Speech is a means of communication between people throughout the world. At present research in the field of speech recognition continues to develop in producing a robust method in various research variants. However decreasing the word error rate or reducing noise is still a problem that is still being investigated until now. The purpose of this study is to find the right method with high accuracy to classify the gender voices of Javanese. This research used a human voice dataset of both men and women from the Javanese tribe which was recorded and then processed using a noise reduction preprocessing technique with the MFCC extraction feature method and then classified using 2 machine learning methods, namely Random Forest and Neural Network. Evaluation results indicate that the classification of Javanese accent speech accents results in an accuracy rate of 91.3 % using Random Forest and 92.2% using Neural Network.

Stress will definitely be experienced by every human being and the level of stress experienced by each individual is different. Stress experienced by students certainly will disturb their study if it is not handled quickly and appropriately. Therefore we have created an expert system using a neural network backpropagation algorithm to help counselors to predict the stress level of students. The network structure of the experiment consists of 26 input nodes, 5 hidden nodes, and 2 the output nodes, learning rate of 0.1, momentum of 0.1, and epoch of 5000, with a 100% accuracy rate. Index Terms - Stress on study, expert system, neural network, Stress Prediction

Health care for independently living elders is more important than ever. Automatic recognition of their Activities of Daily Living (ADL) is the first step to solving the health care issues faced by seniors in an efficient way. The paper describes a Deep Neural Network (DNN)-based recognition system aimed at facilitating smart care, which combines ADL recognition, image/video processing, movement calculation, and DNN. An algorithm is developed for processing skeletal data, filtering noise, and pattern recognition for identification of the 10 most common ADL including standing, bending, squatting, sitting, eating, hand holding, hand raising, sitting plus drinking, standing plus drinking, and falling. The evaluation results show that this DNN-based system is suitable method for dealing with ADL recognition with an accuracy rate of over 95%. The findings support the feasibility of this system that is efficient enough for both practical and academic applications.
