Vyanga is one of the Kshudraroga1, characterized by the presence of painless, bluish-black patches on face. On the basis of clinical features, it can be compared with Facial melasma. Melasma is characterized by dark, discolored patches on skin. It's also called chloasma. It typically occurs in the face and symmet-rical, with matching marks on both sides of the face. Area of the body which exposed to sun can also de-velop melasma. According to Ayurveda, vitiated Dosha mainly Pitta along with Vata produce blackish patches on the face which is called Vyanga. Vyanga is Rakta Pradoshaj Vikar and in its Doshas involved is Udana Vayu, Bhajrak Pitta and Dushya Rasa and Rakta Dhatu, as this condition disturbed our mental and physical state. In modern medical science, topical steroids have been described in the management of faci-al melasma. However, the topical steroids are may cause adverse effects such as irritation, rashes etc. and are expensive too. Ayurveda treatment includes Abhyanga with Taila, Lepa, Pradeha, Nasya, Rak-tamokshana etc. Ayurveda mentions a good number of drugs like Kusthaghna, Kandughna, Raktasho-dhaka, Twakprasadaka and Varnyakara properties e.g. Arjuna, Nimba, Manjistha are helpful in manage-ment and can produce cutaneous depigmentation that remove the blackish discoloration of skin.

Background/ Context: Corticosteroids, despite being a very effective line of treatment for various disorders is known to have a wide range of adverse effects. The use of systemic and topical steroids has been associated with cataract formation, however the ophthalmic side effects of application of steroid on skin away from the face has not been studied in depth. With increasing use of corticosteroids as rst line of therapy in treatment of various dermatological conditions, the ocular side effects, if any, of these preparations, cannot be overlooked. Aim: To study the incidence of cataract in patients using skin preparations of corticosteroids away from the face and also to correlate the dose and duration of steroid therapy to incidence of cataract. Materials & Methods: 50 patients with dermatological disorders who were being treated with dermatological steroids, on sites other than the face and periorbital region, for a period of more than six months consisted of the study group. The study group consisted of patients in the age group of 20 – 60 years. The study was conducted over a period of two years at a tertiary care hospital. Visual acuity, Slit lamp biomicroscopy, applanation tonometryand detailed fundus examination using 90D lens were carried out. Results: The incidence of cataract was signicantly higher in patients using dermatological steroids away from the face. Prolonged duration of use of these steroids also indicated a signicantly higher incidence of cataract. However, a larger population based study needs to be carried out to study the relationship between potency of steroid and incidence of cataract, although preliminary studies indicate a denite correlation between the two. Conclusions: Despite, steroids being used away from the face, there was a denite increase in the incidence of cataract. Before coming to any rm conclusions it would be advisable to reproduce the study in a larger population. However from the present pilot study it is prudent to advocate judicious use of innocuous looking steroid creams as they can cause signicant adverse effects

The ancient Indian medical science Ayurveda describe various core concept related to the physiological functioning and biological response; Agni and Ritu are such concept. These concepts are not only helpful maintain health in a person but also cure disease. Agni gives power to our body by performing digestion and assimilation of food. Jatharagni, Bhutagni and dhatvagni contributes digestive and metabolic activities of absorbed food. Samagni gives Arogya, Ayu, Bala, Swasthyam, Varnam, Utsaha, oja, prabha and teja to the body which all are mirror physical and mental State1. Agni dushti is one of premier causative factor for many diseases so Agni play important role in understanding of disease prognosis, pathogenesis, diagnosis establishment of treatment protocol. In human being Agni also affected by various such as Ritu, Aahar etc. This article emphasized conceptual understanding of Agni and its variation according to Ritu.

Novel Corona disease becomes a worldwide crisis. Its outbreak starts from China and now it becomes a pandemic. The aim is to review various Ayurvedic remedies for COVID-19. This was purely a literary study done from various Ayurvedic compendiums. As there is no effective treatment in the form medicine &vaccines is available for COVID- 19 in contemporary science. But in the ancient medical science Vatasleshmika Jwara(fever) can be correlated with COVID-19 as Their symptoms are indistinguishable. Like, the clinical features of COVID- 19 are fever, cough, dyspnea, cold, headache, etc. are relatable to Santapa, ShushkaKasa, Bhrushamkshav,Pratishya, Shirograha which are Akshan of Vatasleshmak Jwar. Here, treatment can be given according to the Chikitsa of Vatasleshmakjwar on COVID 19.In current outbreak of Corona; it may prove as a ray of hope for further research.

