Although mobile money (MM) has been explored in the existing literature, the roles of trust and risk in MM use have received little attention from researchers. Furthermore, many of the existing studies have treated these constructs as unidimensional. The extant literature also shows that perceived risk has received little attention from researchers who have conducted studies on MM. Thus, the objective of this study is to examine the roles of trust and perceived risk in customers' intent to adopt MM services in Ghana. Both trust and perceived risk were broken down into various dimensions. The study involved 671 respondents who were selected via an intercept approach and an online survey. Structural equation modelling was used to test the study's hypotheses. The findings show that perceived risk is negatively associated with customers' intent to use MM services and economy-based trust. Trust in service providers and economy-based trust are positively associated with customers' intent to use MM services. The implications of the findings are provided in the latter part of this study.

This study aims to investigate the effect of soft skills and ethics and value on the employers’ willingness to continue recruiting Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) graduates, together with the moderating effect of knowledge on the relationship between soft skills and the employers’ willingness to continue recruiting UMT graduates. The study’s respondents comprised of 208 employers in Malaysia who responded through an online survey using Google Forms. The survey data was then analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM), indicating that soft skills positively affected the employers’ willingness to continue recruiting UMT graduates. Nevertheless, ethics and value were found to be insignificant factors on the employers’ willingness to continue recruiting UMT graduates. It was also revealed that knowledge had the moderating effect on the relationship between soft skills and the employers’ willingness to continue recruiting UMT graduates. Therefore, universities were recommended to invest in soft skills and knowledge education to ensure that graduates met the employers’ professional recruitment standards in areas of expertise.

Abstract Bridges are an important part of a road network system, so they need to be kept functioning properly. Bridge preservation is one of the important and fundamental types of handling to maintain the condition of the bridge in good condition and restore the condition of the bridge to its original capacity so that it can serve effectively. The purpose of this study is to identify the contribution of the influence of factors and variables that affect the quality of the implementation of bridge preservation. Data analysis was based on the results of a survey of respondents who came from service users, service providers and the public who had been involved in implementing bridge preservation. The analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling method. The results showed that the implementation of bridge preservation factors and variables that influence the implementation of bridge preservation influence on the achievement of the quality of the bridge preserva-tion of 60.6%. The contribution of the influence of the factors that affect the quality of the implementation of the bridge preservation is the human resource factor contributing to the effect of 89.4%, a material factor of 81.8%, a method factor of 80.7%, a tool factor of 68.7%, a factor financial contribution of 54.0%, and environmental factors contributed an influence of 53.1%. To realize good quality achievements, the parties involved in implementing bridge preservation must pay attention to 6 factors and 33 important variables to be able to support these quality achievements. Keywords: bridge preservation; Structural Equation Modelling; influence contribution; quality achievement. Kata-kata kunci: preservasi jembatan; Structural Equation Modelling; kontribusi pengaruh; capaian mutu.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to examine the role of trust and perceived value (PV) in customer intentions to adopt mobile money application (MMA) services. Trust and PV were broken down into various dimensions. This study investigated the two-component base trusts, namely, economic and service, and also PV as an antecedent. Design/methodology/approach This study involved 402 respondents selected through the interception and online survey approach and had five hypotheses. The structural equation model was used to test the hypothesis of this study. Findings The findings showed that the PV was related to the customer’s intention to use MMA services and economy-based trust. Trust in service providers and economic-based trust were positively related to customer intentions to use MMA services. Research limitations/implications Although the concept of MMA has been explored in several literatures, the role of trust and PV in the use of MMA has not been of much concern among researchers. In addition, this study described PV as a construction with five supporting dimensions. The current literature showed that the integration of PV with construct trust was still lacking in attention from researchers especially the study of MMA. Practical implications For practitioners, these findings confirmed that MMA service providers need to convince customers of protection to money and personal information. Also, providers need to ensure that the use of MMA provides cost and time effectiveness. Besides, it is important to ensure the services provided to customers are the fastest way to carry out financial transactions, in this case, including payment and retail purchases. This finding also showed that PV related to MMA services needs to be studied from a customer perspective, focusing on four aspects of ethics, playfulness, customer return of investment and excellent service. Therefore, handling PV in these services requires specific strategies to deal with these various aspects. Originality/value This study integrated two dimensions of trust, thus economic trust and service trust, the authors also integrated dimension of PV as the antecedent of two dimensions of trust, to understand the dimension of intention use MMA.

Abstract Background and Purpose: Despite scholarly interest in understanding the role of different determinants on entrepreneurs and their behavior, little is known about the relationship between entrepreneurial curiosity and innovativeness. This research explores the relationship between entrepreneurial curiosity, which motivates entrepreneurs to gather information about their business and innovativeness that motivate entrepreneurs to incorporate innovations into entrepreneurial processes. Design/Methodology/Approach: Participants in this study were entrepreneurs from Slovenia and USA. By using structural equation modelling, we linked the two constructs of entrepreneurial curiosity and innovativeness to test the influence. Results: Results indicate that entrepreneurial curiosity positively influences innovativeness. The results of this study indicate that at the frame of entrepreneurship psychology entrepreneurial curiosity is important for innovativeness. Conclusion: This paper links the two studied constructs and presents a valuable contribution for entrepreneurship theory; therefore, the results could be used for a further scientific research as also for practical implications.
