observation sheets, interview sheets, and the documentary (test) study and the researcher's data analysis using Miles and Huberman models, including data reduction, display, and verification. The percentage of grade VIII students' achievement in writing report text in the reference made is low, namely only reaching: general nouns 22.04%, at present tense 22.57%, on linking verbs 29.17% and action verbs are 26.21%. In conclusion, the students still error in writing report text at grade VIII students of SMP N 3 Timang Gajah. Therefore, they should have great motivation and interest in learning report text and get used to practicing it in everyday life.

Companies are required to arrange their financial statements because it is the important basis to determine the recognition of revenues and expenses in accordance with the applicable rules. The research object in this case is PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Megamas Branch. The purpose was to determine and evaluate the implementation of the recognition of revenues and expenses in PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Megamas Branch. Data analysis is using qualitative method. The type of data is using primary data. Source of the data is using documentation method. This study found that the company adopted PSAK No. 23 (Revised 2010), Revenues, which identifies the fulfillment of the criteria of revenue recognition, the recognition of revenues and expenses done by using the accrual basis, and measurement of revenue recorded by the cash receipts in accordance with PSAK No. 23, paragraph 8.

Three Stages

<p>This paper examines the role of the Majelis Taklim Nurul Huda in Strengthening Religious Character and social care in Bone Regency. This type of research is qualitative, located in the Nurul Huda mosque, the largest mosque in Bajoe, the capital of Tanete Riattang Timur District, Bone Regency. The primary data source is obtained from the management of the Assembly Taklim Nurul Huda, secondary data obtained from a variety of relevant posts. Data were collected through interviews and observations as well as document searches, so that the research instruments were in the form of observation guidelines, interview guides, and documentation tools. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data exposure, conclusion and verification. The results showed that the role of the Majelis Taklim Nurul Huda in Strengthening Religious Character was seen in the members and the surrounding community having a deep faith, diligent worship, and noble character. Meanwhile, the positive impact of the development of the Majelis Taklim in shaping the character of social care can be seen in the existence of various activities in facilitating social activities.</p>

This study attempts to analyze a fairy tale novel entitled “The Adventure of Pinocchio”, which talks about the story of the irrepressible marionette who longed to become a real boy. This study focuses on revealing the categories of moral value and describing the building children's character implied in this novel. To analyze this novel, the researcher uses two principles theory to find out the objectives of the studies. There are moral values argued by Linda & Eyre and the theory of children’s character building based on Lewis. The method of this study is qualitative research, which means it does not need statistical procedure to analyze the material. This study merely uses “The Adventure of Pinocchio,” a novel by Carlo Collodi, translated into English version by Carol Della Chiesa as the primary data source. At the same time, the secondary data sources are taken from other literary books and related references to support and complete the primary data. As a result, the researcher finds that some elements of moral values such as love and affection, sensitivity and not-selfish, bravery, self-discipline, and moderation occurred in the content of the novel. Meanwhile, building children's character can be implied through “The Adventure of Pinocchio's” fairy tale: honesty, responsible, regard, respect, and compassionated.

Rahwana Putih, a novel by Sri Teddy Rusdy, reveals the figure of Rahwana with good characters and behaviours. The characters appeared contain moral values that can be considered as a role model. This phenomena is interesting to be explored deeply because, here, Rahwana is presented differently from its stereotype in all puppet stories. Based on this research background, this study aims to analyze moral values contained in Rahwana Putih by Sri Teddy Rusdy. Structuralism approach is used to analyze the moral values on Rahwana figure which emphasizes on intrinsic elements of fiction works. The MacIntyre’s theory of morality that cores on truthfulness and trust, justice, and courage is also applied to observe these values. The method used in this study is analytical descriptive and it consists of primary and secondary data sources. The primary data source is Rahwana Putih by Sri Teddy Rusdy, while the secondary data sources are journals and references which are relevant to the research problem. The techniques for collecting data comprise reading, classifying, reducing and describing data. The technique used to analyze the data is content analysis. The results show that the moral values appeared in Rahwana’s characters embrace honesty, trust, justice and courage are the manifestation of Javanese leadership concept called astabrata.

