Planning for and making reasonable decisions regarding reaching the target market with an organization’s product is a critical task on the part of management, which involves a careful evaluation and selection of its channel structure and intensity.This study therefore examines distribution channel intensity among table water producers in Edo State, Nigeria. The focus of the study is to ascertain the variables that significantly predict distribution intensity among the firms in the table water industry in Edo State. The study seeks to proffer answer to fundamental question of why brands within a single category of a given consumer good differ significantly in their distribution intensity. Using a survey research design, the data used for this study were obtained by taking a sample of 110 table water firms within the three senatorial districts in the State. The data obtained were presented and analyzed using different statistical tools such as mean and multiple regression through Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 22 software. Findings revealed that manufacturers’ target focus, manufacturers’ support program, brand quality and level of firm’s technological advancement were significant predictors of distribution channel intensity among the industrial players in table water industry in the State. Based on the findings, the study recommended that table water firms within the State can secure a competitive edge over their fellow counterpart in the industry by designing an optimal distribution intensity that will meet up their marketing objectives. It is also recommended that the adoption of modern technology in form of online sales is an efficient way of sales and distribution which could be used to enhance their distribution techniques if there is a need to cut down on middle men due to increased cost. The study concluded that optimal distribution intensity could be achieved not by mere imitation of competitors but through a careful definition and analyses of target focus, support programs, quality of their brand as well as the level of technological advancement of the firms.

This case looks at a new start-up company, d.light Design, as it was seeking to go to market in India with its solar-powered LED lamps in 2009. Sam Goldman, founder and chief customer officer of d.light, was in New Delhi, India; his business-school friend and co-founder Ned Tozun was in China, the site of the company's manufacturing plant.One of the key decisions Goldman and Tozun needed to make was whether d.light should focus on just one distribution channel in India, or multiple channels. The startup had limited capital, so it needed to get the distribution question right to generate revenue quickly.The case thus combines an entrepreneurial problem with an emerging-market, or bottom-of-the-pyramid, channel design challenge. This case does not focus on product design or manufacturing challenges but rather on questions of: The constraints d.light faced in creating an aligned distribution channel. These constraints can have legal, environmental, and/or managerial foundations Demand-side misalignments in the channel structure that will occur if d.light chooses one or another of the considered channels in the case, namely, (a) the RE (rural entrepreneur) channel, (b) the village retailer channel, or (c) the centralized shops channel • What mix of channels—or what single channel—d.light should focus on in the Indian market • The financial return possible based on d.light's current cost structure and overhead expenditures in India Assess channel benefit demand intensities for chosen target market segments Assess channel alignment constraints that can limit the channel designer's ability to optimize the channel to meet identified end-user demands for channel benefits Use these ideas to defend a choice of one or more possible channel structures as appropriate parts of a company's overall channel system Analyze financial opportunity in this situation, given cost parameters and possible market penetration estimates

Agriculture is the extremely important and developing economic movement in all times. Automation of agricultural machines occurs by different ways. One way is through the creation of specialized technical solutions for the required technological processes, another way is the construction of automatic agricultural machines, including mobile ones. The state of modern technology allows to create autonomous machines. The agriculture robotization trends are the high precision and unmanned farming. The article considers the issues of robotization of agricultural machinery. Stages of robotization of agricultural mobile machines were analyzed. The factors affecting the autonomous movement of mobile agrorobots were shown.


In the Modern era, the concept of intellectual property is a matter of significance, and copyright (CR) is a great part of it. Copyright provides the author and the creator of the original works a negative right on literature, dramatics, musical art, cinematograph, and sound recording. By virtue of modern technology among intellectual property, CR is getting more important. Though there is The Copyright Act, 2000 (CA) in Bangladesh is going to be difficult to protect copyright for some defect in the act and the lack of necessary scheme and mechanisms of the government. It is proper time to protect the authors and the creators of copyright by preventing the infringement of copyright through various measures of the state. To protect copyright state should take steps to implement The Copyright Act, 2000 (CA) and it is needed to make some necessary amendments in the present act. Through this research, the researcher tries to highlight the current copyright status of Bangladesh, an overview of The Copyright Act, 2000 (CA), impediments, and solutions to remove the impediments.

