The article empirically substantiates the hypothesis about the severity of the characteristics of avoiding psychological intimacy in young people: low autonomy, self-doubt, the presence of an avoidant type of attachment, counter-dependence, the experienced lack of intimacy in relationships with significant adults in childhood and the needs for isolation and security in subjective perceptions of psychological intimacy. These characteristics were compared in two groups of boys and girls aged 20-25 years, the sample was 60 people. Methods were used: "Questionnaire of interpersonal dependence" (p. Girshfield, adapted by O.P. Makushina), the questionnaire "The experience of close relationships" by K. Brennan and R.K. Fraley, adapted by T.V. Kazantseva, the test for counter-dependence (B.K. Weinhold, D.B. Weinhold). The severity of closeness by significant adults in childhood, the peculiarities of subjective ideas about psychological closeness were revealed by the method of conversation and through the creation of a drawing "The image of the desired relationship". The results of the study showed that the differences between the groups are significant in all parameters stated in the hypothesis (p ≤ 0.01). Subjective ideas about intimacy differ in the severity of the needs to be the center of your world in a relationship; in community; in observing personal boundaries; (p ≤ 0.01); to feel safe in a relationship (p ≤ 0.05).

In recent years, more and more young people from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan have come to universities in Chinese Mainland for higher education. However, due to the differences in political, economic and cultural environment between Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions and Chinese Mainland, these young people have encountered psychological problems such as examination anxiety, interpersonal loneliness and lack of sense of meaning in life due to the related learning and life difficulties in Chinese mainland universities, which affect their growth and success. Many of the students originally thought that smoking was used in a more secluded environment to relieve stress, psychological counseling and energy recovery, but in fact smoking brings more harm. In the creation of a smoke-free campus, a variety of measures are adopted to give full play to the positive emotions of students to promote their mental health, which will help to achieve the creation of a smoke-free campus and share a healthy life on the campus. Based on the survey of a total of 658 undergraduates from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in H University on their positive affect and mental health, the following conclusions are drawn through data analysis: undergraduates from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in Chinese Mainland have positive affect at the upper-middle level, negative affect and overall affect at the lower-middle level; some undergraduates from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in Chinese mainland universities have middle-level mental health status and significant differences in grade and family relationship satisfaction; family relationship satisfaction has an important impact on students' emotional and mental health; the negative emotional performance and mental health of senior students, science students and students with low family relationship satisfaction need more attention from educators. Correlation analysis shows that positive affect is positively correlated with health concerns, energy status, satisfaction and interest in life, mood status, control of emotions and behaviors, relaxation and tension, and total score of mental health (P < 0.01). Regression analysis shows that positive affect has significant positive predictive effects on six factors in mental health, such as "health concerns", "satisfaction and interest in life", "energy", "mental state", "control of emotions and behaviors", "relaxation and tension" and mental health. The enlightenment of this study lies in the suggestions that actions should be taken from the two levels of school education and home-school combination to strengthen the cultivation of positive affect of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan undergraduates in Chinese mainland universities, so as to improve their mental health level.

Nicknaming and its uses in daily communication by the people of Rumoong-Lansot villages are considered as both social and lingual phenomena that have existed since a very long time ago and unconsciously have become the internal part of daily interaction of the people. A well-maintained relationship among the individuals in the society is one of the major factors that endorsed them to address each other by using proper nicknames. No matter old or young people, male or female, wealthy or destitute, indigenous or non indigenous, are all unexceptional unrestrained for nicknaming and employing nicknames between one another.  The results of this research showed that term of nicknames employed by the people of Rumoong-Lansot villages concealed nearly the entire elements of internal linguistics and external linguistics. In term of types, all those nicknames that have been successfully collected and analyzed can be categorized into the following aspects: physical state, home and place of birth, occupation, particular moment, and every other feature that promotes the creation of the nicknames. Generally speaking, every single nickname employed by the people is conditioned to identify one specific member of the society in order to generate a clear and unimpeded sort of communication. Specifically, every single nickname is responsible to provide a distinguished portrayal of any peculiar individual in the society, and even more definite, about his most dominating distinctive characteristics.

Is Youth Ministry involved in the creation of new theology? This article assesses the potential of engaging in a 'living theology' by listening to and liaising with the spiritual insights of young people. The conditions for such a theology are created by three movements towards young people. Initially, by noticing and respecting their voices, secondly through crafting space within our theorising for young people's insight to shape theological understanding and thirdly by embracing the lives of young people as a site for connection with God and the construction of theology.

