C Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model supports students to focus on learning and skill processes. CPS learning, students could select, process, and develop their responses in solving a problem creatively. Metacognition plays an important role in CPS since it could monitor students in selecting and using strategy to improve further cognitive performance. This research aims to find out effectiveness of CPS learning model on mathematics creative thinking skill reviewed from students’ metacognitions. This mixed method research used sequential explanatory design. The population consisted of VIII graders at SMP N 4 Kudus. The samples consisted of experimental class with CPS learning and control class with discovery learning. The first stage of thr research was quantitative data collection. It were done using test and questionnaires to categorized the subject. The next stage was qualitative data collections which were done by using questionnaires and interview. Data of  quantitative data were triangulated with the qualitative data to gain the goal of the research. The findings showed that CPS model was effective to improve creative thinking skill reviewed from students’ metacognitions. Students with high metacognition in the experimental class are more creative than the control class. CPS learning can improve students' creative thinking through the stages of idea finding to acceptance finding, because students can find new ideas and choose the right solution from some of the ideas they have. Mathematics  creative thinking skill of the students with high metacognition shown form the students’ ability in writing problem solving skill of creative questions logically and could provide other notions. Students with medium category have the similar achievement but can correct errors; meanwhile students with low metacognition can wrote problem solving skill of creative questions quite logically and still have problems in giving ideas.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between peer assessment and instructor assessment and make a comparison with views of preservice teachers. Since qualitative and quantitative methods were used together in the study, it was grounded on the mixed method approach. The quantitative data in this study, in which 27 preservice teachers participated on a voluntary basis, were obtained from scoring rubric whereas qualitative data were obtained from a semi-structured interview form prepared by the researchers. Statistical analyses were conducted to analyze the quantitative data collected within the scope of the study, whereas Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient was used to analyze the relationship between instructor assessment and peer assessment, and paired samples t test was used to determine the differences between pairwise groups. The qualitative data, on the other hand, were analyzed using the content analysis technique. As a result of the analysis, it was seen that there was a positive and significant correlation between instructor assessment and peer assessment. When the preservice teachers’ views were examined, those views rose to prominence stating that making assessments contributed to learning; they grew aware of imperfect knowledge; questioning and critical thinking improved, and fair assessment skills developed. This was interpreted to mean that preservice teachers could distinguish between adequate and inadequate work. However, when the preservice teachers’ views concerning their assessments by their peers were examined, the view attracted attention stating that friendship relations and personal problems affected assessment negatively and therefore peers gave low scores. At this point, when the mean scores were examined, it was seen that mean peer scores were higher than instructor mean scores. This was interpreted to mean that some preservice teachers did not have confidence in their peers.

Curriculum is a guide to the implementation of learning activities to achieve educationalgoals. The Education Unit Level curriculum in 2006 was refined into the 2013 curriculum, the2013 curriculum is a new curriculum that was implemented in the 2013/2014 school year, yet thesocialization has not been comprehensive. There is a hesitation that it will not be carried outproperly by educators due to the difficulties that the educators obtained. This study aims todetermine the difficulties faced by science teachers in the implementation of 2013 curriculumlearning, this research is descriptive analytic. The research method was carried out through twoactivities: field and non-field activities. The data taken were quantitative data from questionnairesand interviews, while qualitative data were taken through observation. Subjects in this study wereteachers in the seventh grade Natural Sciences (IPA) class, the students, and the representatives ofthe curriculum. The results showed that the difficulties experienced by the teachers in implementingthe Lesson Plan (RPP) were very low at only 11%, parallel with the difficulties in implementinglearning with only 16.2%, and the difficulties in evaluating with only 34 %. The low percentage ofdifficulties indicates that it is not the aspect of learning implementation that complicates the 2013curriculum but other aspects. Based on the study, it can also be concluded that the 2013curriculum is effective to be implemented despite the fact that some teachers had not participatedin the 2013 curriculum socialization. Mostly, the teachers had carried out the 2013 curriculumlearning activities effectively, students also partly responded well and were motivated to learn withthe 2013 curriculum implementation. Parts of the data also revealed statements about difficulties inlearning with the 2013 curriculum. The data explicated that the students were not motivated andnot involved in learning activities due to the curriculum implementation. Keywords: teacher difficulties, 2013 curriculum, 2013 curriculum learning Abstrak.
