AC Sunbeam summer turnip rape (Brassica rapa L.) is a canola-quality cultivar. It is well adapted to the short and mid-season growing areas of western Canada. It is higher yielding than AC Parkland, and has a higher oil and protein content than Tobin. AC Sunbeam has a good level of resistance to white rust, and has a very low meal glucosinolate content.