<p>This research investigates distribution channels as a critical business mechanism for community-based tourism (CBT) by connecting CBT projects with the market. Specifically, it examines the distribution channels structure of a culture & heritage focused CBT project in Cambodia, explores the key influencing factors behind the observed structure, and develops recommendations for improved economic sustainability. The paper is informed by 21 interviews which were conducted with respondents from Banteay Chhmar CBT, key private sector businesses, NGOs, local and central government, and CBT experts. The examination of the distribution channel structure reveals considerable channel diversity which sees both direct and a variety of indirect channels included in the distribution mix. Due to the community-guided nature of the CBT project, intermediaries had a very strong presence in the distribution structure and maintained both direct and multi-layered indirect channels with consumers. Five factors were identified to underlie the observed distribution structure: commissionable product, product characteristics and market access, information and communication technology, partnership issues, and community capacity. Based on these findings a range of recommendations are proposed that seek to improve the distribution channels related economic sustainability of the CBT project.</p>

The study examined the relationship between green marketing and competitive advantage of table water production in Nigeria. The objective of the paper is to investigate green marketing and competitive advantage in the production of table water in Nigeria. 227 table water companies/factory formed the sample of the study drawn randomly across Edo State, Nigeria. The study used Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) multiple regression method to analyse the data collected from respondents. The study’s findings reveal that eco-labelling had no significant relationship with competitive advantage while environmental advertising was found to be significant and positively related to competitive advantage in the table water industry in Nigeria. The study recommended that table water companies/factories should obtain eco-certification of their table water from certification agencies as well as embarking on green advertisement devoid of greenwash. The paper discusses two types of Chinese calendars – a traditional agricultural calendar “nongli” which existed in China since the 9th century and a Westernized “yuefenpai” calendar that emerged in Shanghai in the late 19th century and flourished until the 30-40s of the 20th century. Apart from the lunar and solar calendars and a table of 24 seasons woodblock “nongli” calendar featured a Stove God Zao-wang alone or with a spouse surrounded by a suite, fortune bringing deities and auspicious symbols, Stove God was believed to ascend to heaven and report good and bad deeds of the family members to the Jade Emperor. New standards of “peoples`” art in PRC borrowed the aesthetics of the traditional woodblock popular prints by proclaiming “new nianhua” as a new tool of propaganda and criticizing “yuefenpai”.“Yuefenpai” differed from “nongli” by modern technology of production and acting as an advertisement, yet early pieces of Shanghai calendars either feature auspicious characters and motifs or introduce current political events, such as accession of the Pu Yi emperor on the throne in 1908 (reigned in 1908–1912). These calendars were seen to be a cheap and easily available media suitable for informing population about news and innovations. The paper attempts to revisit previously established interpretations of some “yuefenpai” calendars. The research is based unpublished pieces from the collections of the State Hermitage, the Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography, academic library of the St.-Petersburg State University, the State Museum of the History of Religion mostly acquired by V.M. Alekseev (1881–1951) during his stays to China.

Physics is closely related to human life, without realizing we have implemented it in daily life such as when working, walking and other activities, not only adults but also children. When talking about physics we definitely think that physics was born from the west. Before the development of the west in the 9th Century AD, Physics was used in society, especially the people of Aceh. It is undeniable that technology has developed more rapidly now. Technology was created to facilitate human affairs. There are innumerable kinds of technologies. One example of a very popular technology is gadgets. Every person uses gadgets with modern technology such as smart phones, Children have now become active consumers in which many electronic products and gadgets make children the target market for their toys. Before the era of sophisticated technology one of the toys chosen by most children was the Bude Trieng (shotgun). Bude Trieng is marked by playing activities both by himself and other peer groups. i is one toy that quite safe and most popular with children. This type of toy is made from bamboo using paper bullets or boh ram. The method of application is insert boh Ram's bullet in the base of the bude trieng, the ram bullet fills the entire circle of the trieng bude hole, the air inside the Bude trieng will automatically be restrained and cannot come out. The air that is held in the middle of the trieng bude will produce pressure when one of the bullets is pushed and will make a sound from the bude trieng. The purpose of this research is to study the construction of the meaning of bude trieng culture in physics. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative research to describe the relationship between the bude trieng and physics.