The disease Sthaulya has been mentioned by Acharya Charaka in Ashtaunindita purushadhyaya. symptomps like heaviness and bulkiness of the body due to extreme growth especially in Udaradi (Abdomen) region is termed as “Sthula” and the state (Bhava) of Sthula is called as “Sthaulya”. Charaka has mentioned the Beejadosha Swabhavata as one ofthe important etiological factors besides other for the disease. nowadays maximum percentages of carbohydrates & high-tech machineries which makes a person less active & prone to Sthaulya. organs, Kshudra shwasa, Anga gauravata and other various signs andsymptoms. In modern medical science Sthaulya is compared with Obesity and it is defined asexcess of body fat that poses a health risk. It is caused by excess calorieintake, but endocrine disorders like hypothalamic disorders, Hypothyroidism, Cushing‟s syndrome etc. can also be the cause of Obesity. Here in the case study a female patient of age 44 years presenting with clinical features of Sthaulya and was treated with madhutailik basti and Udvartana got relief within 15 days.

A 10-year old male intact Shih Tzu, was presented to our clinic with complains of skin and hair problem. The condition had been appeared for 3 months. The antifungal medicated shampoo was given to the patient by the previous veterinarian, but there was no any clinical improvement. The clinical symptoms included alopecia in the dorsal body and trunk, comedones, hyperpigmentation, scales, lichenification, <em>pot bellied</em>, polyuria and polydipsia. Skin scraping and trichogram in the face area and fore limb found <em>Demodex sp</em>. Adult onset generalized demodicosis usually has an underlying cause. Endocrine disorders such as hypothyroidism and hyperadrenocorticism must be ruled out. From the clinical sign and laboratory work suggested for Low Dose Dexamethasone Suppressing Test (LDDST). Cortisol value after 8 hours of low dose dexamethasone injection was greater than basal cortisol, it means dexamethasone failed to suppressing cortisol level due to the high number of cortisol in the body. From LDDST the diagnose of hyperadrenocorticism (Cushing syndrome) has been made. The dog was given trilostane (Vetoryl<sup>®</sup>) 3mg/kg SID for the Cushing and imidacloprid and moxidectine spot on (Advocate<sup>®</sup> spot on) every 2 weeks for the demodicosis. Scales and lichenification was reduced and the skin got better after 3 weeks. Unfortunately, after 3 months of treatment, the dog had neurological sign including seizure, head tilt and nystagmus. From the neurological sign, we suspected that the dog had macroadenoma type of hyperadrenocorticism. A week after hospitalization, the owner decided to euthanize the dog.

Tinea versicolor is a common superficial fungal infection of the skin, prevalent in the hot and humid environment of India. It is caused by the Malassezia species which is a dimorphic, lipophilic fungus most frequently affecting the seborrheic areas of the body like face, neck, upper back and chest. Normally 10- 15% of the general practitioner’s encounter skin disorders in their day to day practice with overall prevalence rate of 30% or more probably occurring in tropical zones. Kustha a type of skin disorder mentioned in Ayurveda is a Tridoshaja Vyadhi, where Twaka, Rakta, Mamsa and Ambu are the main Dushyas. According to Charaka, Sidhma is a Kapha Vata Pradhan Vyadhi and According to Sushruta, Sidhma is Kapha Pradhan vyadhi. Management of sidhma includes Shodhana, Shamana and Bahirparimarjana Chikitsa among them Shamana in the form of kwatha & Bahirparimarjana Chikitsa as Lepa has shown appreciable result in many previous researches. So, need of time is to go for cost effective, safe and efficient treatment of Sidhma. Although, there are many drugs available in modern medical science for the treatment of Pityriasis versicolor which is found to be effective but is unsatisfactory for long term prophylaxis, so there is need of the hour to look into the safe, efficient & satisfactory remedy which not only treat the above ailments, but also ensure reduction in  the episodes of relapse of the disease. Keeping all the above points in mind Edagajadi yoga & Gandhapashanadi lepa has been selected to know its efficacy in treating Sidhma kushtha (Pityriasis versicolor). Edagajadi yoga & Gandhapashanadi lepa consists of 10 drugs with different properties which includes Edagaja, Vidanga, Haridra, Daruharidra, Amlatasa, Kushta, Pippali, Gandhak, yavkshar, sarshapa taila. Background and Purpose:  The condition that a person experiences stress can affect the function of various organ systems of the body, especially the cardiovascular system. Manifestations of prolonged stress can turn into anxiety. This study aims to determine differences in temperature distribution in the face of students who experience anxiety facing the OSCE.Method: This research method using pre-experimental design where samples are experiencing anxiety seen temperature distribution in the face area by using thermal imaging. The sample was selected using total sampling technique in which as many as 81 students were undergoing tests OSCE is used as a sample in this study. The instrument used to measure the level of anxiety is the GAD 7, consists of seven items given questions prior to the measurement of temperature using thermal imaging.Results: The results obtained are subjected to mild anxiety as much as 49 respondents where the frontal head temperature measurement that 23 people was febrile, 22 people was normal and 4 people was hypothermia. While the results of the temporal head measurement that 27 people was febrile, 20 people was normal, and 2 people was hypothermia.Conclusion   and   recommendation:  There is a difference in temperature at each level of anxiety as measured by the temperature of the temporal and frontal. Therefore, it needs to be investigated further there a change in temperature by measuring themal imaging, after the addition of interventions for coping with anxiety.