This paper aims to examine the weakness that exist in the sportentertainment agreement between professional boxers and current managers. This study is included in the sociological juridicial study due to existence of field activities to find out the real situation in the field. The conceptual framework begins with the emergence of a lack fair sense of the boxer in his profession as an athlete. Primary data source from the interview result plunged into the field with the responses of professional athletes, while the secondary data sources are references related to the title, such as legislation relating to the agreement as well as bibliographic references. While data analysis using content analysis. The results indicate there is still much execution of agreement between professional athletes and managers who harmed the athlete due to lack of understanding of the agreement law

This research aims to determine the effect of accrual-based application, internal control, IT utilization and HR competency on the quality of financial statement information. The research is a quantitative approach with primary data source. The population in this research was 29 Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) of Sleman Regency. The sample in this research amounted to 107 respondents taken using a purposive sampling. Data collection in this research using a questionnare. The data analysis using a multiple regression. The result of this research show that the accrual-based application, IT utilization and HR competency have a positive effect on the quality of financial statement information, while internal control has no significant affect on the quality of financial statement information.

This study aims to determine the values of tolerance contained in Surah Al-Hujurat verses 11-13 in the Interpretation of Tafsir Al-Munir by Wahbah Zuhaili and how relevant it is to the objectives of Islamic education. This research is library research with primary data source Tafsir Al-Munir's Aqidah wa al-Syari'ah wa al-Manhaj'. Data analysis using content analysis. The results of this study indicate that the religious tolerance values contained four aspects, namely the value of Humanity, plurality, the harmony of life and egalitarian / equality. The relevance of the objectives of Islamic education is to realize students who have the ability to control themselves, are able to maintain peace and harmony in internal and interfaith relations, have a noble personality, and have a commitment to practice their knowledge and skills for the benefit of themselves, society, and the nation-state. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai toleransi beragama yang terkandung dalam Surah Al-Hujurat ayat 11-13 didalam Tafsir Al-Munir Karya Wahbah Zuhaili dan bagaimana relevansinya terhadap tujuan pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan dengan sumber data primer kitab Tafsir Al-Munir fil Aqidah wa al-Syari’ah wa al-Manhaj karya Prof. Wahbah Musthofa Al-Zuhaili. Analisis data menggunakan metode analisis konten. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai toleransi yang terkandung dalam Surah Al-Hujurat ayat 11-13 meliputi empat aspek, yaitu nilai Kemanusiaan, pluralitas, keharmonisan Hidup dan egaliter/kesetaraan. Adapun relevansinya terhadap tujuan pendidikan Islam adalah mewujudkan peserta didik yang memiliki kemampuan mengendalikan diri, mampu menjaga perdamaian dan kerukunan memiliki kepribadian yang mulia, serta memiliki komitmen mengamalkan pengetahuan dan keterampilannya bagi kepentingan dirinya, masyarakat, bangsa dan negara.

This paper discusses the content of Q.S. al-Baqarah ([2]: 67-73). The data used in the preparation of this paper is the data that is primary and secondary. The primary source is data obtained from the core source. In conducting a study of a verse, it is clear that the primary data source is derived from the Qur'an,precisely on Q.S. al-Baqarah ([2]: 67-73). Secondary data is dataobtained from other sources that are still related to the problemand provide interpretation of the primary source. The method usedin analyzing this paper is the tahlili method. This method describesthe meaning contained by the Qur'an, verse by verse, and letterafter letter according to the order in the Mushaf. The descriptionincludes the various aspects which the interpreted verses contain,such as the meaning of the vocabulary, the connotation of thesentence, the background of the verse down, its relation to otherverses, both before and after. And do not miss the opinion that hasbeen given regarding the interpretation of these verses, whetherdelivered by the Prophet, companions, the tabi'in, as well as othercommentators. This study shows that in Q.S. (2): 67-73) there arevalues of moral education which include: 1) morals in asking, (2)morals to parents, (3) patience of educators, (4) educator honesty,and (5) obedience of learners.
