In this paper, Psylliodes afromontana sp. nov. and P. shira sp. nov., both from Eastern Africa [Kenya (Kikuyu Escarpment) and Tanzania (Kilimanjaro) respectively], are described. The two new species are attributed to the montana species-group, currently including four other wingless species occurring in the montane forests of Kenya and Tanzania: Psylliodes montana Weise, P. kikuyana Biondi, P. masai Biondi, P. manobioides Nadein. Micrographs of diagnostic characters, comprehending male and female genitalia are supplied. Ecological data for each species, including habitat preference, and phenology are also reported.

Species of the tolutarius species group of the genus Stomodes Schoenherr, 1826 are revised. A redescription of the genus is provided and all available male and female genitalia are illustrated. Two new species, S. benedikti sp. n. and S. dodocunevi sp. n. from Greece, are described. A lectotype is designated for S. amorei Desbrochers des Loges, 1904. The redescriptions of the following species are provided: S. marocanus Hoffmann, 1956; S. muelleri Lona, 1922; S. leonhardi Wagner, 1912; S. letzneri Reitter, 1889 and S. tolutarius Schoenherr, 1826. S. muelleri is for the first time recorded for Macedonia, Bosnia and Hercegovina and Greece; S. tolutarius for Macedonia, Bulgaria and Turkey. An identification key to species of the tolutarius species group is given.

AbstractThe Scythris fuscoaenea species-group of Scythrididae, exclusively confined to Europe, is defined and reviewed. It includes the following species: fuscoaenea (Haworth, 1828), parafuscoaenea sp. n., vartianae Kasy, 1962, tenuivittella (Stainton, 1867), vittella (O. G. Costa, 1836), dissimilella (Herrich-Schäffer, 1855), derrai sp. n. and traugotti sp. n. Scythris parafuscoaenea sp. n. is closely related to fuscoaenea and is found in Spain and France. The other two new species are hitherto only recorded from isolated localities, A. derrai sp. n. from Sardinia and A.traugotti sp. n. from southern Spain. Male and female genitalia of all species are illustrated.