Ayurveda is the best way to deal with it as it cures the root cause of any problem. According to Ayurveda skin diseases are caused by imbalance of Doshas and therefore treatment depends on imparting harmony and balance for the individual. In Ayurveda skin diseases are included under the heading of Kushta and Kshudrarogas. Vyanga is one among the Kshudra rogas, even though Vyanga is a Kshudraroga it produces a great misery for the person due to dark discoloration of the skin, mostly over the face, occasionally on neck and rarely in forearms. Vyanga is a pathological situation of the facial skin which is produced due to the vitiation of Vata, Pitta, Rakta and Manasika Nidanas such as Krodha (anger), Shoka (sorrow), and Ayasa (mental exertion) are main culprits, these producing cardinal features such as Niruja (painless), Tanu (thin) and Shyavavarna Mandalas (bluish black colour patches). The Lakshanas of Vyanga are explained by different authors in the classical texts of Ayurveda under the heading of Kshudra rogas, Sushruta samhita, Ashtanga samghraha, Madhava nidana, Ashtanga hrudaya, Bhava prakasha, Sharangadhara samhita. In the context of Vyanga both Shodhana and Shamana chikitsa are explained in the form of Raktamokshana, Lepa, Abhyanga, and oral medications. Vyanga is correlated with melasma in the modern aspects, it is a chronic, acquired cutaneous characterised by hypopigmented patches on sun exposed areas of the face. Ayurveda cures the root cause of any problem. Any activity that increases the fire or heat in the body increase Pitta and can lead to skin diseases.

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a widely represented species of bacteria possessing of a pathogenic potential. This infectious agent is causing wound infections, fibrotic cystitis, fibrosing pneumonia, bacterial sepsis, etc. The microorganism is highly resistant to antiseptics, disinfectants, immune system responses of the body. The responses of a quorum sense of this kind of bacteria ensure the inclusion of many pathogenicity factors. The analysis of the scientific literature made it possible to formulate four questions concerning the role of biofilms for the adaptation of P. aeruginosa to adverse environmental factors: Is another person appears to be predominantly of a source an etiological agent or the source of P. aeruginosa infection in the environment? Does the formation of biofilms influence on the antibiotic resistance? How the antagonistic activity of microorganisms is realized in biofilm form? What is the main function of biofilms in the functioning of bacteria? A hypothesis has been put forward the effect of biofilms on the increase of antibiotic resistance of bacteria and, in particular, P. aeruginosa to be secondary in charcter. It is more likely a biofilmboth to fulfill the function of storing nutrients and provide topical competition in the face of food scarcity. In connection with the incompatibility of the molecular radii of most antibiotics and pores in biofilm, biofilm is doubtful to be capable of performing a barrier function for protecting against antibiotics. However, with respect to antibodies and immunocompetent cells, the barrier function is beyond doubt. The biofilm is more likely to fulfill the function of storing nutrients and providing topical competition in conditions of scarcity of food resources.

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death among women. National cancer institute of the US estimates that one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime. Considering the devastating effects of the disease and the alarming numbers many scientists and research groups have devoted their research to fight breast cancer. Several recommendations are to be considered as preventing measures which include living a healthy lifestyle, regular physical activity, weight control and smoking cessation. Early detection of the disease by annual and regular mammography after the age of 40 is recommended by many healthcare institutions. This would help the diagnosis of the disease at an earlier stage and the start of the treatment before it is spread to other parts of the body. Current therapy for breast cancer includes surgical ablation, radiotherapy and chemotherapy which is often associated with adverse effects and even may lead to a relapse of the disease at a later stage. In order to achieve a long-lasting anticancer response with minimal adverse effects, development of breast cancer vaccines is under investigation by many laboratories. The immune system can be stimulated by a vaccine against breast cancer. This approach has attracted a great enthusiasm in recent years. No breast cancer vaccines have been approved for clinical use today. One breast cancer vaccine (NeuVax) has now completed clinical trial phase III and a few preventive and therapeutic breast cancer vaccines are at different steps of development. We think that with the recent advancements in immunotherapy, a breast cancer vaccine is not far from reach.