The International Museum of the Red Cross was inaugurated on 29 October 1988 in the presence of Swiss federal and cantonal government representatives, members of the permanent missions to the United Nations Office in Geneva and representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross, the League and many National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. The Museum, initially conceived to provide the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement with a means of becoming better known, attracting funds and inspiring young people, is the outcome of twelve years of tireless effort. Its purpose is not only to document the creation and expansion of the Movement, but also and above all to pay tribute to man's humanity throughout the centuries. As underscored by Mr. Otto Stich, President of the Swiss Confederation, who cut the inaugural ribbon, the International Museum of the Red Cross is “a testimony to the deed, the word or the look that, in the midst of war, violence and disaster, assists and saves”.This is an accurate portrayal of the Museum, which emphasizes humanitarian endeavours rather than war and violence.

This paper contains a proposal to attract young people to participate in local government in Ukraine by given the opportunity to participate in the creation and activities of community organizations to the citizens of Ukraine who are at least 14 years and not incapacitated or deprived of the right to dispose of their income. Author claims that the additional research is needed to question the rights of minors at a general meeting of citizens in the community. The problems lye in the scope of rights advisable to give them — a limited amount of rights so that they could participate in the discussion and resolution of only matters related to community organizations, or the full range of rights that allow them to be full participants of such meetings.

M. Hrushevsky is a remarkable figure in the Ukrainian history of the late 19 – early 20th century. In recent decades there have been a lot of papers devoted to his scientific and political activities, personal life, and analysis of his scientific heritage. However, M. Hrushevsky's relations with the Ukrainian youth are still one of the unsolved aspects. The main idea of the article is an attempt to analyze the scientist's interpretation of the role and key tasks of the students in the process of national self-identification of the Ukrainians. The aims are to explore the nature of M. Hrushevsky's relationship with young people in educational, scientific, private spheres of life, and to specify the professor's contribution in the case of material support of youth. The scientist was clearly aware of the exceptional role and mission of youth in the processes of the Ukrainian nation formation and construction of the Ukrainian state, and therefore he tried to promote its establishment and development in every way. He was convinced that the youth is the bearer of the nation's potential and that the future of the Ukrainians depends on its character and well-being. M. Hrushevsky was assured that his own task and the task of the public are the creation of the conditions for the young generation formation, the development of such qualities as initiative, independence, creativity, and responsibility. The main sphere of relations between M. Hrushevsky and youth was education. In 1894 professor headed the World history department at the philosophy faculty at Lviv University, with a special emphasis on Eastern Europe. He believed that the main condition of the formation of the Ukrainian youth is the creation of the ability to get an education in the native language, as well as the opportunity of being involved in the scientific activity. M. Hrushevsky read original lecture courses in Ukrainian, which were attended by students of different faculties. At the university, he also conducted the practical classes ("historical exercises"), during which he tried to stimulate students' scientific activity and develop their critical view of the world. Professor had the private lessons, too, during which he provided students with the consultations, listened to the research works, and estimated those. Moreover, he allowed students to use his library. M. Hrushevsky encouraged young people to study science. In the summer of 1904, with the assistance of the Shevchenko Scientific Society, he founded in Lviv the Ukrainian academic vacation courses. The last ones gave to the Ukrainian youth the opportunity to meet and communicate with the Ukrainian scientists from Galicia and the Dnieper Ukraine. M. Hrushevsky himself taught courses on the history of Ukraine. The professor encouraged students to work in the archives and collect materials for the research. He helped them to obtain permission to work in the archives in different countries and searched the financial support for such assignments. And, as an editor of scientific publications, he promoted publication of the articles by his students. Sometimes the relationship between professor and his students acquired a private character. The students often visited M. Hrushevsky's home with the aim to talk or report the news, accepted his invitations for lunch, dinner, and holidays. Some of them had a vacation in a professor's house in Kryvorivnia village. M. Hrushevsky always was sincerely concerned about the financial problems of Ukrainian students. For the financial support of the young scientists on the professor's initiative, several scholarship funds were established in the Shevchenko Scientific Society. M. Hrushevsky also initiated the fundraising for the construction of a dormitory for the Ukrainian youth – "Academic building" in Lviv. He curated the construction of this institution during 1904–1905. M. Hrushevsky, in every way, supported student organizations in various aspects of their activities, as well as the political initiatives of young people. For numerous times, he participated in various events organized by youth societies. The scientist entirely supported the students in the struggle for the opening of the Ukrainian University in Lviv. Thus, in the paper, it is proved that M. Hrushevsky was aware of the exceptional role of students in the formation of the Ukrainian nation and believed that youth is the basis of the intellectual elite foundation process. The relations between the scientist and the Ukrainian youth were close and diverse. In M. Hrushevsky's activities, the priority was given to the versatile political, scientific, moral, and material support of students. Keywords: M. Hrushevsky, youth, students, education, science, Lviv University, Academic building.
