Artificial intelligence (AI) has been used mainly on education in some methods that contribute to the development of competencies and test systems. With the continued development of educational AI solutions, it is hoped that AI will help address the need for learning, education, and teaching. AI can enhance performance, personalization, and streamline administrative tasks in order to give teachers time and freedom to learn and adapt—uniquely human skills that would battle on machines. The AI dream of education is one where the best results for students are obtained, based on the best qualities of machinery and teachers. The development of curriculum based on the specific needs of individual students has been a concern for educators for many years, but the AI presents teachers with an unprecedented degree of distinction to handle 30 students in each class. With AI many possibilities can be seen in the teaching and learning system considering interest and understanding of an individual, which will increase efficiency of the education system.

The benefits of integration of Computer and Information Technology into Nigerian secondary school curriculum were identified and discussed. Already, Nigeria is on the wrong side of the international digital and global world of computer technology, as it has not made significant effort to integrate Computer and Information Technology into secondary school curriculum especially State and private owned secondary schools. A great deal of instructional and administrative work in secondary schools in Nigeria is still carried out manually. This paper, therefore, examines the major obstacles militating against the teaching and learning of information Technology, and also the use of computer technology in secondary education in Nigeria. It further identifies the high cost of computer hardware and software resources; weak infrastructure; lack of human skills and knowledge in Computer and Information Technology, as the major stumbling block to the adoption of Information and Communication Technology in secondary school education system in Nigeria. The study recommends that efforts should be made by government to post skillful teachers with knowledge of Computer and Information Technology to teach in the secondary schools so as to impact computer skills to the students, and also stabilize electricity supply in Nigeria for effective teaching and learning process of Computer and Information Technology.

ON TEACHING AND LEARNING FOR THE APPLICATION OF HUMAN SKILLS IN THE COURSE OF ISLAMIC CIVILIZATION AND ASIA (TITAS) AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MALAYA KUALA LUMPUR MALAYSIAExcessive focus on academics and learning environment that tends to measure excellence based on performance in examinations was found not to give an advantage to students in acquiring soft skills through the teaching and learning process (T&L) of a subject. This study is a preliminary study and as a start focuses on one of the MPU which is TITAS. It aims to explain the innovations implemented on TITAS courses, especially related to learning strategies at the University of Malaya, and look at students' perceptions of learning strategy innovations that apply the elements of Soft Skills (KI) and their achievements in obtaining the KI. As a preliminary study, only two elements of KI were the focus, namely teamwork skills and communication skills. The research method used is a library study to explain the implementation of the TITAS course and analyze student achievement in the KI of this course. Questionnaires were also distributed to 120 students who have taken TITAS courses and the findings of the study are descriptive in the form of percentage and frequency or frequency to analyze the data. The results of this study found that students' perceptions of the innovation of learning strategies and assessment methods implemented are good. This has also had a positive impact on the achievements obtained in the evaluation of coursework and their KI achievement. Students do not face problems in performing tasks in groups consisting of various ethnicities and backgrounds.

ICT is a critical tool for expanding human skills and rests largely on a system of producing, distributing and utilising information and knowledge that in turn plays a great role in driving productivity and economic prosperity. Kenya as a developing country realizes this importance and has a ministry specifically dealing with ICT. The vision statement of the ministry of information and Technology as stated in its strategic plan 2013-2018 is to make Kenya a globally competitive knowledge-based economy.  This vision aims at shifting the current industrial development path towards innovation where creation, adoption, adaptation and use of knowledge remain the key source of economic growth. Research has shown that countries which have invested a lot in their human capital are far ahead of others in development.  This development is likely to be an illusion unless Kenya is able to achieve its educational goals. Education and training has been isolated in the vision 2030 as the only mechanism that will translate Kenya into a middle-income economy. This is because education is fundamental to development of human resource capacities for sustainable economic growth and development. Through impartation of new skills and knowledge in people, education is able to improve human capabilities and labour productivity. It is in this regard that the Kenyan government has invested a lot of funds in ICT infrastructure including digitization of educational materials through Kenya Institute of curriculum Development. Kenya’s   vision  of  education  service  provision  is  to  have  a  globally  competitive  quality education,  training and research  for Kenya’s sustainable development. This study focused on the influence of secondary school  managers on integration of ICT in teaching and learning in Githunguri subcounty, Kiambu County in Kenya.  The study targeted 40 schools with a total population of 245 male teachers and 282 female teachers. teachers.  A researcher developed questionnaire was issued to all the  40 school managers and to 100 teachers for triangulation purposes. Data analysis was done using statistical package for social sciences (SPSS).The study sort to establish if there is a relationship between management support and ICT integration in teaching and learning.  Pearson correlation coefficient was used in the analysis. A positive correlation coefficient of 0.560 was obtained between the level of school management support and the use of ICT in teaching and learning. The findings indicated that school managers influenced integration of ICT in teaching and learning. The study therefore suggested that effort should be made by all stakeholders to ensure that school managers come up with policies on ICT integration in their schools which should be in line with the National ICT policy.  KEY word: ICT integration, Teaching and learning, school managers, transformational leadership, challenging the process, secondary schools

Bu aktarım sırasında öğrencinin bakış açısını gelişmesini sağlayacak yöntemlerden birisi vak’ a yöntemidir. Bu çalışmada muhasebe eğitiminde vak’a yönteminin yeri ve önemi üzerinde durulacaktır.

Abstract The intent of this article is to share my research endeavors in order to raise awareness of issues relative to what and how we teach as a means to spark interest in applying the scholarship of teaching and learning to what we do as faculty in communication sciences and disorders (CSD). My own interest in teaching and learning emerged rather abruptly after I introduced academic service-learning (AS-L) into one of my graduate courses (Stevens, 2002). To better prepare students to enter our profession, I have provided them with unique learning opportunities working with various community partners including both speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and teachers who supported persons with severe communication disorders.

Abstract The use of podcasting is incredibly widespread, with experts estimating that 60 million Americans will be using podcasting in some form by 2010. The use of podcasting has grown beyond entertainment to become an educational tool, showing promise as a way to disseminate information and create networks of professional learners. However, despite the growing clinical and educational uses of podcasting in other professional disciplines, podcasting is being used primarily as a continuing education tool for speech-language pathologists and audiologists at this time. This article provides guidelines and examines the potential applications for use of podcasting in teaching and learning in communication sciences and disorders.
